I was wondering if you guys can make a video about where to find genuine, nice guys like James? I am 27 and about to enter my masters program, so I was hoping to find someone there after giving up on dating apps the past few years. Although I was open to dating apps, I have not had too much luck on those because I am more like you guys, I want a quality relationship and not just to hookup or move to different people. Although I am focusing on school right now to build my career and not rushing to get married, it would be nice to find some guys interested in something serious. I am getting a little worried because I am at the age where a lot of my friends are engaged, married, or dating somebody. Aweee that’s sooo sweet❤️ You’re the sweetest😊 So we just to start by saying it’s a very good thing that you chose to focus on your studies and are following through completing them👏🏼👏🏼 We know we live in this time where time is always escaping us but the one important thing is to be patient. Don’t RUSH. All good things take time you know. Even with us we found each other but it was a good year and a half before we even got serious.
What we would suggest is do some activities where you can have the opportunity to meet people. Like volunteering, art classes, dance classes, sports or something your into. Meeting someone in the real world these days seems rare. Lol I (Tina) truly believe if you meet a guy and you like him and have a good feeling be honest about your intentions. See where’s he’s at. If he leaves then forget that dude 😝he wasn’t right for you but if he stays then maybe you can develop an amazing relationship. I (Tina) was honest with James about my intentions and boundaries and he respected that which gave me a very good judge of his character and who he is.

My question is how did you deal with the differences in your culture and religion? I personally grow up in a multicultural family and my parents used to deal with differences perfectly well but sometimes they weren't at the same page so I wanna know how do you deal with things. 🌸
Aweee thank you!🥰 At first there were some things we needed to work on culturally, mainly me LOL since Canadian are pretty chill. But the main point I’m trying to make is that we all kept an open mind. That’s the most important thing in life in general we feel. I found (James) that Iranian culture is so warm anyways that it’s almost contagious to not go along with it😊

Krystal so sorry we never got a notification on this😞 Not sure if it’s much help now. But anyways we literally kept space in the relationship, no intimacy, we hung out a lot in groups of our friends. Like we weren’t alone a lot of the time. Also Tina made it so there was like no hint or chance I could try to put a move on 😂😂 she kept her distance but in a way not to make me feel bad. Like she wasn’t rude or anything about just made it very clear from the beginning. Then you know there was always a physical attraction but as we gained more respect for each other we were able to approach it logically instead of emotionally you know? Does this make sense?

Hey soo sorry for the late reply!!! I hope we aren’t too late! The best thing is to be honest about it. You don’t want to make a move and ruin something beautiful which you already have. Just have the conversation. Atleast then you will know. If you “make a move” it might not be the right one or well received. Just talk it out. We find people don’t have these conversations anymore. It’s literally what we did was talk😊

I’d be curious to hear about Tina’s transition from thinking of you as a friend to thinking of you as a partner and how those feelings grew? I’m in a relationship now and we started as great close friends and we make really good partners but he has recently told me that his romantic feelings are confused because we started as friends. 🫤
Amazing question! We always had that attraction for each other even though we were friends. The physical attraction never faded. James was never romantic as friends but as we transitioned into being more than friends he started doing more romantic gestures that built more on the romantic side. It was almost like nee relationship even though I knew him so well. Especially since I hadn’t seen that side of him. There’s always pros and cons to being friends first. I know for us since we were friends first we get comfortable being friends sometimes instead of a “couple” so we always have to be mindful of that and do romantic things for each other. Make sense?❤️
