Hi. Can you please do a video of how to caulk indoors? (ei. bathroom sinks, bathtub and kitchen sinks). I also wanted to ask where to apply/use caulking or sealant for indoors. Your videos have been super helpful. I truly appreciate you for sharing. Thank you so much.
Can I apply caulking on the bottom of the wall? Where the 2x4 meets the floor? I noticed a lot of cold air comes through from outside I live in a little shed.
yes you can caulk it, however if the gap is large you should back fill it with either spray foam or backing rod to fill the large gap. Then caulk over it.
@@HDFPainting The gap is very small/tight. But somehow the cold air find its way in it's amazing. I have the caulk in hand now. Never used it before. Can I squeeze it with my hand to get the paste out? Or does it require special tool to inject caulk to area I want to apply?
@@HDFPainting Do I have to use caulking gun? Can I be able to use my own hand to squeeze? I haven't cut the tip yet. I don't have money to buy caulking gun.
@Rockefeller Agent A caulking gun would make the process easier and less messy. But if you don't have one, the first step will be to cut the nozzle/tip at an angle with a knife. Next, you will need a tool or a piece of wood to apply pressure to the back of the caulking tube. As the paste comes out, apply it to the gap. You might have to follow the first application with another because some caulking shrinks when it dries. Hope this is helpful
First use your index finger to set the caulk, then use the damp rag to remove excess and/or smooth out the caulking. You’re wasting a lot of caulk and my time. If you can’t do the job my way, then it’s the Hwy for you buddy!
hi, great video - if caulk brand states 50 year warranty, why do we need to re-caulk the windows?

Excellent! Thank you for sharing!
Very informative! How about the crack between the bottom of stucco wall and concrete ground? Any suggestions?
DAP makes a gray silicone concrete and masonry filler that would work on this joint
Thank you for choosing the ETS2000!
It's a fantastic tool!
