If you like Vietnamese Food .. Garden Grove and Westminster have the best Vietnamese food in all of California in my opinion and their food is very diverse and they also serve Snails like in France..
AAA(asphalt manufacturer) is a deterrent to those who consider moving to irvine, especially north & east part of it. And i'm one of them. Is the city council dealing with it? How far does it make a progress in getting rid of it?
Orange county is 38% white, 34% latino, 23% asian, 2% black, and 4% mixed race...according to the 2020 census. Not exactly sure how accurate it is, but it can't be too far off
As a Blue State liberal, the political representation and government of a potential new home is as important as climate, taxes, crime, and livability. Orange County, by and large, is a septic tank of Republican US House members. A remarkable and notable exception is Katie Porter’s congressional district, CA-47, which includes my personal favorite, Irvine. (Love Shady Canyon!)

6:50 onw malls
9:27 newer
11:50 no public transport
Expensive, over populated, crazies, and the weather isn't as great. No rent control and avoid some areas in the O.C
