I’ve never interacted with a caracal and probably never will get to, but judging by cat standard, it was signaling “why did you stop?” at 6:58 hahaha. Of course, wild animals have different body languages and are incredibly more sensitive to scent, but… at least that’s what my 20 years knowledge living with cats tells me. But major kudos to Andy for not bothering the beautiful animal when it was just doing its thing!
whenever the animal guys brought big cats, the cats would go right over to Andy. there was something about him that the cats liked. that makes me smile.
@@MikaTarkela Yea he did, though the problem is entertainment vs animal documentary. Pretty much all other talk hosts I had seen would not let the animal expert talk at all, Conan mixes it with jokes. I personally think he still talks too much, but it's the best one Ive seen
I love that Conant takes the time to not only let the animal experts talk about their special guests that they bring to the show, but that he truly LISTENS so that he can learn along with the audience. And he obviously has a soft spot for the smaller mammals, it's kind of adorable.
When they are feeding at a carcass and/or defending their food from perceived competition, sure, they can be. However, the vulture in this video wasn’t actually being aggressive and/or displaying “aggressive” body language (open-winged, puffed up stance,…), so I’m not sure why the keeper claimed that. I work with a few non releasable vultures, and they are very intelligent, curious, and playful birds; they like to pull on shoelaces and pants, which some people may initially read as “aggressive,” but is really just play behavior.
@@kolorsoftherainbow4295Maybe he used the word aggressive to mean like “eager” or enthusiastic, but since this is also a wild animal with sick talons and a gregarious personality, he thought it’d be safer to tell Conan to be cautious rather than matching the vulture’s curious energy. idk just spitballing.
@@A_A_J. Jack Hanna (and Jared Miller and pretty much all these guys) participated in what is now illegal underground auctions of exotic animal breeders, and as soon as they got too big to trot out for the talk show circuit, they got sold to shitty, extremely abusive private owners. The animal segments were some of my favorite Conan moments, so it was hard to learn about the exploitative nature of these appearances. Hanna was exposed by a documentary called The Conservation Game in 2021, and by _pure random coincidence,_ his retirement and Alzheimer's diagnosis were announced a day after its film festival premiere. The Columbus Zoo paid for their association with Hanna by losing their accreditation, people were fired or forced into retirement, they changed their position to support the Big Cat Public Safety Act (which became law last December) after Hanna's apparent influence made them oppose it in order to keep these shady practices legal, and they have been trying to put as much distance between themselves and Hanna as possible. Sorry for the bad news, but Jack Hanna's legacy no longer deserves respect.
That little too was so cute just watch out for the camel they spit especially when you don't feed him fast enough,. Monkey shall not lay down with cat 😂 this is why I love this show it's hilarious 🤣
❤ absolutely spectacular❤ thank you so much for sharing this and for free bonus points❤ hopefully you don't mind me sharing on my social media❤ extremely hilarious❤
From the Wild Cat Conservation Center: “The tufts may help keep flies out of the cat's face or help to camouflage the caracal in tall grass by breaking up the outline of the cat's head” From NatGeo: “The tufts may enhance sound going into their ears or be used to communicate-via twitches and other movements-with other caracals.” So, I guess we don’t know but there are some theories. Maybe just to look cooler than cats that don’t 😂
I didn't want to say anything...but.. I too..was raised in a pouch.. In a land far, far away..& still to this day.. ...I mistake microphones for nipples.
This guy doesn't listen to anything the animal experts say... Nobody could get to know anything about any of the animals that are brought in!! Is this only a comedy show??
Andy just starts petting the caracal like it's his own cat!
The Caracal didn't want to deal with Conan so it went over to Andy.

Cats like people who are quiet and calm. Maybe that’s it?
@@aud9851 Also that Andy isn't approaching them. Often cats of any kind like to be in control of interactions.
Andy saying "hi kitty" while petting a jaguar
Both Conan and Andy are so good with animals!
Except that caracal. Wonder if Conan is still bitter about that cat.
the caracal is cute though. I love animals so much@@flyingchong
That baby camel is like a grumpy toddler 😂
Haha, that wallaby was so cute. And that caracal loved Andy. But I've never seen Conan as nervous as he was around that vulture!
Or the camel…😂😂😂
To be fair, that vulture was terrifying 😂
"You into that? Are you kinky?"
Words never spoken to a kangaroo before.
You mustn’t know a lot of Aussies…
Well no, as she's a Wallaby @alec57 😅
And she's a baby Conan is technically a pedo.😬
I lost it when Conan started running away from the camel 😂
Same😂😂
I did the same when I met a camel for the first time and it gave me the side-eye and spat at me 😂 I then had to ride her for a few miles!
The best host there ever is.
And ever will be.
No doubt about it❤
100%❤😅😂
The untouchable Conan
Yea bec the same guests return despite the chaos each time😅
Conan, the only host that actually let the expert talk and interact with the animals.
He kept interrupting the expert many times when he was trying to talk about raising the 2 animals together.
I love, love, love Conan, but he constantly interrupts the animal experts. The guy seemed so frustrated that he didn’t get to share his expertise
@@MikaTarkela Yea he did, though the problem is entertainment vs animal documentary. Pretty much all other talk hosts I had seen would not let the animal expert talk at all, Conan mixes it with jokes. I personally think he still talks too much, but it's the best one Ive seen
That's not true
That camel had perfect comic timing....
"Unfortunately we ran out of carrots..." - "Baaaaa!!"
That baby camel hold a very deep seated grudge against Conan at such a young age and is not gonna forget about it for the rest of her life, lol😂😂😂
Man....I went down the "Conan with animals" rabbit hole really hard
A necessary addition to your life 😊
Welcome, lol
Im on my way as well 😂
Same.
Damn bro, same…
A comedy camel, pure gold.
Still remember that incompetent kid from decades ago.
Conan actually had to save him from his own animals.
I think they made up a bit more colorful character for him.
The camel had me laughing so hard🤣🤣
Other hosts: hide from the animals
Conan: licks their feet
The baby Camel lol 😂
The camel noises were hilarious

Smaller…and fluffier mammals. 😂😂😂
Best show host and sidekick ever
I have lost track of how many times I've already watched this video. I love Conan's interactions with the animals.
The camel tantrum made me laugh so hard
These animals are beyond adorable!
I didn't expect that vulture would be so aggressive.

They steal food from Lions and other apex predators for a living so of course they have to be aggressive to survive.

Conan. Greatest late night host of all time.
Preach!! ❤
Conan was the only host that makes animal segments enjoyable...Others just overreact
Letterman and Jack Hanna… best in the biz, both OG.

He actually wants to interact with the animals too. The others seem like they don’t want to get dirty touching the animals.
@@rammsteinfan1984 that's true too especially Kimmel
That camel knows what he wants
I love that Conan's hair reacted when the vulture came out.
Omg I laughed so hard at the camel 😂
Conan is the ultimate showman!
Love these segments 😀
00:20 Conan’s face after hearing the expert’s explanation totally went “aww!” for a second there! ahahah
0:46 that's a child, Conan!!!
And we never learned why it was good to ask if they were raised together in an apartment
You will if you watch the full segment.
Can anyone reply why here? Feels like too much work to look it up.
bro the camel yellin at this mf 💀💀💀
He is funniest during these wild animal segments. 😂😂😂
It's pretty uncanny how much conan's legs match the back half of the camel
Dear Lord coco is hysterical
The fastest 9 minutes ever
Camel sound reminds me of a dinosaur mixed with a growling cat. “FEED ME. FEED ME, NOOOOOOOOW!”
The camel having a temper tantrum is funny.
Animal expert: Well, now we're out of carrots.
Camel: And I took that personally.
MAKE LATE NIGHT GREAT AGAIN! Bring Back Conan!
That camel was definitely a bit overstimulated by the crowd.
I love that he isn’t obnoxious and going for laughs ignoring the information about these animals like most hosts
I love animals on Conan. I miss it 😂😂😂❤
That little too was so cute just watch out for the camel they spit especially when you don't feed him fast enough,. Monkey shall not lay down with cat 😂 this is why I love this show it's hilarious 🤣
6:32 me with the cat"so, oh love nibles cool."
Damn that vulture was beautiful!
An underrated joke here is ‘he loves everybody I don’t know what it is about you’
“Well he might sense evil”
I watched animal segments of some other hosts but they were embarassing to watch all afraid of all animals. I love seeing Conan holding them all.
Vultures are so cool man
I love the sumbiotic relationship of crows and kangaroos.
ADORABLE baby having a bad day.
6:08 conan is mad for this 😂

A big bird ❤
I love how the animals always go to Andy.
04:24 should have said "how do you like them apples"
I should be a writer
These caretakers have to speak fast enough to explain things, otherwise he will keep cut by Conan
Conan's like a child, screaching and shouting. Graham Norton, Johnathan Ross reign supreme.
Both Conan and baby camel have similar legs
Camels are very personable animals. They're great.
What is the evolutionary advantage of the ear tufts on the caracal?
I believe it's to enhance their hearing somehow. Same with a lynx.
I thought it’s to help them blend in with the tall grass?? I dunno
It makes them look toughter.

That camel is dying for a smoke
I really loved the camel Part 😂
Omg FLOOPA
Aw man.. Ain't he just an adorable little fella? Soft, squishy and with funky hair!
Wait.. That's Conan.
0:16 nom nom😂 4:57 oh my Lord both of them are cute
If you wanna feel around in there
It's been 9 months since you commented that. Now would be the time to feel around in there and make sure we get the baby out 😂

Could you do animals on summer s'mores? You know, some silent ones?
How DOES Andy know how to speak camel? Hahaha
Ah conan just inventing the word sadge

He was so funny with a great personality! Bring the talent back and stop with the political cry babies!
Nah keep the excellent political guest reminding us we face the forces of evil. The only crybaby is you.
"in real life"? They do realize that this is real life, right?😕

Yes, it’s just a comedy show.
