Like, you don't take your eyes off it for a second because they can whip around with lighting speed and bite. There's no way it had venom (or possibly even fangs). I'm 43 and I've never seen an animal segment on a talk show go off without a hitch. In fact, I watched this one back in 2000 and was just dying laughing during the whole thing. Working with kids and animals is always semi-controlled chaos.
Isn't that why they do these? For the reactions?
The joke he made about him being 45 years old, well I googled the guy and guess what! He is 45 years old now LMAO
Jared, the animal expert's facial expression 7:11 😂💀 Thank God the other handler was there. Could you imagine if that kangaroo went for the audience members?
Yes I can. It would’ve been awesome
"Nope."
-Jordan Peele
No need to be scared of an animal defeated simply by lifting its tail.
@@Vexas345it has sharp claws and could at the very least strike anyone before they react.
someone in that audience wouldve boxed that kangaroo up. lol@@vergil1155
5:27 the kangaroo was like “Jarod… Jarod… it’s Conan. Omfg, it’s Conan”
Conan's humor isn't really my humor but I still watch him all the time. Something about him just has me always coming back
yeah, he looked like he might have gotten hurt, and then was a little upset after the kangaroo got away from him, but every single time this guy came on the show it was always an absolute riot and made for incredible television.
I love how as soon as the kangaroo shows up, Andy is like, 'I'm just going over the couch, laters!'
it had so much incidents but the kangaroo incident was totally the name for it
As the lion runs off. “That was a lion so” 😂
6:54 😶 Can't beat that logic...
Conan: [DONE!!!]
That closeup after Jarod makes the venom joke.. genius.
Conan was always refreshing with the animal segments, he didnt pretend to be scared of every single animal for the camera, only the ones you'd actually think were dangerous or creepy, and even then he doesnt run a mile and stays engaged
3:48 that slow zoom on conan always kills me LMAO
If I was the camera man I’d be thrilled you noticed my comedic timing lol
So pleased that Jarod still works as a zoologist. As chaotic and funny as his appearances were he was full of cool facts and you can tell he loves his animals.
he wasn't gonna cry, he was tired from both explaining AND handling dangerous, energetic animals. he's more worried how close he got to getting a lawsuit 😭
I share the sentiment of others. Late Night with Conan was truly a one of a kind television show that is dearly missed.
So sweet the way the African Lion burrows right into Andy’s lap❤
Conan was very brave. Every other late night host would've left the building.
He only made 12:30 money, so he NEEDED that 12:30 money!😂
I feel like he wanted to do it as well as Carson did.
Poor bugger was nearly crying at the end. Good on Conan to recognise and save him "next time you come on". Good heart.
I love how comforting andy is to the big kitty... ❤️ ❤❤... It's like instinct sure will even know that animal could probably screw him up. He's just a baby and he's looking for comfort. And andy just like, picks up on it...
That is just bonkers that a venomous rattle snake was that close to Conan and actually struck at him! I cannot believe that happened! 😱
and he put his freaking hand right in front of it (3:05)
this could've gone pretty bad :D
Live in Florida . Human Male has about 20-30 minutes to receive anti-venom before Breathing will begin to Cease, These Reptiles are no Joke.
It had to be de-venomed. There's no way a guest would be allowed to put anyone in that kind of danger.
@@shanedoe3462 I'm not sure, those were still the wild days. Either way he could've got bitten, which is not pleasant to say the least
@@the_original_dude Yeah, but there's no way the producers would have allowed a DEADLY snake onto Conan's desk. It's akin to pointing a loaded gun at someone's head. I've worked with venomous reptiles and even opening the enclosure to feed them requires two people to be there, a refrigerator with anti-venin on premises and a strict protocol of paying attention to what you're doing. Like, you don't take your eyes off it for a second because they can whip around with lighting speed and bite. There's no way it had venom (or possibly even fangs). Pouring a rattle snake on someone's desk (who wasn't even prepared) is attempted murder. Also, the enclosure he had it in was just a Rubbermaid container. A snake can pop those lids off very easily. Transporting venomous snakes is dangerous business. There's just no way it was venomous.
Conan saved his life that day😂. And animals seem to like Andy very much.
Jarod’s face is priceless at the end
I bet those animals get really anxious with Conan's loud screams.
5:54 Andy's face lmao
Man, Conan is the best. He was really nervous after the incident and Conan assured him everything was fine inviting him back.
The second the lid came off of the rattlesnake box Andy was out of there lol
Jarod looks like he's about to cry towards the end. Don't blame him though- that segment really got away from him.
No it didn't. People are so gullible.
@@the406seadonkey6 What are you saying? That the whole segment was staged? Even the unpredictability of wild animals? Really?
@@the406seadonkey6okay, I'll trust you stranger, since I'm not gullible like you, I will abide by your word
@@delilh325 Blow me, smart ass. You aren't as bright as you think you are.
he's playing along
2:18 UNDERRATED 😂😂
So was that a real venomous rattlesnake that almost bit both of them? 😂😂😂😂 what the hell were they thinking
When the Kangaroo takes his collar off you can actually hear Conan going "oh fffffff..."
looked up this guy's age after he joked that he was 45, and he is 45 now
Conan is a Hero.
Conan’s come such a long way with his comfort on set. He was still funny back then but after years of experience his timing really got a lot better.
Conan: "You're an animal expert?"
Jarod: fuckin' right.
😂😂😂
"Is he trying to have sex with you?!" LOL! 🤣
Love the way that Conan pulled the guy back to rescue him. lol
6:24 shout out to conan for lifting the guy behind the couch so he would not get kicked anymore
I really want to hear from Andy about this. Dude is just holding a raging Kangaroo on a leash with "Monday morning" face like he's never been more done with show business 😂
Both Andy and Conans reactions to the Kangaroo are hilarious. Especially Andy just walking on the couch to step over it lmao
There was nothing like the entertaining chaos of 90's-00's Conan. The show had no budget, but they got hilarity and often insanity out of what they did have, like getting an animal handler who clearly isn't very good at handling animals and judging from his age may have been in high school. 😂
This is actually really well done, no animals hurt but still a hint of danger and chaos sprinkled with sarcastic humor
2:57 "Hey buddy " 💀🐍 😂
I love how naturally funny Conan is, really quick-witted and sharp.
Every time I see Conan in a wild animal segment I say out loud "calm down dude" lmao, but this time Conan got to save Jarod
i got so anoyed with the awkwardness of Conan handling the monkey but later i realized he was in perfect character to fit the overall theme of chaos 😂😂
what awkwardness?
