Pretty sure this is the first time ever I've seen a D-Swat pointed at a Flusterstorm copy. It's also the second time ever I've seen a D-Swat pointed at a Flusterstorm copy.
Game one was a really good example of naus decks and their ability to pop off. Good plays all around. Game two was a prime example of why you DONT FEED THE FISH
As someone who plays Malcom/ Vial Smasher. Im always happy to see it do well. That win in two turns was spicy as all hell. Not to mention having counter spell back up, well played!
Great vid guys! The amount of consistent quality content that you all post is both entertaining to watch and very helpful for upping my cEDH game. 10/10
Am I misunderstanding how Guild Artisan background works? Narration says the attack is against Kyle (at 37 life) but Kevin is at 40 so wouldn't it not trigger?
Curious as to what Jay Praetor's Grasped in game 1, he had possible 4 mana turn 1 and then drew a land which meant he could AdNaus on turn 2 if he drew a land, which apparently he did. Might not that have been a better line?
They've explained this one a few times: they use the same cards for many decks, so the colored dot stickers signal which decks the card belongs to so they can quickly grab them.
That second game shows that sometimes playing aggressively and letting an opponent draw can lead to victory, the funny thing is that of the player who did it didnt end up with the win cuz they got stopped or something, there would be alot of players who would try to say oh he king made the remora player cuz they drew x amount of cards, but they were trying to win sooooooo I think it's good, any thoughts?
Even _if_ Jay got stopped, I wouldn't call it "kingmaking." He wasn't colluding with Kyle nor anyone else, and it was a sound call to go for it while everyone else was tapped out. It is part of a multi-player game for players to incidentally give advantages to others. People who call "kingmaking" are usually just complaining because they're salty about a particular outcome.
I think I’ve seen this before, basically instead of buying 3 copies of a card, he sleeves all of his decks in the same sleeves and the dots indicate which are in which deck. So he could just take all of the red dots out of his card carrying mechanism and assemble a deck, and doesn’t have to dismantle a deck to play a different one just because he doesn’t want to resleeve all of the $200+ cards required in every deck
Nope! Technically Opposition Agent allows that because the card isn’t letting you search the opponents library, it’s letting you temporarily control them while they search their library. Since you are controlling them (think Mindslaver or Emrakul but only for the duration of a search), you are allowed access to their hidden information. Praetors grasp is you searching yourself, which is technically slightly different.
That first game is the perfect culmination of what his deck wants to do, lololol that's the cedh high we keep looking for lololol my personal rush is winning on top of another persons win attempt
Pretty sure they're used to indicate expensive cards that are in multiple decks. Like if you've only got one Dockside Extortionist, but run it in 3 decks, it'd have 3 different stickers on the sleeve to tell you what 3 decks it's in, in case you want to play a different one.
@@charlesjohn3635 ah that makes a lot sense. I definitely saw pattern based on the colors and that certain colors were consistent with certain locations on the side of the card
Solid cards, great game! But there’s something I can’t help but ponder, on the second game on Jay’s Turn (Turn#3), wouldn’t Kevin not have drawn from the wheel? Because he picked the lowest and the text on WoM says “…each player who DIDN’t pick the LOWEST NUMBER discards and draws…”, therefore leaving him with the lowest pick, and Jay taking damage with the highest pick. I hope someone notices this, im trying to learn each keywords on edh bit by bit :(( tysm
8:51 he shouldn’t have made treasures there. Kevin had the most life not Kyle. Anyway, that card is too risky. You must wait to attack with rog and it’ll usually die and then you can’t cast your other free spells like fierce guardianship or deflecting swat.
ugh.....I think this video is kinda awkward. It doesn't be as awesome as the past few videos but doesn't have any flaw. Just another daily normal cEDH gameplay.
9:00 wouldn't Jay have to attack Kevin to get the treasures with guild artisan? Since Kevin has the most life?
yeah saw that too and was confused

That turn two win almost didn't happen. Should've pitched the Orchard to Diamond instead of Bloodstained Mire
I should yell at my son
Dad?

At 7:00 couldn't have he used the second swat to point the fluster storm to worldly tutor to counter both spells?
Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't do that!
Love to see 2 games in 10 minutes. I am looking to try out Rog/Si, so very informative.
Look at the epic storm list
Kyle drew like a billion cards and never found a single bit of interaction prior to that grand abolisher???? Wow!
Am I misunderstanding how Guild Artisan background works? Narration says the attack is against Kyle (at 37 life) but Kevin is at 40 so wouldn't it not trigger?

he should have seen that glinthorn was in hand and gotten a counter.... misplay
Oh that game two Mnemonic Betrayal was clutch. I just switched from Dimir to Grixis (RogSi) so this game was very helpful!
Anyone know what marking stickers they’re using for their cards?
What are the small dots on some of the cards?
They've explained this one a few times: they use the same cards for many decks, so the colored dot stickers signal which decks the card belongs to so they can quickly grab them.
What did he praetors grasp for?? Game 1
Good case example for what a ridiculous mistake the free commander cycle spells are.
When the flusterstorm was redirected a second time, why not direct that copy at the Worldly Tutor? Neither could pay the 1 mana, right?

Good games. And it's too early for pumpkin spice! Lol
What do the dots on the sleeves mean on Jay's cards?
I think I’ve seen this before, basically instead of buying 3 copies of a card, he sleeves all of his decks in the same sleeves and the dots indicate which are in which deck. So he could just take all of the red dots out of his card carrying mechanism and assemble a deck, and doesn’t have to dismantle a deck to play a different one just because he doesn’t want to resleeve all of the $200+ cards required in every deck
It means he uses them in other decks. Each deck has it's own color, and the dots on the sleeves represent what decks they slot into
I’m curious as to what the card gotten through Praetors Grasp was
I'm going to praetors grasp instead of ad nausing turn 2??? Tf
Does praetor's grasp works like opposition agent? The action of searching into an opponent's library allow me to see his/her hand?
Nope! Technically Opposition Agent allows that because the card isn’t letting you search the opponents library, it’s letting you temporarily control them while they search their library. Since you are controlling them (think Mindslaver or Emrakul but only for the duration of a search), you are allowed access to their hidden information. Correct, Kevin didn't draw. The other three players did.
wheres the spice dog?
Game one could have been preventet by Jay's praetors grasp
Out of curiosity how are the views now that you’re not advertising the decks?
Better
Very entertaining
Bro that Malcolm hand game 1 wtf
8:51 he shouldn’t have made treasures there. Kevin had the most life not Kyle.

I use the Flusterstorm to destroy the Flusterstorm.
ACK boys wya
Nice
Magic
10% of this video is an ad lmao
Lmao
When I look at all Najeela's textbox it makes my eye twitch. At least make her cost WUBRG, come on.
Battlebond is from 2014, and I guess they didn't really design for Commander back then. Although the first Commander precons came out in 2011...
In b4 ne1

“Pumpkin Spice” seems like a correct Title for this video then lol.
What is Alan's playmat? The rodent party looks really good lol.
