I recently found a very small secret scene involving "Money Lending and Other Sins - III" and "We Loved Once and True - I". The later unlocks once "Money Lending and Other Sins - II" and "Paying a Social Call" completes. However, if Arthur reads the letter, a short cut scene with Strauss happens and a conversation about Downes, and "Money Lending and Other Sins - III" is force started (Arthur must complete it before starting any other mission or sleeping) ua-cam.com/video/uhH3ak_joaM/v-deo.html
In one of my playthroughs I also had Dutch tell me to go help Strauss who was a few yards away and an extra voice line plays with Dutch saying "Arthur here will help you"
@@snarlymocha325 As far as I can tell, there's no reason to force it at this point. Nothing in the We Loved Once and True mission strand refers to his TB.
Can I mention one missable in Chapter 1? During mission "Old Friends", you can acquire Micah's revolver earlier. I can confirm this worked for me in my last playthrough; you just have to disarm one of the O'Driscolls so he pulls out a knife and lead him towards Micah, then there's a chance he'll attack him, knocking the revolver from his hand.
Also during “old friends” if you loot enough supplies you can walk to Wallace station using health tonics and food you looted and you can save Arthur’s winter coat zipped up by going into the wardrobe in the general store

Hah! I'm just finishing up chapter 2 right now. Missed to leave the antique watch for myself and just now learned about the bolt action rifle but otherwise I'm all set. Collecting pelts for the satchel and dodging Downes for the moment...
You can still get the bolt action early, you have to kill the Valentine sheriff during a hanging but make sure he doesn’t spot you cause he will switch from the bolt action to a repeater
I think Perfect Pelts is different for everyone. Got the Panther easy, but been killed by the Cougar 4 times! It's the last one I need! None of the YT videos I watched helped.
@@Will-Max Bow and arrow helped me so much. With guns it will automatically double tag sometimes but you can only take once with a bow and arrow. Once you're in dead eye just immediately focus on the head. Stay on your horse and walk slowly in the spawn area.

Missable content in RDR2 is literally the worst thing in this game, especially for a perfectionist. The video shows not everything that can be missed (in particular, missable items and freeroam events)
You can get Calloway's Revolver early in chapter 2. When Arthur done the cutscene with the writer and Calloway in the small saloon, wait for a knife game to appear IN the saloon. Sit down to play the knife game and you can see both the writer and Calloway walks out of the saloon. Immediately quit the knife game and go to Calloway. Put on a bandana. Shoot near his leg maybe a couple times. And he will be terrified and run. Make sure he is hostile and draw his gun out. With that just run up to him and push him down (press F). You will see his gun is now on the ground, you can press Tab to switch your gun with Calloway's Revolver. There you have it! "Canis Canem Edit" Calloway's Revolver early on chapter 2! Happy trails, partner!
There’s one other missable item in the mission to rescue Sean. After you get to the top of the cliff, instead of following behind Charles and Javier, cut to the right and go to the spot where Charles was struggling with the bounty hunter. On the ground you can pick up the bounty hunter’s machete, which is otherwise never buyable until chapter 6.
She reloads that double-barrel like it's nothing, seemed even faster than Arthur or John do. A female, German John Wick lol. I also love how Javier says he'll teach you how to make those poisoned knives then just takes the oleander and walks off to leave knives at your tent later instead of showing Arthur like he said lmao.
I know everyone will chew me out for this, but i like the voiceover. I can listen to this in the car now, or when I'm falling asleep, or if the mythical time between calls at work. I like it.
This video would have been sooo good but its just unwatchable with the voice overs.. and its not just your channel i dont think any rdr vidoes with similar content (details, missable items, hidden dialogue, etc) should have any commentary, it takes away from the beauty of the game. Thats what made the older videos you put out ahead of everyone else. I love the channel and ill stay subscribed and keep an eye out for videos in the futre without the voice overs 🤕 such a bummer.
documentation of all of this game's many encounters and scenarios and various events, is perfect and to do so in direct analysis of whats' limited or missable is greater
I just ran into something I've never seen in my previous plays or any video. At the ball of the Saint Denis mayor's house with Angelo Bronte, you can go off with Dutch and listen to a conversation about the riverboat poker game. also, if you were to head to the other side of the party, you can save Algernon Wasp from choking, who then introduces himself. There may be more I didn't get to.
In robbing Shemus's cousin, check the chimney "before" you go up and get $150. THEN, when you threaten Bob Crawford, he'll tell you about ANOTHER $150 stash. (Be sure to loot the whole house too)
Cant help but feel like editing quality went down, the AI voice is nice because i like to eat while i watch and cannot always read subtitles, but its still very jarring, and id almost rather not have it
It's funny, in that house robbery mission with Javier, you can hear Arthur coughing, which is apparently the first signs of his TB. But I played this mission way BEFORE collecting the debt from Downes, so technically my Arthur shouldn't have TB yet. Maybe it was just really dusty in that shed?? 😂

i love the smoothness of the raw videos, i mean watching and remembering rdr2, without loud music or cut parts, just the complete scene then your voice is an introduction for the next scene, your work is simply sublime, I would even say it's kinda ASMR, keep it up.
Saludos desde México!
I think you are purposefully doing this ai shit to make us appreciate the perfection we had before
Wow🙄
"My lord.... You're old" I thought he was talking to Abigail.💀
The rarest of occasions is Susan not bugging Arthur every time he appears in camp
In one of my playthroughs I also had Dutch tell me to go help Strauss who was a few yards away and an extra voice line plays with Dutch saying "Arthur here will help you"
This must be because his TB is canon right? I mean the story would change if he just skipped the downes mission
@@snarlymocha325 As far as I can tell, there's no reason to force it at this point. Nothing in the We Loved Once and True mission strand refers to his TB.
whoa I've played through this SO MANY times and had no clue you could threaten the guy during the hosea robbery mission
this game is so amazing lol
I'm staying in chapter 2 and it feels great
me too, and I'm not collecting the Downes debt this time either :P
@@zibberebbizat a point the game literally makes you go see Mr Downs.
@@zibberebbizwhy not collect it?
@@SlabbyMessbecause it’s the start of the end
did you break Micah outta jail?
I have the game 50% complete and still have not visited Tomas Downie to get the debt and TB
Also during “old friends” if you loot enough supplies you can walk to Wallace station using health tonics and food you looted and you can save Arthur’s winter coat zipped up by going into the wardrobe in the general store
this is the sort of content ive been searching for since completing my 2nd run..i think i finally want to try and complete this game and all the challenges for the first time ever in my gaming career and this will go a long way to help that! appreciate you and i’ve subscribed to see the future uploads/chapters!
This video being voiced throw me of guard.
I gotta say the ai voice is just not it. It just makes the videos feel bad qualitywise which they are not
Shamus happily reminding us "it's by marriage"
There another item request from pearson its a compas he will ask you this when you play poker at the camp in chapter 2
love the content, but it was better silent than with the AI voice
Nah it wasn't, works both ways just fine.
@@SliceIceNDice you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else :)
The abrupt cut between “Jack will ask for a thimble” then immediately barging into a house to slaughter some hicks was so hectic 8:52
Loving the voice over! Love to just sit back and listen at night! It’s tougher to do that at night with your older ones. Your channel so do what you like, but I LOVE the narration man!! Keep up the always awesome content!!
You can steal the Bolt Action from the Sheriff in Valentine at a public hanging or any other time you see him equipped with it
@@stinkyonionbreath I tried arrow to the head with a three star, and the animal ended up a 2 star. So you ride your horse right into the corral?
@@Will-Max I ride it down the cougar spawn path in west elizabeth. also helps to have the buck antler trinket. like a lot.
When already taken the money from the chimney he will answer "In the dresser".
Chelonians: join me
Arthur: no i was just leaving 💀
3:45 if you check the chimney first you can get money from under his bed
I didn't threaten him .. (thinking it would be a mission failure)
After all I think the one of the goals was to remain .. undetected..
Threatening the guy would hardly be.. undetected 😂
Honestly.. missed opportunity to use an ai voice of The Strange Man.
True
Now the channel will be called Strange Kids!
Excellent video, as always, but not fan at all of the IA voice ... 😕
Those voices are annoying
, idk why people are ashamed to use there God given voice. 🤦🏻♂️ it’s like they have personal problems 🤦🏻♂️
This kind of video makes me wanna play the story all over again
unintentional asmr lmaoo
The Charles Bison and Javier Robbery mission can actually both be done in Chapter 3 if you miss them in Chapter 2
A joy for those who want to complete it 100%
Arthur to Abigail -
"You're old"
Abigail - "Haha lmao you got 5 dollars?"
Really don’t like the AI…
Me neither. I hate it.
Sick video but idk about the ai voice lol
No matter how many times I play this masterpiece, there will always be missable content no matter what. Such a great game up to this day.
I had Mrs Downs come to camp in one play through
She reloads that double-barrel like it's nothing, seemed even faster than Arthur or John do.
I like it.
"NO, I was JUST leavin'..."
(Continues to stand there)
Miss old videos without voice😢
2:06 “Please don’t bother the other guests”
_How about I do anyway?_
- Bill Wurtz
This video would have been sooo good but its just unwatchable with the voice overs.. and its not just your channel i dont think any rdr vidoes with similar content (details, missable items, hidden dialogue, etc) should have any commentary, it takes away from the beauty of the game. Thats what made the older videos you put out ahead of everyone else. I love the channel and ill stay subscribed and keep an eye out for videos in the futre without the voice overs 🤕 such a bummer.
I’m so mad at myself that I missed getting the Jean jacket
documentation of all of this game's many encounters and scenarios and various events, is perfect and to do so in direct analysis of whats' limited or missable is greater
It may lead into a new cut scene introduction to Algernon's missions... not sure myself.
No a.1 voiceover strange man reading your vids make them Morse mysterious matches your style more
$5 in 1899 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $185.79 today, an increase of $180.79 over 125 years.
Abigail better put out or get out
Is there any way to watch your vids with no commentary 😊
If you're gonna' use voices in these from now on, would you try and get one that sounds like the Strange Man from the games? =)
Definitely prefer and rather hear the strange mans voice from the game instead
That Porter ranch could be a perfect camp spot for the gang. I still find it weird that they fled south and east until the end.
Your videos were better without the AI voice and the weird girl. This channel being Strange Man, no commentary created a more mysterious vibe.
Im sure this has been said before but you should do one of these for ever chapter! i loved this kind of video!
AI Voice is a great addition in my opinion
My first play through, Arthur had a mustache the whole time. Replaying it again as a clean shaven guy. Feels like an entirely different story 😂
love ur vids but please dont use AI voice anymore . love u ❤
Arthur: * About to give five bucks to Abigail. *
Miss Grimshaw: “I’mma stop you right there.”
