We're working with both cotton and polyester, and also some blends. Yes, the CAD-CU Adhesive can be cut on the Cricut.

What’s the machine called that print out the cad cut adhesive sheet?
Hi, will the adhesive vinyl only work with foil? I'd love to do the distressed look, but not necessarily the foil all the time. Thanks.
The clear adhesive only works with the foil.

I'm just starting out. What is the difference between Foil Transfer paper and Vinyl Heat Transfer paper?
I love this process better, but is there a difference and what about the amount of washes using this?

The difference is this: When using foil the adhesive is cut and ironed on then, the foil is laid over that adhesive to adhere. (As shown above) With transfer paper: you use patterned HTV, that HTV is cut with your Cricut, weeded, then, you'd lay transfer paper over it to grab the design before ironing that onto your t-shirt. Did I explain it so you could understand it? Keep working and trying things....It took me a ton of videos and trying stuff before I figured it all out. It takes time and experimentation! LOL. Good luck and remember to have some fun.
I'm confused about how to do distressed with only one color. Since you have to go back over it to fill the voids won't using the same color take away that distressed look? I do like the effect of only one color....
It will still keep the distressing impressions on the adhesive.
Will this same process work on another DIY machine, like the cricut maker and its accompanying easy press machine?
I don't see why it wouldn't. They do the same thing as the cutter and press that she's using. I'm sure you'd had to apply more pressure because you're using an easy press

Hey thanks for the question! Both are great options. Currently we have a wider variety of colors and effects available in our heat transfer foil collection. Plus, there are different effects you can achieve with foil, such as the distressed look by crumpling the foil before applying it. Let us know if you have any other questions about either type of htv!
I pressed the adhesive for the foil a few days ago and forgot to press my foil; is the adhesive for the foil not good anymore?
If you heat it up again it should still stick - as long as it wasn't already laundered.

how does the foil hold up being washed and dried?
Hi Jamie. Foil isn't as durable as HTV. Typically the foil is good for 25 washes but can last longer if gentle cold cycles and hang drying.
Does it need to be room temp when you peel?
Foil is a cold peel, so we recommend waiting until there is no heat left in the garment.

Do you have to use a cutting machine?

Nice but i wonder how it will look after been in the washing machine a few time. Still very nice !
The foils last up to 25 washes, but they become a little low-luster after a few washes. Not as bright and shiny.

With the CAD-CUT Adhesive you would mirror your design, yes.
if you have a pen in your machine... do the pen first.. then put the cutter in... the pen will show where the weeding line should be.
