Congrats Misha. You should fully paint protect it if BMW will let you buy it afterwards. Satin/Matte paint is extremely difficult to correct when damaged.
That's a bit harsh but a man that drives the ring for a living yes it's going to see hard ware and tear and bmw are pretty smart so they know this. But the fact that they build a car that Misha chooses to drive is an accomplishment and one just saved his life or almost ended it I suppose its hard to know for sure.

I'm dayling my Z4 e85 and I'm heavily modifying it. Just did the engine, next will be headlights, airbox, body kit and in the future brakes, rear subframe, diff, fuel pump,... It's my toy too, and it's doable
start with brakes, simply more important then headlights, fuel pump and diff after, gotta make sure you don't get into a situation where you loose the car due to brake failure or not enough brake power

Misha, I am still stunned, incredibly impressed, and blown away by how perfectly safe that BMW kept you two (relative to the reality of the crash) after you went into that barrier wall at such a serious rate of speed. I have been sharing that video quite a bit to show folks how the doors actually opened and closed normally after that crash and once they realize how fast you were actually moving, it shocks everyone. I’ve always loved BMW’s for sure. But watching that video seriously cemented my faith in the safety of BMW cars. Some folks may not fully appreciate the gravity of the 2 facts that were brilliantly clear being 1. the doors still opened normally, and 2. the engine didn’t move into the cabin through the firewall AT ALL. But I sure as hell do, lol!!! Amazing!!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻

You said the daily needs to stay a daily.... The carbon ceramic brake kit is literally only useful for track usage. The brake performance is noticeably worse on cold mornings for example since you really do need to get a bit of heat going before they start working. The M Steel Brakes are much better suited for road driving, since you need track driving to actually overheat them.
If they tell you to option it however you want and that you’re not paying for it, the logical choice is to choose every expensive option. I think he forgot the full leather pack, so almost there
True that ceramics are less desirable for cold daily drives, but the amount of time this touring will see on track will more than make up for the shortcomings. Ceramics also aren't that bad for daily use and it is very easy to compensate for their "lack" of performance when cold. Biggest gripe would be noise... but with a car like this who cares.

Do full ppf especially with it being Matt you, chips and scratches stand out way more and they can’t be fixed or touched up like glossy paint, being full ppf is a lot less stressful when you hear a rock clip the paint on the car
Love that frozen purple! You are dead on, the interior is fine in contrast to the exterior. I like the two tone interior myself and have looked at a bunch of used Porsches with red interiors but this one is really tasteful and has an elegance to it, but is still Motorsport in style and function. Looking forward to this series of vlogs about this car!

I've had a purple car. I've had red interior. Never have combined it and you make a good point that with most modern luxury cars the outside color doesn't intrude on the inside. Still, like them individually, find them horribly clashing on this.
New cars, especially luxury cars, should have to come with a full tank of gas. It's absurd how brands nickel and dime you on a couple of liters of gas, especially on cars that can take ten years to fully pay.
I am corious, about how the car perform in complete daily situations like parkinghouse with ramps inside, with luggage in the back, when u go to the airport/driving in hollidays... how the paint holds on in the carwash, what Kind of problems u had with the car, fuel consuption...

Imo PPF The entire car it will save the frosted clear from scratches. it almost no way to notice the ppf even on the frosted clear coat and if you get some scratches it’s not possible to fix like typical gloss
I would love to see how blinkers work in modern BMW cars. I guess they have some kind of turn indicators both in the instrument cluster and outside but I haven't ever seen one in action. From this video I could figure out that there are two stalks behind the steering wheel but what's the purpose of the left one is still unclear to me.
Great looking car! I do like the outside color but would have preferred Aventurin Red Metallic with the red interior. I wish the wagon M3 was available here in the States! My only quiver is the front wheel gap, maybe the front has height adjustment? if not, too much wheel gap which is not like BMW to overlook.

Germany in general has a problem with over-regulation. Everything needs to be ruled and specified. Can't wash your car at home, can't install an split AC yourself, can't work on your cars AC legally, can't mod shit without having yourself or the producer doing extensive tests (safety, durability, loudness, emissions etc). It's a hell if you're trying to obey every law. Wich many just give up on.
Google Gledring trunk mats and get the doggy mat extension that covers the entire bumper when you unroll it. The extension mat is also detachable. Don't think PFF will handle the dog nails and multiple dog entry attempts.

Is the touring any more comfortable than the saloon? G80 M3 Comp is the only car I've had to return due to harsh suspension.

I would love to see how blinkers work in modern BMW cars. I guess they have some kind of turn indicators both in the instrument cluster and outside but I haven't ever seen one in action. From this video I could figure out that there are two stalks behind the steering wheel but what's the purpose of the left one is still unclear to me.

Great looking car! I do like the outside color but would have preferred Aventurin Red Metallic with the red interior. I wish the wagon M3 was available here in the States! My only quiver is the front wheel gap, maybe the front has height adjustment? if not, too much wheel gap which is not like BMW to overlook.

The BMW person was right to check, the purple is stunning, the red inside is ok... ish, the contrast is horrendous.

As an American, I just googled the car washing laws of Germany….and I’m blown away. So thankful to live in the country I do. That’s so incredibly ridiculous. Wish they cared abt the environment when they were burning my great grand father.

Germany in general has a problem with over-regulation. Everything needs to be ruled and specified. Can't wash your car at home, can't install an split AC yourself, can't work on your cars AC legally, can't mod shit without having yourself or the producer doing extensive tests (safety, durability, loudness, emissions etc). It's a hell if you're trying to obey every law. Wich many just give up on.
Google Gledring trunk mats and get the doggy mat extension that covers the entire bumper when you unroll it. The extension mat is also detachable.
Don't think PFF will handle the dog nails and multiple dog entry attempts.

The purple e36 is my favourite. I love this one also, but with the white interior it would be amazing.
How do you like the car overall compared to other bmw's? I'm honestly not that sold on the G80 series, as a bmw tech I drive these almost daily.
