Please for the love of God, try your hardest to keep Mike and Tim for as long as possible. i know you understand how big of an asset having them on the team is, not even just with building stuff, but the ability to shoot these vlogs while youre gone and make them informative and engaging.

The Senna was bought with Damon's personal money instead of investing in stocks, property etc. Any money from selling it will go back into his own account and not DDE.
Tell me you didn't watch the vlog without telling me you didn't watch Mike explain custom stuff takes time so throwing money at it won't help 🙄

All I can think about watching these videos with Mike Essa is how much he’s going to break our heart when he leaves DDE in two years, him on this channel makes this channel superior even over the top shows for mainstream TV…he is such a brilliant natural in front the camera, so intelligent, so polished & poised, such a great communicator to the viewers of this channel, comes across so humble and so endearing…we absolutely love this guy and his knowledge of building race cars, and with that knowledge, the ability to backwards engineer manufactured, supercars…losing someone like him will be a waste if & when he leaves us for sailboats.

the Senna is Damons personal investment car that is bought and paid for, do you not remember the vids leading up to buying it and the money will never go on dde, and mike is retiring to sail around the world with his family so he's stacking funds before he goes.

He has other plans for his life with his family, sailing around the world.
Whether the Senna stays or goes, whether they have the money or not, Mike is still leaving when that 2 years is up.
This channel is so much better than it used to be, ill take build content over getting pulled over content all day, every day... building supercars is something nobody else is really doing on the regular on youtube! And in no way, shape, or form should the Senna be sold. These people are just impatient...
I love it when the boss takes some time off the tools to give us a full shop update, Would be awesome if he could convince his employees to drop the Senna... to fund the cooler projects!
The Twin Turbo F12 is the most anticipated DDE Build, it would really help if you managed to get it moving along, i personally can't wait to see the final product

The senna is more of a personal investment rather than for the channel. He's hoping it increases in value to thus sell it.

@@ZoiidBurg I think when damon damages the McKaren and fixes it, thats 3/4 of the fleet sold. They put half a million down and with insurance payments are 100k a month. A month lol 1 car lol... Theres always some issue down the line.

Difference between the story channel and the main channel is the quality of the video…that’s it.
They stated from the start the stories channel is mostly filmed with iPhones and excess content from the main vids. Main vlogs are filmed with the fancy camera

Going this detailed into building the F12 is insane. Now i'd imagine this is a similar process that engineers go through when building super car engines. Mikes knowledge is priceless!!
Everyone hating on the senna but forgetting DDE is a business. I’m sure Damon has a plan with it. Potentially keeping it for the value to go up and make a profit to fund other projects. It’s a long term play and is also a hyper car that is good for the brand.

Honestly the Senna is cool. But the capital its eaten and still eats in payments could be used to get all the other project cars up and running. Personally I'd much rather see the Bentley build, Tims car, the F12 and all the other projects up and moving, hell even Mikes AMG would be a hella cool build too see.

I was looking for someone to comment on this. Yup. But they got an extra playback and watch time, so it really just helped them.
Mike legit could take over the channel for a couple months at a time and viewership may go UP while Damon and Dave are gone. He brings a fresh excitement for the builds as well as knowledge that he shares in a way that anybkdy could understand
If this was the only car you worked on I would be absolutely hooked. Mike Essa is so easy to watch on the Tv and every time I see a new F12 episode I’m cheered up. I know everyone loves the other cars but there’s just something about the cross between Ferrari and Mikes love for motorsport that really comes through.
I think you guys should really look into doing a resto-mod.

From the real DDE fam and fans, thanks for taking the time to update everyone on the status of the builds. Any real car person knows things happen and they never get built by the deadline. It's a slow process if you want it built right the first time. To all the Senna haters it's an investment just like the CGT. The 720GTR is sick AF but it will never be a Senna and will never come close to the potential return on their investment.
lol the way DDE rips the Sh&% out of their car, I don't think anyone will pay TOP dollar.. They will get just a bit more than what they paid..
@aqd84 that's just not true at all. Yes, they thrash on their cars but before they sell them they do any repairs and maintenance that's required they also keep up with repairs. Look at the SVJ they just dropped 60k on a new trans. They typically always make money on every vehicle they sell they talked about it in the past ppl will pay for DDE vehicles.
