To have an employer that recognizes an employee is being overworked and gives him paid time off is, well what more companies should do. Hats off gentlemen for taking care of your staff. Hopefully Mark comes back refreshed and being the person we love to see.
Getting paid time off is mandatory here in Europe. Its crazy to me that it's so uncommon in america

These comments are blowing my mind... Here in Australia a full time employee gets a minimum 4 weeks paid leave and 10 days sick leave every year. Some companies offer more.

@daviddempsey2546 paid vacation is a thing but every company and person and how they view it is different. Mark is young and it sounds like he was starting to burn out a bit and dde recognized it and told him to go home and rest. I'm sure it's much harder to take pto when your job is youtube as well.

Mark and Sean fit in with the group and glad to hear they’re still gonna be around. Mark deserves time off especially since working for you guys.
I had a burnout last year, i was teamleader at my work.
But we had so much work that we neede extra co workers.
I told them multiple times, they told me NO we have enough, just work more hours in the night.
After 6 months i was arguing with friends and family i was really aggitated, couldnt sleep.
I wen to the doctor and he told me to stay home.
After a few months my one of my bosses called ( i have 3 and trhis one is really chill)
He told me that he worked my job for a few weeks and opened up 3 more job application. and he was sorry,
I told him he they listened to me 6 months before then i hadnt had to be burnedout and in a shit situation.
I am still recovering.
And yes i thought a burnout was bullshit until i got myself one
So the idea that a employer recognise that their worker is overworked before its to late is really rare.
When you realize Damon just replaced the F12 with 599 because of how much he is missing the F12🤣❤️

Probably the smartest decision and most respectful thing I’ve heard from an owner of a business. Being one myself but also being that employee that busted his ass for others in the past. Seeing that someone just needs a break is a great business decision. It’s good for the employee and just the company that much stronger in the end.
