wow the true rotation video, I was doing it all wrong, I love the part when you say, get that left shoulder over the right foot. That sensation is unreal!!! Oh Jesus. I can really feel all of my levers working.

Eh Rasputin, Moving hip back/behind using ground forces, Got it. Alternatively, at hip furtherest behind, should'nt weight transfer be on left foot using ground forces with head slightly ahead of ball instead of behind the ball. As you can tell, I am one of your many dedicated students. Thank you.

Stuart great video. Right-handed golfer with hip arthritis in left hip. Any suggestions for players with hip mobility issues on changes to the swing to minimize impact on the hips?

Hip mobility issues are huge; find the level of restriction and find you upper and lower body separation and work around that would be my advice. Hope that helps. Best wishes Stu

Love the video! I know I have asked before and do not want to keep requesting content as I enjoy any video you create, but I think it would be cool to see the different swing mechanics between every grouping of club (wedge, short iron, long iron, woods, driver). I know you have touched on this before but bringing them all together into one video would be very interesting. Love learning about the physics behind the swinging of the club head and movement within the body to promote this!

The visual and feel of the left arm pulling the left shoulder over the right foot on the backswing should get the weight well left by the time you reach the top with the spine slightly tilted away from the target. I like it! Seems like a position from which you can simply rotate hard through the ball on the forward swing.

I've seen a few of the videos on this movement. I find them really interesting. I liked the idea of visualising the medicine ball attached to your left hip and moving it backwards and forwards against the wall plane. It felt good in practice also. I do find in practice, however, that this idea of opposing the force of the golf club going backwards by moving yourself towards target whilst rotating feels incredibly unnatural to me personally. I also can't see this move towards target when watching the pros. Not the best source of info for sure because they are super athletes! How do you bring movement into the body through the feet but still rotate and shift your weight 90% into the right side? I like Faldo's approach with the golf club behind his back, the left foot coming slightly off the ground. But I suppose it's different for everyone.

Hi Ben - thanks for sharing your thoughts; the leg action alone without the other components to apply it would feel a little un-natural which is why I have created extensive content to give you all the answers. I hope that helps. Best wishes Stu

Hi Stu, I assume it is the opposite on downswing, right shoulder out and towards left foot and left hip back? Sequence wise since downswing so quick I assume we should visualise this happening together?

@GoodGolfCoaching I think I am getting there. Finished 2nd out of 124 in March Stableford. Cut another 0.7, so nearly 4 shots off handicap since following your advice.
