- In this video on how to wash your ATV, we show the process we use when washing our test machines to bring them back to showroom condition without damaging them. Using the right chemicals helps tremendously. @Slick Products three step process consists of their Off Road Wash, Cleaner and Degreaser, and Shine and Protectant. These are the products we would typically use but are formulated to remove heavy grime while being safe on all of the sensitive materials and finishes on your ATV Slick products three step process takes the guess work out of what products to use.

This is the best ATV cleaning video I've ever seen. Great job.
Thanks for watching and for the kind endorsement.
These are great tips... Now if someone would come by about once or twice a month and do a presentation on my machines....
Lol...!! 👍👍👍
Ask the beard about his new expensive ATV detailing business.
Slick products for the WIN! That’s one showroom clean Scrambler XP1000 S ! And those cherry red OMF bead locks are gleaming!
All true. Had some good help washing the bike too.
Beards....beer bellies....and crocs....standard attire for us middle age men when washing our quads.
LOL, heck yeah.
Lol well said
Before I go in with the micro fiber towel I use a leaf blower to blow water off the machine. Very useful for getting water out of all the cracks and works really well on foot wells, tires and rims. After using the leaf blower the micro fiber towel can finish the rest! Love the Slick products, especially that spray!
That is a great tip.
Highly recommend Slick Products, only thing we use on our quads!
We are newer to their products. Really dig how concentrated that offer to wash is.
Best ATV cleaning video I’ve found on UA-cam
That is our favorite kind of endorsement.
I’ve considered using slick products on my machine. This video is very informative for those new to washing their ATV.
Glad you enjoyed it. We have had the fun of watching a lot of ATVs over the years.
You know what’s clean......that beard Brah.....🤟🏻
You know it Ozz Man!!!
Vulgar display of beard power and killer wash products!!! Love it!
Pantera reference?
@@LESPAUL44mag You know it!
Wow!!!! That thing was NASTY!!!! Goes to show what quality products and beards can accomplish.
Lol... Beards
Along with the right technique and some good help.

In all seriousness, that’s the best wash vid I’ve ever seen and kept my attention. You work miracles
@@flyingbriando5521 a little forethought goes a long way.
Great job guys. Very comprehensive and well done. I haven't used slick products but I wash my machine in a similar manner. I like getting it dirty but I also like taking some time clean it properly too.
Thank you! Yeah, we like to take our time with it too otherwise we get to the end and find a bunch of dirt we missed. Rather get it all the first time.
Nice Video ! Important thing to remember for people is that if you soak your seat better make sure it fully dry's before being stored. That foam/leather will mold up real quick.
Just got my first atv, thanks for the tips
You are very welcome. What did you get?
I just purchased the ATV/UTV kit and a T shirt. I can’t wait to try it out on my machine. McGuire’s Gold Class car wash soap is good. I’m hoping slick products is better. I can’t wait to try out the shine and protectant. I don’t know if it will make the running board slippery. So I may or may not avoid spraying those.
Just got the shine in today and after this video I ordered the soap.
It's good stuff. We hope it and this video help you get your machine cleaner.
Great video
Yes sir ... Great video 👍👍.
Atvondemand what do you like better utility atv or sport quads ?
Sport quads.. We're old school..
Most of us working with a Channel right now currently own a Raptor 700 if that tells you anything. Chad and his buddies Brian and Brent also own a big bore 4 X 4 each but have pretty much been riding their sport quads lately. Nothing against the four-by-four is but there are plenty of them on the market. There is a serious need for more sport machines.
I needed this video. Any chance we can get an in-depth review on the Can-Am Renegade 1000? I’m looking to buy one and it’s hard to pick between an Outlander and the Renegade. I also haven’t found a single decent review on it that isn’t biased, let alone a review that happens to be really high quality.
Who are you Ms. Cleo? We will be picking up a Renegade 1000 X-XC some time next week. We plan to test it solo and do a shootout with our Outlander X-TP to see if the Outlander gives up any performance to gain its hard working attributes. You asked and you shall receive!
ATVonDemand thank you!
Did i. See a rag in the clutch cover exhaust. Is that something you leave in or just for washing? Either way great job once again. Thanks for all you guys do.
That was in there just for washing, a rag would get blown out if you started it with a rag in there.. It would definitely be a good idea to put an outerwear cover on it if you can find one.
I've preached pre treating for yrs. Only difference it that I use WD40. I'll definitely pick up some of this off road wash though. Great vid
Can you explain how you use the wd40 ? As a shine or ?
@@eldelapalma1338 I wash and let dry and then coat everything except the seat with wd40. This offers a barrier of protection and aids in the dirt not sticking to the surface. I buy it in gallon containers and use a spray bottle.
@@oompa164 what about soap what kind do you use or what product mixes
@@eldelapalma1338 I just use car soap
They make a WD-40 with silicone made for coating!
Do you buff the quad after applying the shine protection spray
@@markbuck9299 no we dont buff it
@@ATVonDemand ok !! Thanks for the info
have you tried jax wax! im trieing deside between jax wax and slick
I would put at the end a spray for protection against rust like the cf50 👌🏻
Right on!
Great Video. Have not seen any other videos like this online. Been doing a lot of research over last year and a half as I have been slowly saving to purchase 1st ever quad. I am curious, about how much time does it take to wash the bike like this, from start to finish?
What is the pressure washer your using
I use my local car wash.
That presoak breaks down the mud like butter 🧈 .
Soap Pressure wash has warm water that helps knock out the clay.
To make it shine I spray the foam wax,
Then wax.
To make sure I don't have water spots I use the spot free rise .
To Dry off i use my echo Backpack blower .
And to give it that extra shine I hit with Ceramic coating.
Makes washing alot easier next time .
I try that slick product, wasn't too happy with it . I do use the spray cannon on my vehicles with my favorite car was soap.
" Turtle wash and wax"
That would definitely work but it sounds like it would cost about $20 per visit.. We thought the Slick Offroad Wash was the best we'd ever used but whatever works for you is cool..
@@dirtobsexxionvlogs4892 just depends how muddy it gets. I spend on average $5 to $12.
Best off. All the mud stays in the bay and not my home.
But yeah whatever works
Just saying
@@DanielGarcia-zz9eg washing machines at the coin car wash is great. The only problem is many of the car washes in our area have signs that say Do not wash your ATV or off road vehicle because they do not want mud in their Bay. Don't lie, we still sneak in from time to time if we have a machine that's just lightly dirty.
Nice!
Love your vids I have a yfz 450r how often do you change your oil i only trail ride ?
Thanks brother!
Chad from ATV&UTVOnDemand! You making black sky this weekend?
@@ononewheel7 Unfortunately no... NY being too weird about out of state visitors
Chad from ATV&UTVOnDemand! Ya i hear that this shits getting old already!
Mayb you can make round 9 of the GNCC series in west Virginia ill be at that one
The mountaineer
what about dry blood stains?
Good question
Make sure to check your airbox post wash as it can be flooded with water during the wash process
Great point!
Agreed, every time.
Can I use this on cars ?
This got me...."it has a really nice bubble gum smell" in that soft sexy sweet chunky bearded man kinda way 😜 Another great video for the history book Brother! I will be waiting for that jaw-dropping, jump launching, tight corner taking video to come 🤘
How long was the Scrambler in the shop for after this? Lol
LOL not at all.
Doesn't it make the Atv not work well if water goes onto the motor?
Yes so we don't let that happen.
what are the names of these rims...❤ Thanks from Suisse 🇨🇭
Send the beards up here. I have some cleaning tips to share while they're doing all the work too - HAHAHAHA!!!!
Just kidding Chad, you were a magnificent explainer of the process! Whoooohoooo!
Excellent cleaning video!
(yes, I know "explainer" isn't a word, but it sounded funny)
We have considered renting them out.
It's a word if you can say it Q! Thanks buddy!
Try washing that pepperoni pizza you ate last week out of your beard!
Slick products beard cleaner needs to be a thing!
Chad from ATV&UTVOnDemand! LOL
You know damn well the first time your machine goes in the mud it’s never getting showroom quality again lol
LOL. Well, we get it as close as we can.
Would it help me if I played the music while washing lol!
Yes
Nope, lol, gotta start at the top of the bike n work ya way down. 👍
Shit I go ham with my pressure washer and never have any problems...... only thing I damaged once was I put a whole in the seat.......
WOW, you're running some pressure. We would want to keep that much pressure away from seals. If you're not having issues though, sweet.
@@ATVonDemand yeah man I usually don't get to close to the seats..... it was a total accident
Don't waste your money....i hate it
Thanks for sharing. What do you hate about it.
thats all good but what makes a 20 year old quad look new??? lol
Be sure your machine is cooled down before you spray it with water... then again, why did I say this? Why did I even watch this? I never cleaned my 07 Grizzly... For real... I feel bad now... Then again I live in Belgium so restricted of driving an ATV... Mostly on-road... Yeah Belgium rocks... Also if we just threw away that bucket of water+soap/oil residu in nature you might be penalized if someone sees it and they come to take a soil sample lol... OK I'm overreacting a bit, but that's how it goes here...
For a guy who never washed his ATV that was a great tip. We do let our machines cool down before we watch them and should have mentioned that. Sounds like your government has too much control. The way things are heading here in the US we will be just as controlled soon.
Yeah I might cleaned it like 3 times or so... And indeed it was meant as a tip for not burning yourself, but to protect the metal of your engine. Hot engine, cold water and it might crack... Not ideal 😉 yeah restrictions... Gotta love them... Oh well
Shoulda done it in a skimpy swim suit🤣🤢
LOL, not buy these dudes.
We tried.. The boss said no.. Then he said "will you guys please put your clothes back on".. Anyway, bosses suck..
I go cheap!! I purchase cans of Tire foam only when it is on sale! Usually it’s on sale for $3.99 a can or less and one can is usually enough per wash! I spray about half a can over/under everything and walk away for 20 minutes. I pressure wash it off and repeat the process. It comes out pretty darn clean by then so minimal rubbing is necessary!! I purchase about 20 cans at a time pissing off the restocking clerk! Too bad it’s my money and they should be grateful that it sells out quickly!!!
It's hard to take advice from someone who chose a Polaris over a Honda or even a Yamaha lol
