ted lasso has changed my life. It was the first time I ever travelled to visit the place where one of my favorite shows has been shot and I have been to Richmond twice already (going a third time this summer) and I was lucky enough to meet jason sudeikis on one of those trips. I also made many friends who actually became real life friends and I couldn't be happier. So yes, a show really does have the ability to change your life. whatever the ending they have for us I'm just happy I got to witness the growth of all those characters. ❤ Bring it on season 3. GO GREYHOUNDS. I don't know if I really answered the question but I just wanted to share this.
I am totally obsessed with this brilliant show! Can’t wait for season 3! I hope they keep it going a few more seasons however. I do hope they answer who is ACM with the high pinball score? My guess it’s Mae from Crown & Anchor.
Roy Keane was far from bitter. He won everything as a club player. Was captain for club and country. He was very passionate about the game he loved to play.
Where do I begin as to how poorly researched this video is. Others have covered the mangling of “Ajax” but extremely surprised to hear that Richmond Park is just a park and not in Richmond
This isn't the first show to come from a series of commercials. There was the caveman show that came from the Geico caveman commercials. They even have a leg up on lasso because they starred in a music video too
Great show ... but season 3 has gone off the rails a little. Introducing Zava wasted a few episodes. That story line contributed very little to the development of the main characters or the arc of the show. I would even say it was a distraction. And in the later season 3 episodes, they wasted way, way too much time on Keeley and Jack. All of this wasted time could have been better spent on player development and on-the-pitch action.
Erm…Richmond is real and not just a park, I live there. It’s the place where so much of the show is filmed. It’s in South West London and is beautiful. Looper, your Google skills are poor!
The third season is miserable. Where to begin? First, even though we are going from the end of one football season to the beginning of another, all of a sudden two major changes occur without explanation: first, Keely now runs an advertising company. Did I miss something at the end of season two? Second, she and Roy have broken up for reasons never explained. Then the show introduces two essentially pointless characters: Zara, who quickly comes and quickly goes for seemingly no purpose and Jack, whose sole purpose is to play up a lesbian angle. When in the end, Rebecca offers Keely the money to keep the advertising company running, you realize Keely didn't need Jack at all. The storyline about the team having a gay player was fine, it's an issue sports teams have to deal with, but my God, they handled it like an extended group hug. But the worst is the relationship between Jade and Nathan. Where did that come from? Sheesh, in the first two seasons she loathed him, to the point where it was a genuine question whether she was racist. Now in season three, she feels sorry because he got humiliated by a model and they end up a couple? And that's only the tip of the iceberg that turned a great show into the Titanic.
did you not watch the finale of series 2? Keeley received funding to start her business. Her and Roy were struggling because of the direction her career is going in and when he wanted to take her away on holiday she couldn't go because she needed to start work immediately. It's then explained in season 3 that Roy broke up with her because he felt he was getting in the way.
I hate to be that guy, but Queen Elizabeth has died. This video was made like a few days ago, so I’m kind of concerned you are British and are not following the news very carefully.
They’re reading off a script that was likely written and filmed months ago. It should have been edited to reflect current events, but I bet they don’t even realize it
I just wish that they would tone down the political/social commentary. It gets pretty heavy handed at times and feels like it has nothing to do with the real story. It also doesn't help advance the plot. it's like an unwelcome break from the show. Other than that it's great and I look forward to new episodes each week.
