I won't lie. I didn't realize season 3 was going to be the final season. I understand a show needing to end when it *should* end. I appreciate it when shows are capable of doing so. But... the world NEEDS Ted Lasso. I'm going to sincerely miss the absolute joy that it brings me.
I'm guessing its an apple thing. After the 3rd season of a show is when the actors and writers start getting real big money. They are happy with the success and will move on to other shows, written by Brett and others. Remember, people with the most money dislike spending it.
True, but I think we should also give credit to the interviewer, there were some really good, thought-provoking questions in there. Not the normal press tour bollocks (also, I love how they didn’t censor “bollocks”, presumably because they don’t know what it means).
Brett and Hannah always have SUCH an unbelievable chemistry together, and to hear that Brett has always been obsessed with her is a butter for my ears! Also their constant guffy flirtation with each other) I get so happy every time they combine them for the interviews!
I can’t tell if Brett is completely oblivious to her very obvious crush, or if he’s just being a gentleman, but she complimented him more in that interview than I’ve been complimented in my entire life.
I agree that the world NEEDS Ted Lasso. To me it is a smart modern take on the old school positive happy sitcoms from the 80's. Everything on TV now is about drama and stirring up crap. There is little to nothing left that brings a positive message and takes that responsibility seriously. I will cry when the last episode drops. This is easily the best show on TV/video and for me probably top 5 of all time.
Thank you for asking "favorite scene you're not in." Too few interviewers ask that one and it's good to hear actors be invested in their colleagues' work that has nothing to do w/ them. Great equalizing question that puts them on par with the fans/readers.
I can't stop watching this show, it's so addictive and fun and real to life. All the character are just beautiful to watch. I hope they make a season 4.
The way I’m in love with both of them and their characters. Roy is just so unexpectedly sexy and sweet for a grouch and Rebecca is an absolute GODDESS . Love their friendship on and off screen! ❤️
11:30 a perfect way to describe how ii feel, and how hannah gives props to jason about the anxiety scene, mad props to all these actors, jus real ppl from what all ive seen
Like others, I subscribed to Apple TV+ for the sole reason of watching Ted Lasso. I'd seen 4 episodes of seasons 1 and 2 on flights and loved them! As it turns out my cellphone carrier had a free subscription. I watch it on android devices. 😊 I'm not a TV watcher, but this is an exception. An AMAZING show. I binge watched the series over 2 days and cried at the end of the finale. Bravo!!!
I got Apple TV for Slow Horses, but I had been hearing about Ted lasso and then I saw it was an Emmy winner. I watched one and then the binging commenced. Can't wait for season 4!.
I've not seen the show, nor have I seen such elegance and smiles from any lady before Hannah. Just her hands are enough to swivel my brain into a swoon. Wow!
People's reaction to the end of Avatar (the animated series, of course) is insanely fun because of this, it's like you're crying tears of joy for all the beauty you've witnessed but also you want to die, last one I saw the guy went "well, it's over, I'm gonna go jump out of a window now"... nostalgia truly is "all the feels"
I love my favorite books and movies partly because I can go back and re-experience them more. It's one of the best things about media for me, just like music and visual art. I can't tell you how many times I've put a song on repeat and just played it for hours.
Me too! Worth it! Me & my mum are both displaced Brits and the strength of the characters AND it being involved with football made it IMMEDIATELY NECESSARY to subscribe! NO REGRETS! 🤟🦄✨♥️
and he's such a fanboy. His huge history of writing, directing, theater and tv stuff and behind the scenes work, you can tell that he is literally a fanboy of the business and i was just laughing when she talked about him coming up to her like a little child on their shoot day and going "i've seen you in this, i've seen you in that, etc" lol so funny. In the show when she sings karaoke he is mouthing the words to the song with her, and in interviews she calls him a theatre queen.
I just started watching this show last week and I can't bear the fact that it's ending just as I found it. 😭 I absolutely adore all of the characters, the stories, all of it. Roy Kent is my favourite. Love his growly, profane, heart-of-gold self.
@11:00 Hannah is so correct! Throughout the series, I felt that the representation of a panic attack was well executed, including the stigma and derision from the world at large. The sounds and visuals were perfect, and Jason’s acting was delicately balanced on that cusp of desperately trying to keep it together when you’re falling apart and you don’t even know why. And I think the show did not try to be definitive, but just showed one version of a panic attack. That’s not exactly what my panic attacks look like, but it definitely feels the same, and that’s impressive. Thank you to the whole team for this gift of a show.
I paid heaven to put these two together for an interview!!!❤❤❤ The brilliant writing of Brett and the stunning beauty and power of Hannah are such an INCREDIBLE driver behind this show’s success. I LOVE YOU BOTH AND THANK YOU FOR THIS DIAMOND!
Absolutely adore all of them! My adult son played American soccer & said MOM YOU HAVE TO FKING WATCH THIS SHOW & even patiently explained how to get AppleTV+!!! Rewatching & crying & laughing as wait for new season🥰🥰🥰😂😂😂
This is the series to beat all series!! Absolutely wonderful!!! Superb acting all round! I felt at home watching this series. It's addictive!! I laughed, I cried!!!
This series is powerful! Love how the develope characters and address the psychological issues and working through them. Love this series. We need more ted lasso and his crew. The ending has me feel grief of it over.
yep she's used to it and very outspoken being a theater star/singer, and he's usually been the behind the scenes guy and isn't that outgoing type, so they are perfect together she can take over the conversation when he's a little overwhelmed lol.
Probably the best thing about the show is it came out at a great time when there's so much negativity going on around the world. The stories told in all 3 seasons are just heart warming and full of positivity. I think they had 1 more season in them, but I think it ended pretty well in season 3.
We started watching Ted Lasso late (really late, just a few months ago). My daughter, son-in-law and I love LOVE, LOVE the show. The character building is fantastic! Maybe they would be willing to do a reunion show, sometime.
I'll add that the best shows to ever exist are an amazing confluence of fantastic writing, cast chemistry, phenomenal acting, and proper social commentary. M.A.S.H. had it, Cheers had it, Friday Night Lights had it, Friends had it, Seinfeld had it, and Ted Lasso does it in spades.
Its funny when Hannah says its a HAPPY ship, it shows, I've been on sets where its NOT and it just makes the whole process a lot more difficult and unnecessary. A cast and yes crew who get along and enjoy being there do way better and amazing work.
I’ve said this on other forums and comments, but when the time comes and Ralph Fiennes hangs up his boots as M in the Bond franchise, Hannah Waddingham would be an excellent and formidable replacement. She’d just about keep Bond in line but she would bring a level of ferocity that would be equally balanced with a vulnerability which many actors don’t quite grasp.
so sad it's going to end after season 3.. the first two seasons were amazing! one of the best shows I ever watched in my life.. :D :( the cast is so amazing, Brett is killing it, Hannah is astonishing.. I love Jason! *sigh*
Next to Jason, these are my two favorites on the show..June Temple just screams adorable. Brett is one of the few TV stars whose actual dialect sounds like his TV persona. A lot of Brits and Aussies are out there doing great American English dialects...PS..I know how to get Apple TV..What an awesome show.
What a treat - thanks for the interview. Great to see Brett's writing gears grinding as Hannah shares her finale wishlist. What a magical show! One note - the music could fade out after the segue montages - after 10 seconds it sounds like room noise. Thanks again.
i reeeally really really hope they see how much all of us are sad about this being the final season and do just one more season. its like an encore - you want another one because all the others were AMAZING. love this show!!!! love this cast!!!
I won't lie. I didn't realize season 3 was going to be the final season.
I understand a show needing to end when it *should* end. I appreciate it when shows are capable of doing so. But... the world NEEDS Ted Lasso. I'm going to sincerely miss the absolute joy that it brings me.
How long ground do I wait
broke my heart. also breaks my heart that there are 6 more days till episode 2.
I'm guessing its an apple thing. After the 3rd season of a show is when the actors and writers start getting real big money. They are happy with the success and will move on to other shows, written by Brett and others. Remember, people with the most money dislike spending it.
Me too me too me too
We NEED more Ted Lasso. I know they have said “No” to any future episodes, but I REALLY hope there is some spinoffs!
These two are press gold. They’re always so fluently and entertaining together. Adore them
the Brits tend to be like that
Fluently?
@@cwg73160- sorry, yeah meant “funny”, autocorrect. Didn’t proof read.
True, but I think we should also give credit to the interviewer, there were some really good, thought-provoking questions in there.

@@Sarahhuff0704 I think “fluent” works well, actually.
Watching Ted Lasso is like being covered in a warm blanket.
Brett and Hannah always have SUCH an unbelievable chemistry together, and to hear that Brett has always been obsessed with her is a butter for my ears! Also their constant guffy flirtation with each other) I get so happy every time they combine them for the interviews!
lets face it who isn't obsessed with her.
Can we talk about how stunning she looks? She's pushing 50 and is a complete knockout.😍
Yes, Hannah Waddingham is stunning!
I can’t tell if Brett is completely oblivious to her very obvious crush, or if he’s just being a gentleman, but she complimented him more in that interview than I’ve been complimented in my entire life.
@@TPRM1that’s just how she is lol you can compliment your friends
Maybe…but I haven’t seen her complimenting any of her other male co-stars like that. 🤷🏻♂️
@@TPRM1 she talks about Jason and Brendan Hunt with that same level of fondness, just like how she speaks about Juno Temple
I, like Brett, have been experiencing “anticipatory grieving” since Season One. Will miss this show so very, very, much. Great interview.
I never knew there was a name for that. I often feel that way when I get to the third act of a movie that really brought me into the world.
I, like Betsy, agree. So very very much.
So they know Season 3 will be the last? Why?
I agree that the world NEEDS Ted Lasso. To me it is a smart modern take on the old school positive happy sitcoms from the 80's. Everything on TV now is about drama and stirring up crap. Like 9:45...
Hannah is absolutely gorgeous and so great in this show. You cannot help falling in love with all the characters it is so brilliantly written
My favorite scene that I wasn't in was when Roy hugged Jamie. That changed the show for me
It CANNOT be the end. I need at least 18 seasons. PLEASE.
I can't stop watching this show, it's so addictive and fun and real to life. All the character are just beautiful to watch. I hope they make a season 4.
Funny how Hannah mentioned how Jason had baked the anxiety scene perfectly. He would bake for her everyday!!
Interviewer did a great job, knew went to talk and when to let the actors carry the show.
yup loved her energy and level of enthusiasm. not over bearing at all, just enough.
The way I’m in love with both of them and their characters. Roy is just so unexpectedly sexy and sweet for a grouch and Rebecca is an absolute GODDESS . Love their friendship on and off screen! ❤️
The world needs Ted Lasso!!! 3 seasons isn't enough!! Love everything about this show.
The show has so much heart. That's a huge part of it. It's a hit. It has the best writing and the best actors. Well done.
11:30 a perfect way to describe how ii feel, and how hannah gives props to jason about the anxiety scene, mad props to all these actors, jus real ppl from what all ive seen

I love what he says about ‘present nostalgia’ - I feel like that watching it and don’t want it to end.
Jason’s scene when he breaks down about his Father was amazing.
All good things come to an end...and that is what makes them special. Ted Lasso is a prime example of this.
Glad that the cast also is feeling the constant nostalgia/dear/delicate jewelry box like we do is comforting. Definitely a feeling every episode.
I like the interviewer's style. She puts them at ease. Down to earth.
I can’t imagine anyone else in those parts, either! A perfectly cast show.
I've not seen the show, nor have I seen such elegance and smiles from any lady before Hannah. Just her hands are enough to swivel my brain into a swoon. Wow!
It's like a really, really good book, which one has spent ages reading and delighting in, comes to an end. It's like you've lost a friend.

It's apparent that this was a special thing in creation, production, and all the things between. It's lovely 🥰💖

they’re so cute STOP hannah is a goddess i can’t stop staring at her
I love her
great how the show points out every day's people's dramas and problems such as the panic attacks. It's educational.
I love that show so much. It's one of a kind and it should last a little more. Just like with Schitts Creek, it's going out a little too soon.
This is the series to beat all series!! Absolutely wonderful!!! Superb acting all round! I felt at home watching this series. It's addictive!! I laughed, I cried!!!
they have so much chemistry
Hannah is absolute perfection. God!
I could watch Brett and Hannah all day! 😊
Yep still have a crush on Brett. That thing is still going on
They are darling together. I wanna watch the series again ❤
We just finished watching it again
This series is powerful! Love how the develope characters and address the psychological issues and working through them. Love this series. We need more ted lasso and his crew. The ending has me feel grief of it over.
I am devastated that Ted Lasso is ending! Like Brett, I felt it from the first episode.
I love how the interviewer asks Brett a question then Hannah just goes ahead and answers.
yep she's used to it and very outspoken being a theater star/singer, and he's usually been the behind the scenes guy and isn't that outgoing type, so they are perfect together she can take over the conversation when he's a little overwhelmed lol.
Hannah is pretty buzzed and I'm so here for it hahaha
It's so strange to see Roy Kent laughing and smiling! 😄
I’m feral for Brett Goldstein 😂😍😍😍
Hannah is drop dead gorgeous. ❤
Gotta love em. Such class
The interviewer on this is so good!

This is a beautiful series. I've binged it twice back to back.
I just watched the whole series in a week and it was truly epic …
I can’t decide who I love more 😩💖
This was great quality content, EW! Great job!
"It's not King Ralph" Absolutely brilliant reference. Well played.

Really hope as much of the original team returns as possible for season 4!
The best!! My favorite show! It’s everything.
Brett Goldstein is the man I wish I want in my life
I love both of them on and off the screen. Hannah is just and absolutely stunningly beautiful woman. Brett made Roy my favorite character.
Please don’t let Ted Lasso end this soon….
I am in love with both these people ❤😂
I've watched all three seasons twice now. Ready to watch it a third time.

Shes so hot, beautiful body hair and skin, hope they don't cancel the series. Its awesome.
Hearing Brett’s natural voice is so jarring for me after just knowing him before only as “Roy Kent”
The show is great and the actors are even greater as regular people!
My favorite show of all time. My wife and I want more.
My God Hannah just nails it.
I love these two ❤️😂
Incredible interview! 🙌
What a great interview! Lovely peeps, UK humour is amazing!
Everytime they give Brett a drink, he says "Take this away from me."
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
I subscribed to Apple TV because of Ted Lasso!

I’m sure Apple TV will be offering fistfuls of cash
Who knew that Brett was part of the writing team. Love him, but love Hannah obsessively.
present nostalgia, he gets it
But Hannah, you are the closest thing to Mary Poppins. "Practically perfect in every way."
