    you lot should make a seperate channel for this content. people of youtube love this stuff. you could each part of the build like the car builds. sick work boys

    • @Claggy53
      @Claggy53 Рік тому +4

      Totally agree, a second channel would thrive on this kind of content if you are flip or getting properties to lease out fairly regularly. If your doing the graft anyway and have the editing skills from this channel - why not make some extra cash? Also a lot of these channels get sponsored by big DIY/Tool manufacturers like festool so get free gear. Cheers for the video.

    Really really great renovation, I like how you kept it simple but very tidy looking. Also, the finishing looks quality, and not rushed. Really great work, it's hard renovating a house with small dimensions, all the nooks and crannies create extra work but it came out really great. Nice work, and thanks for sharing! 👍🏿

    I'm not normally a fan of modern re-furbishments but you fellas did an outstanding job and I even love the kitchen! The butcher block counter tops adds a bit of warmth to the glossy cabinets.I would subscribe if you did a channel on projects such as this. Well done!

    I love how they switched the bathroom of the master suite to the front so all 3 bedrooms now can use it without going into the master, it was clever, if this house had and addition to the garden it would be so good, so they could add another bed and bath to the house, but overall great job

  • @gillianbc
    @gillianbc Рік тому +13

    You have done a brilliant job. There are so many older houses like this that need a revamp. The end result is better than a new build. New builds of this size rarely have any garden space for families.

    Such good work. Why replace dated with what will be outdated in a few years? I prefer keeping it classic, like keeping the wooden beam ceiling, sis panel doors, etc.

    Nicely done! I am perplexed as to why build a wall between the dining room & living room? Why not keep it open & flowing?

  • @BrucePierson

    That was a lot of work, but it turned out really well. Seeing that you changed some parts of the interior, t would have been interesting to have before and after floor plans, showing what changed. Fortunate that you didn't get heavy rain while doing the roof.

    Fantastic job, lovely professional finish in every room, few things id change , white gravel is used in graveyards and goes black and nasty really quickly, people hate shiny kitchens as they need washing all the time, they show up every fingerprint. Maybe budget wouldnt allow but the kitchen was begging for double doors out to the garden as there was plenty of space. I wish i had these skills i would definitely be renovating all the time ! Hope you made fantastic profit

    @5:24, the flashing around the chimney stack doesn't look up to much. @6:23, should have gone for a big sink bowl to allow for pots, pans and oven racks. I like that the boiler was boxed in, the doors and the bathroom. Overall it's improvement, but i would have made different choices.

    • @frencsymiserable
      @frencsymiserable 2 роки тому +1

      Agree. Also they made the upstairs bathroom huge for no reason and turned upstairs bedroom into an office size space. That bedroom is tiny. I don’t get it. They were renovating it ok but I feel they did not think about practicality at all throughout. For the same cost they could make it so much more practical for a family.

    I wish the neighbours could all agree on a set of windows akin to the originals and at least some uniformity would return to the road. Same applies for front wall/fence/railings.

    Thought radiator in downstairs front room in the wrong place, reduce draughty in room if near window as the radiator is in the front bedroom. Perhaps recess should have been incorporated into kitchen/diner.

  • @michellebyrom6551
    @michellebyrom6551 Рік тому +1

    The radiator in the middle bedroom needs to go where the fireplace was to allow space for a bed along the walls. Single bed under the window or bunk bed along the door wall. Leaves the alcoves for shelving and wardrobe.
    Good otherwise.

    The work is really nice, but I watch all sorts of renovations. Seeing the difference of the mere size of houses in US and how tiny the houses in the UK are makes me really depressed. I live in the UK, properties are really expensive and no matter how much renovation I do, I can only afford a tiny space
