Thanks for this, great video series. I've been contemplating doing a job on my own X6 for a while, but after coming across this I'm convinced. Might give the whole paint dipping thing a try.

next time try using a medium soft sponge to support your wet sanding paper, it'll help keep even pressure over the sand paper rather than having uneven pressure from your fingers. Other than that great vid, I'll be doing a cort in the next week or two

Mate clear coat is the best. no need buffing, just wait to dry and will look amazing for stained guitar.

I dont think the sand through hurts the look...It kindof has a reclaimed wood look.. I would leave it alone. Nice job!
