- Another sizeable Spanish-made Cudeman Bowie knife. Not crazy about the Big Elephant logo; it wasn't on the website pics. Also not familiar with the ACX380 steel.

I bought mine a couple months ago at Chicago Knife Works….they still have them.
I love Cudeman knives, and own 23 models mainly looking at bushcraft. I don't own this but I do have the 106-M and love it. Thanks for the review!
The 106M is a favorite!
Thanks for another very complete and excellent review.
Also, I am really enjoying your exploration of Spanish made knives. I have picked up quite a few, and this one may be next 😁
Thanks! One thing I've done to this one since the video is reshaped the stag grip to be a little more uniform and better fit my hands. I really like it now, but still like the 106M the best.
I love it, only 2:22 into the video and I had to stop watching to look for it and place my order, I'm glad I did. These things are really getting hard to find (it was the last one, it's sold out now at my regional EU dealer) but thankfully we are not alone in this adventure.😁
CKW did have the best price, about $15 less than Amazon.
@@michaelrizzo5523 I usually don't buy knives made in the EU in the US if I can avoid it. The shipping and import fees are just too high right now.
@@onesky8647 Like shipping swords from China. Costs have skyrocketed.
I bought both a couple of years ago and gave the long one to my son and he loved it, and I got this one for me. I was worried about that tang and am glad to see it held up in your testing. I have short fingers myself and have thought about working on that handle some. Thank you for the video as there were not any for it when I bought mine.
I did significantly reshape the grip to be more bilaterally uniform and fit my hand better, and it's awesome. Still no signs of failure. Worst part is how bad it smells when you put the horn to a power sander.
@@michaelrizzo5523 Thanks for letting me know. I still have a few covid masks laying around☺
Awesome heavy hitter there Mike! Tough as nails!!! You banged that bamboo pretty good and it came out flawless!!! The bamboo is no joke! I really like the 106 and it's handle it's just about perfect for my hand size but this beast, is a whole other animal... Thank you very much for reviewing it. It helps me A LOT when it comes time to choose... Excellent video Mike, you left nothing to guess at on that knife!
Thanks! Still loving the 106. This one is more of a collector piece for me, just too chonky for my hands.
Hollow grind could be fine if you got enough steel behind the edge...but as long as you know what you have and you can, should use it for...glad you are happy with them...always admired the bone handle scales but paranoid about the slippage possibility....great show "old man" 😅😅😅 you can't be much older then me..
61
@michaelrizzo5523 50...ok so a little older, respect...you carry it well even though 60 is the new 50...so I just gave you 10 years back brother Michael 👍 😉
Awesome! Would you consider reviewing the becker bk9 or something similar in this fashion?
I have one I've been meaning to get to reviewing.
