I'd seen Waylon in concert in the late 70s and he hardly talked at all in between songs. Cash on the other hand (who I'd seen several times in concert) would always talk and joke with his audience, but he didn't say much during the Highwaymen show. He did get a standing ovation when he did the "Ragged Old Flag" which was very moving. Great memories - I love all four of these guys.
