- Marvel Studios MCU phase 5 and phase 6 updated release slates. Marvel Studios delayed many films in 2024 and here's where all MCU films and MCU shows on Disney Plus are currently at in production and filming. Delays are actually great news for Marvel fans as Marvel has decided that they won't release any future projects that are being filmed right now unless they believe they will be hits. This is why many projects like Captain America Brave New World and Daredevil Born Again have been rewritten. And Deadpool 3 remains scheduled for 2024 because they know it will be a great movie.

I am glad they are slowing things down and taking time to make sure all the projects are good because I legitimately excited for all the upcoming projects!
Well it's not surprising with the delays, but it did give Marvel time to analyze their projects before it was too late. And improve them.

Since 2024 has started they have been making a lot of great decisions like all the incredible Daredevil news that has come out over the last few days and seeing them reevaluating their quality standards when it comes to their movies going forward as well. That's why Deadpool 3 is the only movie coming out this year so they can focus on making their future Disney Plus shows, and their future movies can be the best they can be.

Marvel fan through and through, from age fetus to now. The MCU is still a wonderful place, I'm very glad though they are doing all of this restructuring and refocusing during this saga because it sort of allows them to have the wiggle room. The multiversal concept kind of lets them be a bit messy, some projects might not jive with the whole thing but it's easy enough to multiverse course correct and stabilize.
What this means, this restructuring and focusing, it means that phase 7, 8, 9.. where we see them go for big air on the mutants and x-men. Those phases will be strong again, like phase 1,2,3.

Yeah, especially the cliffhangers on both second seasons of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Cage took over Harlem’s Paradise, Colleen Wing became the new Iron Fist, and Danny Rand travelled along with his friend Ward Meachum to find Orson Randall, the previous Iron Fist.
@@JayPalOfficialI would kill for a Punisher season 3, especially since it’s been confirmed he’s going to be in Born Again. Iron Fist was definitely the weakest of all the Netflix shows but I’d be totally open to his and Coleen’s return if they could give it Daredevil quality writing.

2025 should be the final full year for Phase Five if Fantastic Four & Blade including Vision Quest & Ironheart in Phase Six gets delayed to 2026
Alot of projects is what we had to be excited when the comic con happened. It's now the final draft of that timeline. Getting them axed due to some under performance

I am confident that these changes are for the better over all there still may be some hiccups but I am confident that overall the rest of the skate will bring back phase 1 2 and 3 vibes

The best thing that has happened is the single Deadpool 3 movie coming out tis year. It just feels all of sudden as if they have a lot of time to work on the other movies for over an year now! Also, I am still rooting for Jonathan Majors's appeal. I really hope he is innocent. Given how they want to begin fimlming for Avengers 5 by th endof this year, I think there is time for a rewrite(correct me, if I am wrong) to include Kang in the movie and actually making The Kang Dynasty again. I may be leaping too far but come on, it's Kang! If everything does go wrong nd Jonathan majors loses his appeal, hen they can continue with their new script without Kang.

I absolutely love the MCU, I watch every movie in the cinema. I certainly hope they use Jonathan as Kang in a bunch of movies and series to come. I like having his character around. The outside world should stop messing around with our movies!

Hopefully the MCU this year will make better improvements. Despite some of the recent projects having poor receptions and real life complications, I still believe the MCU has a bright future as the Multiverse Saga continues.
only thing i don’t like about this new direction is the statement where they said they weren’t gonna take risks. The MCU was built on a risk. Them making guardians of the galaxy was a risk. Great things can come out of risks as long as they put out quality content and give these characters a great story. I hope they change their mind on that. Other than that i’m hopeful for the future of the MCU.
I'm really sad to hear about all that _Marvel Studios Captain America Brave New World_, _Marvel Studios Daredevil Born Again_ and _Marvel Studios Blade_ have been having so much trouble but hopefully they are all still on track to come out next year and be banger projects.
I'm sorry but there's no guarantee that delaying all these movies are gonna make them better. How many comic book movies from both Marvel & DC have been delayed & weren't better. Also, there's plenty of movies that weren't delayed & were really good to great. Movies like Spider-Man 3, Black Panther 2, Dr. Strange 2 & GOTG 3. Plus shows like Moon Knight, Loki & others. There's no guarantee that less is more & you assume most fans are gonna be fine with it, but I'm not.
I'm fine with a little less projects to take more time to make them better, but not this drastic amount of reduction. I don't wanna go back to 1 or 2 movies a year like phase 1. Also, I kind of want Mahershala Ali to not play Blade because I feel like he's too old now. I would prefer an actor like Yahya Abdul-Mateen II from Aquaman be Blade. He's younger & in better shape for the role of Blade.
GOTG 3 and BP 2 was delayed to be fair, multiple times too, actually all those were delayed when you consider COVID😭 but your point still stands I guess
An idea get tge writers of Enterprise to write Avengers single movies of the franchise, all the cancelled shows back, Marvel Spotlight on heros never seen, aldo get back writers of the phase 1-2 look for writers from, The Wire and The Shield, Star Trek TNG, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, more creative control of scripts with directors.
Trilled with delays...I love the MCU but man have they taken a quantity over quality approach lately. Would gladly welcome delays and a cut back in numbers if it mean what we did get was up to the quality we came to expect from the Infinity Saga

Lewis Pullman is an extremely underrated actor and is pretty beefy already. He’s played badasses before (See Bad Times at the El Royale).
I'm tired of the MCU bashing on social media. I think some people just love to be negative. Marvel is doing the right things here. I thought ECO was great and I think Deadpool is going to break records. No franchise has a perfect track record but the MCU is still the highest grossing franchise ever and it's only going to get bigger and better.

They haven't officially renamed The Kang Dynasty. And they can't disregard the counsel of Kang's. I don't know why people keep thinking that. Their only option was a recast. Which, according to most verified insiders, was already set in motion before the trial ended. They were hoping to keep Johnathan, but had already sought out his replacement just in case. Kang will still be a super villain. They have no way out of that. But, Kang was already being affected by all the MCU rewrites even before the Johnathan Majors case and incident even happened.
I hope they make good decisions and won’t destroy this franchise like they did to Star Wars
