I like it...would only add a trim piece along the base in the front to hide the wheels when it's in couch mode.
Is there any plans available for how to build this? My woodworking skills are subpar and it would be easier to follow some kind of plans to make sure I cut the pieces right lol... I'm looking to do this exact same thing to fit a twin mattress (looks like that is what his is). Thank you for the awesome video!

It's cute but it looks easily breakable
Very good thought. It does seem flimsy but a 1×4 can hold around 35 pounds per square foot. He basic has the most support at the head of the bed, less in the middle and even fewer at the feet. For most of us our torso weighs more that hips and feet so it should be secure. A standard full size bed is about 28 sq ft. So it would hold around 980 pounds. That isn't counting the frame which is reinforced with three crossbars. So I think as long as the wheels were strong enough it wouldn't break. The slats and frame could be swapped out for 2 bys as well which would definitely make it much heavier and sturdier.
