When I did a correction on my '16 Mustang I found myself reaching for the 3" machine over the 15ES for most of the vehicle. Loved the size.

Yes, it's amazing just how much you can use the small polisher!

I did the same when I corrected my '14 WRX. 90% of the car was done with the 75E.

This is very interesting, I can only afford one polisher, I just do my car for fun, and have always hand polished, I don’t do it for. A job etc and the way I see it the LR15 cant do all the car but the LR75 Mini can do all the car so with my situation I am right in thinking the LR75 Mini is gonna serve me just right? Its cheaper too. I understand the Mini wont do the large panels as quick as a 21 or 15 but time isn’t a factor for me as I’m just going it once or twice a year for fun and for also applying sealants etc. Thanks for any confirmation or other suggestions, :-)

I really glad I found your web site and enjoy the material. I just started to join the many ranks of new comers when it comes to learning how to detail my car after I discovered swirl and scratch marks on my new Forrester and I was pissed.
A few months ago as I knew nothing about removing swirls etc.. bought a Blacked and Decker polisher on Amazon while waiting for it to arrive I watched UA-cam on learning to remove swirls and saw different machines being used.
I returned the B&D unopened and then ordered a PC and sent that back as well unopened as I kept ordering and sending back
and seeing how I kept seeing better more quality's DA's being used.
I then settled Groits 6" and used it on my wife's car not mine and I did well for a newbie but the damn thing vibrated to much so I sent that back. I then ordered the Boss 15 and that damn thing overheated so much it melted the interflex pad with just one pad during a correction on the hood. I sent that damn thing back too.
I finally ended up buying the new Flex XFE-7 and boy what a dream this DA is with it's air cooling for the pad area no heat and smooth as butter to work with.
A simple endeavor to correct the swirls on my new SUV is where I am now and and looking at buying the Rupes mini for those side panels and curvatures.
My question is when I ordered the Groits I received the Boss correcting cream's w/orange LC pads and used than on the SUV and I did remove most swirls.
I then bought the Manzerma 3800. Used a white LC pad and really made it pop. Is there anything you can recommend for a line of polishes etc as my SUV is new and does not have any paint problems but just to keep it looking new and maintaining each season. I live in the NW (Spokane) and suggestions please.
    Thank you.

Welcome to the world of OCD! Well hopefully you'll look at us in the future for your buying needs. We do all of the research so it makes the decisions easier for you, and our technical support is second to none. Anyways, I would recommend 2 things that would take care of most of your needs. Sonax Perfect Finish Polish and Rupes Yellow polishing pads. We have videos on both of these items! ua-cam.com/video/PwM7_CR23Qo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/k6Dqr0m3D8Q/v-deo.html

I keep important items like rags and pads sealed in bags or buckets.

It's LTA75 for the pneumatic 3" random from Rupes, not LH.

Good video. I'm a weekend warrior, looking to buy my first rupes. Would you choose this mini as your only machine for your daily drivers? I would only need to use it once or twice a year so I'm good with taking longer to polish. Your thoughts.? Love the channel

If you're looking for a single machine to use sparingly, then I would look at the LHR12E Duetto instead. You might not be able to get into the very tight areas with it, but it will save you time, and you will have a more consistent finish on the bigger panels by using the 5" pad as opposed to a 3".

Thoughts on an Adam’s Mini Swirl Killer compared to this? Thanks.

This is the most effective 3" electric D/A polisher we have ever tested...

I have the Rupes 21 and a Griots garage machine converted to a 3". Do you think the Mini or Nano is a better choice for next machine since I already have a smaller 3" 8mm orbit machine.

    • @Esotericdetail
      @Esotericdetail  7 років тому +1

I would never go back to a converted Griot's machine to a 3". The LHR75 is so much better for that use it's not even funny. You'd get more use out of it than you would a Nano.

Hello with one do yo u suggest between rupes duetto or lh75 mini?
    Thank you

    • @Esotericdetail

Two different machines for two different applications. I would recommend starting with the Duetto and get as much of the car you can. Then you can add the 75E to your arsenal to give you proper access to tight areas of the car.
