I love the lyrics " every day that I don't die is borrowed time " like it's referencing the shinigami ( Gelus if I remember correctly ?? ) who fell in love with her and died which gave his life span over to her. Since how she's not dying is borrowed time, since she borrowed his time and ahhh!! I love it so much!!
In my opinion,Gelus has resurrected inside Misa, I know he gave his remaining lifespan to her but it makes more sense if you think about it. Years later and Gelus' death still gets me..
To be entirely fair, Light didn't have a part in making Kira popular, everyone just joined in, AND Misa was the one who sought out Light in the first place (And in this musical said that she was his to use). So Misa dug this hole herself for the most part.
It’s significant Rem kills Watari as well, when she only needed to kill L. Yes, she wants to save her beloved, but it’s difficult to interpret this as anything other than revenge on the two men who tortured her girl.

IDC misa deserved better💁♀️ her parents got murdered and the murderer got to walk free until kira got him, it makes sense why she idolized and "loves" light, and if light never got the death note she would've almost gotten killed but the shinigami jelus saved her and she gets the death note, and probably would have tried it out and tried to be like kira but probably would've instantly gotten caught or done something different and failed, and in the end of the anime she kills herself because light dies, if light had beat near she would've been left clueless since light now had mikami and misa lost her memories, she would've just been lights puppet for him to use or light wouldn't need her anymore and just leave her or something, she just gets no happy ending when she really deserved one😕

It's hard for me to imagine Misa with such a low-pitched voice (I only read the manga so idk what voice she had in the anime), but the song is really strong, and honestly I low-key feel like it give more characterization to Misa than at least half of the original manga
Honestly I would like to say this song doesn’t represent miss completely for me it’s missing that she does have pride and doesn’t just always give into light it’s just she loves him so much that it’s worth enough to make her easy to manipulate. It’s not that it’s all for him cause devotion it’s cause love and manipulation at it’s finest

Exactly! Watari did anything L asked him to do in order to make Misa talk. One of the reasons why Rem killed him.

Calm Cloudless Sky She's a hard character for me to sympathize with, but I get it. She's much stronger in this than the anime.
