Now I have to research what the Shinigamis God's of death where about but the song makes more sense now because I read that the lyrics and Ryuk and Rem are making fun out of the human beings who had no care and selfish and greed. The more I study about the different God's who were considered the bad ones,,the more I respect them because they spoke the real Truth while the God in the Book of lies had hidden truth banned from people and if they had any written information about the truth, they were Executed, beaten and because they found the secret scrolls by accident and the Roman's killed them and his the secret truth is in the Vatican where its still hidden away to this day. They were scientists and about logic and truth too.
I think the word "call" in this song has something to do with gambling, such as the phrase "calling one's bluff". At the end of the song, Ryuk wants to take the first opportunity he could find to use the death note and a random human (Light) to make his "eternally boring" job more amusing.

Please help, I know it sounds funny and dumb but 😭💀
i think is a violin, with piano, or a xylophone, idk
I think it might be a piccolo flute not sure if there is a difference
I believe it's a flute but I'm not really an expert
@@alexlock9946 There is! Piccolo is much higher pitched and smaller! I can't tell you the exact differences, as I'm only a percussionist. But there is a difference between the two.
xylophone.
When i hear this i think of a god of evil and a godess of hope and good but the god cursed her not to feel love and she sees humans inlove and she wants to feel it to but he dosent care at all. And she wants someone to breack her fall into madness
I imagine Loki and his Wife Sigyns singing this lol and Loki ends up liking humans.
Lyrics
Look at how they crawl around
Upon the ground like little ants
Yes, but how they fascinate, confusing fate
With what is merely chance
Isn't it a laugh? (Isn't it a shame?)
Thinking there is someone in heaven to blame
Yes, but even while blaming fate for the lives that they lead
They hope for the lives that they need
Living every day 'til the day they die
Never getting answers (yet still asking, "Why?")
Going through the motions as if there will be a reward
While we stay eternally bored!
They're only human
They don't see, who they are is who they'll always be
Only human, after all
So they push and they shove
With this thing they call love, 'til they fall!
Isn't it a farce? (Isn't it a waste?)
Struggling to face what can never be faced
Yes, but maybe death can release something more than we share
I really don't know and don't care
They're only human
Standing still
Doomed to live pushing boulders uphill
Only human, after all, so they give and they take
Hoping someone will help break their fall
They will pray, curse, live, die
Never knowing their truth is another man's lie
Eat, sleep, love, hate, like a leaf blowing in the wind
Watch them all vacillate!
They're only human
They can't see
All the years they could give you and me
Only human, after all
So they give and they take
'Til their silly hearts break
Looking down from above
I'm intrigued by their love
So let's call
Let's call!
There’s a fucking death note musical???
AND ITS GREAT!
It really says alot doesn't it‽ Even for a lyrical kechy song…
this is just human lore to other creatures
I do love the Shinigami songs ...
Oh my god it's so good
I dedicate this song to my shoulder angel and devil
Haha! This is so perfect! Accurate af.
I didnt know deathnote had a musical until i read the comments
Death Note has a musical!?
Sound like a conversation between Dream and Death of The Endless.
well this is for Rem and Ryuk so it's still technically "Dream and Death"
this reminds me of Blue and Yellow Diamond from Steven Universe
I imagine my bf's oc despising humans and my oc living them so much she wants to experience being a physical human.
Rem: Charlie Mange
Ryku: Alastor
There is actually an animatic about that
@@trananbinhjerry6438 I know about that but the person who made it needs to finish it
Nice
I don’t know why but whenever I imagine this song I think of it as a waltz
Wait...death note had a musical?
I'm just now finding out that Death Note has a musical. I feel so damn dumb 🤦
I just know that my friend in my source would have loved this song..
Is the guy Alex brightman it sounds exactly like him
DANNY NO
@@VinVin_31 ?
@@MymommyisJ
It’s a reference to this one dude named Danny who hears any male voice singing and says- “IS THAT ALEX BRIGHTMAN?!?”
@@VinVin_31 oh I think I know who you’re referring too 👹
*[Claps]*
I’m sad that there is no Real Love in The Death Note for all the versions they had released
Can someone telle name of singer?? (English version )
Hello, I don't know if you've found out who the singers are yet,
but they're: Eric Anderson and Carrie Manolakos
I never understood the ending "let's call" what does that mean.
Video: Humans suck
Humans: ahem... *No u*

Why was this listed in a playlist for me called children's music
Guys can you recommend songs like this ?
Mordred's Lullaby by Heather Dale and Run Boy Run by Woodkid are pretty good!
You should listen to the Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street musical. That and the Beetlejuice musical sound a lot like this
