8:04 I can remember being blown away by how good Colin Mcrae 2 looked at the time. Pushed the PS1 to its limits. Same as Gran Turismo 2.

PlayStation 1 has 500+ underrated racing games. Sports Car GT, Porsche Challenge, and Rallye de Europe 2000 are some of the my favourites.
39:13 Shinseiki GPX is *NOT* a racing game. It's a visual novel style game about a futuristic F1 driver based on an anime. He participates in several races during the story, but you don't control the car; instead, at some points during the races the game let's you choose between three choices to influence the outcome (things like go to the inside/outside, boost, protect your position and such). Most of the game is spent talking to other characters in between races.
The story takes place after SAGA arc, but still before SIN.
Aside from the famous titles, there are a bunch of underrated racing games on PS1 that no one talks about. Rally Cross, Nascar Rumble, Porsche Challenge are some of my favourite.
How can I get CD's or can I download it for free and burn to my disk?
Rally Cross is my all time favorite. Takes a bit to get the feel of, but once you do it’s magic.

I remember i bought Vanishing point just by hazard. My ps2 didnt worked. Good surprise. Finished the game, the difficulty was high, some races at the end were unrealisable

So good. every one of them looks so captivating. its the era of best video game graphics and feeling. i will maybe play all of them one day. my favorite is a humble game Toy Story Racer 47:23. It uses the same engine as Muppet Race Mania 26:53

All Racing games from PlayStation One are absolutely underrated including Aqua GT, Advan Racing, GRAN TURISMO 1 & 2, and Andretti Racing PS1.
The Colin McRae bilogy was SO good.

The difference between PC and console graphics back then was MASSIVE. Nowadays you don't know if you're looking at XBOX gameplay of PS5 or PC.
Used to think these graphics were realistic, it's crazy if we compare it to modern games' graphics.

I am searching for a Kart Racing Game I would play as a child on PS1, it had characters with their cars and there were power ups you could use, the most reminding thing for me in that game is that there was a battle mode where everybody would be on a piece of land and you had to throw everyone out to win (never achieved victory there) and remember the character I used the most had a magic carpet and fly to dry dipping the enemies.

Huge respect to those of you out there who take the time to enjoy classic video games. The vast majority of gamers these days are your typical average run of the mill sort. There's tens of thousands of video games from the 1980s through 2010 that are well worth checking out. Or you could just play Call Of Duty, bro.
