I really, really, REALLY admire your style of music. No matter if it's a cover version/remake, or something original like the Bombshell OST. Everything has some distinct qualities and elements to it. I love it!
Also Tim dass ich dich hier finde.......Manchmal wünschte ich mir dass jeder Tim wäre. Außer bei meiner Freundin da wäre sie ja nur am kritisieren ^^ and....good job Andrew
What is truly amazing about your Covers is how they capture the spirit of the originial Tracks. I love to listen to this while playing Doom, it really feels like putting a really good HD - Texture pack onto the soundfiles.
This game's soundtrack just gave me the chills again. Thank you for breathing life into these classics. You're truly an artist. Feel like I'm 12 years old playing the game again with pure wonder!
I recall requesting this cover about two years ago, knowing you'd get to it eventually but not knowing when. Now that it's here, I can safely say the wait was worth it. It's got a great mix of intensity and eeriness that fits so, so perfectly it's all I can do not to fanboy all over my keyboard if you catch my drift.
Absolutely love the build up in this version. Not sure if its intended or not, but the apparent Imp grunts make for a nice touch too. To me it really seems to push the elements of mystery and the sinister environment if a crate maze filled with imps.
I've got an exam tomorrow that'll probably shape the rest of my life, but here I am listening to these renditions . Thanks man !!..Wait should I really be thanking you ?
I mean, I admire Mick Gordon's work and I do think his version of "At Doom's Gate" is really good. But I would rather have your versions of the original soundtrack for the new game. They are so fantastic! Rise Of The Triad (2013) and recently Bombshell also have a fantastic soundtrack, I must say I love your work. :)
+tominatorxx Glad you enjoy it and thanks for the support! Would love to work with Mick one day. I think we share some of the same ideas. If you haven't checked it out yet you should listen to Inferno by him. Totally amazing! I'm sure he will do a fantastic job with the new Doom.
This was always in my top 3 favorite DOOM/DOOM 2 songs, and MAN you did it justice! Great job! P.s. I know you've done music for DUSK, Ion Fury(I think ) and other recent throwback FPS games. I was just wondering if you have ANY idea when DUSK and/or Ion Fury will finally come to the PS4? Because those are the 2 I'm most looking forward to finally plating on my PS4, day one buys for me! I'm a console gamer, I have nothing against PC gamers, I couldn't care less what other people choose to play there games on. Anyways, that's how I play ALL my FPS games such as DOOM 1, 2, TNT, Plutonia, and Duke Nukem 3D. On my PS4. I'm sure you don't know about any release date but I just figured I'd ask lol. Oh and I REALLY hope we get Blood ported to the PS4, I've NEVER Played it before and I have a feeling it will be in my top 3 fav FPS games ever! It just looks sooooo good. Just like Dusk and Ion Fury, same goes for those two games.
Come to think of it, I wonder if the Bobby Prince original was like his way of doing ASMR, or something, because his version had that relaxing, soothing effect to it. Maybe Donna Jackson was off that day?! Maybe he needed to write this music to put the id Software crew to sleep after reaching too many stressful deadlines. Just a random thought. ;)
@@thejosesarangoproject5700 Yup, but I find the SNES version of "The Demons from Adrian's Pen" as one of the greatest ones, because it feels creepier and more evil than any other. Nevertheles some SNES mixes are pretty crappy, such as "Hiding the Secrets" (and its strange trumpet replacing the guitar) and specially "Facing The Spider" (That it sound weird and badly instrumented).
@@thejosesarangoproject5700 The only other tracks that I think that outranks the SC-55 versions are _Sign Of Evil_ (because it's the only version that I heard using a pretty good guitar as the lead), _Suspence_ (that it's one of the few that it's quitely good instrumented), _Sinister_ and _Waltz of the Demons_ (by the same reason that I think that _Suspence_ it's good). The other two tracks that I think are pretty nice (but not perfect) are _Donna To the Rescue_ (the only one that the trumpet doesn't feel out of place) and _Nobody Told Me About Id_ (that I think that matches with the style of the SC-55 version). That's it, I don't think that other tracks are great, so I think that the SNES OST it is overrated but it has some kick ass remixes.
Hey there Andrew Hulshult, It's me again Enstinck xD I have another question about the doom music you're making, are you going to be making another album titled "IDKFA volume 2"? for doom 1 episode 2 "The Shores Of Hell" I would just love to hear another album from you, I already downloaded your IDKFA album and i love everyone of your tracks in there. This song however is not in there, so I assume that this will be added to volume 2. I love the hell outta this song already, it is so much modern and different then any other one I've heard. Like elguitarTom for example... he's got great music no doubt, but it would seem hes involved with heavy metal type music, which isn't a bad thing, but at the same time however I like to hear something different like what i'm hearing here. :D

The Demons from Adrians Pen is my favorite Track from Doom and this version is even better.
Thank you for this great remake.
I really like your version of "The Demons from Adrians Pen" =)
Somebody please hire this genius to compose for future Doom movies
Amazing! 10 / 10 !!!
In my honest opinion demons from adrians pen is top 5 songs from doom 1993, and you made it even better
holy shit. This is my favorite Doom song. you, sir, have done an impeccable cover.

This is amazing. It stays faithful but still feels new.
Oh wow, this one is really haunting Oo . A very nice cover, I like the choice of instruments you went for here, and the off-key pitch here and there.
+Chyrosran22 I'd love to see him cover each episode, and then see a mod made out of his music.
and now he make official music for doom, what a legend, I respect the guy so much
I don't know how but you always seem to capture the essence. Amazing work dude always love hearing your stuff!
