Not sure if he is immortal, the one-eyed crow was immortal, but that was because he had let the tree grow into him and became part of the tree, I think. But yes if he is immortal that would be a game changer.
But considering the whole theme of the show is that nobles fighting for power just hurt the small folk, then actually the people in the kingdoms other than the nobles or the criminals would think it was wonderful. There actually wouldn’t be any wars. No common people killed when the nobles play their “Game of Thrones”

The lack of writing for “Bran” & Bloodraven was their greatest failure. They still could’ve left it ambiguous, but needed more than a single line that at this point was just a slap in the face of viewers. Along with the final lines being Tyrion’s joke AGAIN without the punchline…a true analogy for what they gave us for storyline wrap up of Thrones!

Bloodraven was his teacher dude. The common phrase is "when you don't know who to blame, blame Bloodraven". He wasn't just some old dude chilling in a tree, he was a skilled warrior and killed quite a few members of his family to keep power for his side. Bran went into the training thinking it would be altruistic but that quickly changed once he got more exposed to the evils. The show runners did a horrible job of showing us the Bloodraven stuff so it hurt Bran's story. They got enticed by the Star Wars money and wanted to get out of GOT as quickly as possible. George did confirm that Bran will end up as king. Just gotta see if he's able to make it convincing in the books or if he's just gonna let it die.

He says he can't be a Lord because he's no longer Bran Stark. The Three Eyed Raven (Bloodraven) always had plans to become King. When he merged his consciousness into Bran, he did it to extend his life and continue his plan to become King. Everything he did from that point on was to become King, not to become a Lord. That's why he says it, and it lines up with what happens in the story. It may be rushed, but it does make sense.

I've been saying this since I saw the ending. The ending still sucks for pages of reasons but it's the literal only logical thing that came out of the ending. He set up Dany to lose a dragon north of the wall by telling Jon he saw them even though they couldn't have possibly passed without a dragon. He never used his powers to help only to make his ascent as king. Everything he did after becoming the 3 eyed Raven was geared toward knocking off his competition. You can even say he killed meeras brother and lured Bran to his death just so the 3 eyed Raven would be reborn without being stuck inside a tree.

yeah fan theory is that he is actually the 3 eyed raven and he is controlling Bran. Think the movie Get Out, bran can see everything but 3 eyed raven is in the driver seat. Everything leading up to ravens death was put in motion by him to lead Bran to the cave so he could ultimately take over Brans body since he was apart of the tree he could never leave....without other means. another reason is raven is basically null of emotions and then after his death, Bran magically just becomes basically mute and none empathetic same character trait

Also, wasn't Blood Raven/Three eyed Raven supposed to be a Targaryen? Then that means a Targaryen is back on the throne.

Makes not much of a sense to teach Bran that strictly if he'd just take him over. I think the Three Eyed Raven is a symbiote like the Trilĺs in Star Trek just not a physical one but a spiritual one. He left his old host who was dying and became something new with Brandon. Therefore he is not Brandon anymore but Brandon is also not gone and therefore still part of the family.

Without a Bran POV chapter, one that reveals his thoughts, this conjecture is a bit weak. First, the extent of his powers are unknown. So, what did he know? What could he know? Second, the show reveals Dany choosing to burn King's Landing. She had agency; it was her decision to burn King's Landing. It's only by attributing omniscience and super warging powers to Bran that this explanation makes sense. Finally, it us assumed Bran becoming King was a bad thing. I won't lose our time in a long boring essay, but as someone who is currently rewatching the whole show for it's 10th time, knownledge is the centre of power in Westoros. In my opinion Bran becoming Jon's master of whisperers for blood raven's genetic experiment of Valariyan & First Men blood that he's cultivated (Jon Snow) is a much better fit for his story ending. Having someone as open minded and noble as Jon who would ensure a new pact with the Others, oversee the planting of new weirwood trees in the south, and allow the children of the forest to repopulate would be ideal instead of seizing power.

That's why if u rewatch it. It's actually a really good end except for how short the big battle was with the ice walkers. As for the books that's kinda what happens when you don't finish writing the books before your tv show ketchs up with them and then goes pass the books so that now the books have to kinda follow the TV show and explain stuff better had the books been done we probably have a total different ending then what we got

its actually a horrifying thought that Bran orchestrated the whole thing. Or, more tot he point, the Three Eyed Raven Orchestrated it.
Imagibe; Theyve now placed a omniscient entity on the throne that can pass itself on to another. So, if they set up an elective kingdom, where the heir is chosen while the previous ruler still lives (to avoid any interregnum chaos), the three eyed raven can just transfer itself to the heir. So they now have an immortal king.
On top of that, The TER (three eyed raven) can see all human history, as soon as it happens. So why would it care that it gave the North its freedom? Once the 6 Kingdoms is consolidated and powerful again, where any an all dissent will be KNOWN immediately, the TER can just march its armies to reclaim the north. How do you fight an army that knows all your battle plans the moment you make them? If you, or anyone discusses a weakness, the TER will know. It will be easy to crush the North and bring it back under the Iron Throne.
This will be true for THE ENTIRE WORLD. the TEr is immortal, and cannot be deposed, so it has all the time in the world to conquer everythign, and anyone who rises up in opposition will be unable to form a strong rebellion, becaus ethe TEr will know what they plan at all times

    1. Bran should have control the mind have a white Walker's dragon. He should have throwing the white Walker off of it and taken control by sitting on it himself and flying it. That way he could have assisted. He could have done this with the voice of the three eyed dragon repeating in his head you will never walk again but you will fly.
    2. Aria still could have defeated the king white walker but just needed a little back story. When she and The Hound were sharing big brother stories, she could have simply mentioned that her big brother Jon also shared his blood with her by poking both their fingers and sharing blood. This gave her courage all her life and whenever she is scared of anything she remembers she has the blood of her fearless brother in her veins. This way when she slays the king white walker it is the blood of the Prince that was promised inside her that does it.
    3. Gendry should have been named king. Bran reveals someone with true kings blood is in the dungeons they realize Gendry was arrested for not being able to prove where he got the boat. They accused him of stealing it and he was set to go before the king for justice at some point. But, when all hell broke loose he was left imprisoned. Bran tells everyone to bring him forth and he is named the king. THAT would have shocked everyone and made much more sense than the ending we got.
    4. Danni should have put fire to the red keep but not to the rest of the town. Then she meets up with Jon and promised to burn the rest of the town if they don't bend the knee immediately. Jon is not going to let this happen but he loves he so much. So, Jon embraces her in kisses and puts a sword through her and through himself at the same time. They share kisses and death together.
There are a few other changes that could have been made. But, I believe these changes would have made the last season so much better.
I also have a real REASON for the white walkers relentless move south. It is much more than just killing people. They have a reason for what they are doing written in the history of Winterfell. But, I will post that another time.

Not to mention, Dany said Cersei tried to use the innocence of the common folk against her. But she never mentions the bells. Imo, Bran could've kept her from hearing the bells, the same way Hodor was affected. Also, the first thing he does is skip out on a council meeting to find Drogon. After stating 1000 times, he isn't really Bran, one may assume that this is now the Targaryen within him that's been waiting generations for the chance to nab a dragon, and that was what this whole thing was about to start with. I'm not convinced that the Night King was evil, but was maybe supposed to protect the world from the 3 eyed raven. I liked the old Bran, but as Meera said, he died in that tree.

Arya suddenly leaves Westeros on a whim to an area where few return from after constantly showing Bran up as a child and possessing the skill to possibly kill him.
All the powerful leaders of the great houses are dead leaving behind people who are simple minded or easily swayed. All of them agree to put a young man on the throne with no grooming of leadership besides magical powers.

Somewhat like the God-Emperor Leto II in Dune who did absolutely horrible things to ensure humanities survival over the long-term. Bran may have set the wheels in motion not out of a lust for power, but because every other outcome he saw was worse than what he did. Sometimes ya got to do some evil for the greater good and when you are talking about the very survival of Westeros population, the ends do indeed justify the means.

EVIL BRAN! I THOUGHT THIS JUST AFTER THE FINALE. I think he actually warged either into Drogon or Dany.
When they were doing interviews after the show finished, Isaac mentioned that GRRRRM, had told him he was going to end up king.
He also said, as a joke, I presume, that "wouldn't it be funny if the ending was already foreshadowed/ seen, in season 2- the 6 remaining series would be pointless." Or the equivalent.
I guess he could have meant Dany's visions- with the ash in the throne room, and seeing Drogo and her child sooner than one may of thought. However, when the bells are rung, and Dany "went mad", she looks straight at the red keep and set off in that direction.
In a season 2 vision, Bran sees a dragon's shadow, flying over some houses...and it was the same shot used in the penultimate episode in the whole series.
    From a show watcher only.

We saw the way he did Meera. She risked her life for him, even after just losing her brother and when they got back to Winterfell, all she got in return was “I don’t need you anymore” and “thank you”. His villain arc started long ago😂

That would’ve been such a crazy twist. I don’t know if it would’ve worked because I don’t know that there was enough set up… still would’ve been much better than what we actually got.

I agree this would have been a much better ending. Bran the Broken's Revenge. 🐺🐺🐺🐺

Remembering how determined Bran was as a young boy I could totally see this as being credible.

This is 100% accurate I came to similar conclusions after the finale! Bran isn't bran anymore he is the 3-eyed raven a potentially immortal being who planned out exactly how to become king and destroy every single enemy and possible contester along the way. And now the 3-eyed raven will pass from person to person and likely from king to king becoming an immortal ruler.

I think he learned not to meddle with what is going to happen after what he did to Hodor.

Not every plotpoint has to be explicity told. Open endings exist for a reason. Use your mind and fantasy to fill in plotholes (sometimes those are intended). This video is proof of that: using own thoughts to explain plotholes.

Nah i think bran just heard tyrion talking to himself in his jail cell when he first came up with bran being king.
