@@ecMonify and cost a lot of money but also more profit.... I think its more to do with actor maintenance like their contracts and that... Maybe they will do spin offs later
well this is mostly from the books, the show cuts like 70-80% of it. so even if we remove the fan theory from this video and leave only the facts from the books, it's still way better what what it ended to be in the show. what we expected from him at the start was some real magical shit, something that can manipulate the world probably. seeing everything and maybe whispering and guiding the people to victory. instead we received the world's archives. i mean we technically have this in the library in Oldtown.. and a glorified spy.
GRR Martin may not have written WoW or DoS yet, but he's had 8 years to think about what he wants to put in there. I'm pretty sure it going to be amazing if he ever actually bothers to finish it.
Duy Khanh I’m not one to praise theorists, but Alt Shift X and bridge4’s videos are legitimately amazing in terms of quality and the coherency of their theories. It’s like what game theory used to be.
Alt mentions that Bloodraven might've warged the boar that killed King Robert. If you'll recall, Robert killed it with a knife through the eye, and called it a bastard. Making it a one-eyed bastard like Bloodraven. He even jokes that a god sent the boar. "Drove a knife right through his eye" "I killed the bastard, didn't I?" "the gods sent the boar... sent to punish me,." Also in a Clash of Kings Stannis says, "If someone said I had magicked myself into a boar to kill Robert, likely they would believe that as well." -
You could probably account for Brandon's crippleness to the Bloodraven as well. He was chasing a bird when he went by that window.. and seeing how Euron turned, Bloodraven must have thought it safer to have the boy be crippled before the dream, so he doesn't get adventurous.
That's a great theory. Actually, the age of the three-eyed raven is completely irrelevant if he's capable of time travel and influencing events from the past. He could've been stuck in that tree for 1 year or a 100 years, doesn't change a thing. He's truly horrifying. The show got everything so wrong. I wonder if GRRM regrets doing the show. It kinda destroyed his legacy and created a huge negative perception of ASOIF.
@@Emajenus weirdly i think the opposite, in my country the outright rage against the series finale made the books sellout in every major book selling chain, because the people (like me) who didn't want to read the books were ahem, big mad about how it ended It was such a huge NO HOW DOES IT ACTUALLY END WTF that he became immensely popular, highlighting how bad the series was in the meantime
@@kikima258 meh, i wouldn't be surprised if that isn't true and there are other ways to absorb blood power. But it actually seems like it is true, and could be forcing Bran to see the dark side like Sansa and Arya. And it would be interesting to see how the stark children escape the dark as all of the (major ones) are currently less powerful than the people around them. Also all of them kinda signed up for this willingly.
Now that Bloodraven is king of the 6 kingdoms, can we all agree that (at least in the TV show) he is the real Villain having manipulated everything to make himself King.
That has been along the lines of what I was thinking. I didn't know as much about Bloodraven, but just about the 3ER/3EC being an extension of the Children of the Forest - so I had thought they were manipulating events through Bran. But now that I know all of this back story, it's even more compelling that Bloodraven is manipulating. But for good or for ill? I guess in GOT it's never cut and dry. Fascinating. Just makes me want to read all of the book all the more.
But the problem is that the writers are selling this storyline to us as _positive_ and I've seen quite a number of viewers who buy it and who say he'll be a great king lol.
This just makes me really appreciate how much time George RR Martin spent creating this intertwined history of the world. Everything's so detailed, that it doesn't feel like he just made a timeline with an ancient past, but created stories within each generation tied them together.
Xiyu Yang A pedohile, wizard, priest-killer, kinslayer, kingslayer, childkiller, raper, reaver, and insane sadist --- Euron is seriously fucked up in the book. Not mentioning sailed into the ruins of Valyria and lived to tell the tale.
@@antoniomarino9444 Yeah, he was real important alright. Did absolutely fuck all, said nothing and hid next to a tree protected by the almighty Theon Grayjoy. WOOOOOO
I don't think he only did it to people who lost their legs, it looks like he does it to any greenseer he can find, it's very likely he tried to do it to euron but failed and saw how that turned out so went for Bran because chances are you can't take over the world and make yourself a god if you can't walk

@@alastairbond7104 I think Preston has contributed more to the community than anyone, and he's the only theorist I know who actually has a pretty good thematic grasp of not just asoiaf, but the entirety of grrm's work. Plus, Preston actually comes up with his theories, as opposed to asx, who takes material from westeros.org and the asoiaf subreddit; I'm not complaining, asx never claims that he came up with the theories he presents.
Hope Davos survives the series. Love the actor and the character. One of the few "good" characters in the show. Normally I am really into "grey" characters, who aren't really good or bad, but in a show full of those, one person with an intact moral compass is surprisingly a breath of fresh air. Didn't think I'd ever say that.
My favourite characters are grey characters like The Hound, Jaime, Melisandre, fierce characters like Arya or characters who evolve a lot like Sansa, and then there's Davos lol. A few days ago I was thinking: I don't think anyone dislike Davos. He's such a likeable guy, and even though he's normally not my type of character he's still among my favourites!
Joshua Fleming Yes, they can be interesting, of course. But my point is, the “boring” or predictable ones are the Black/White ones. If someone is “Black” you know he’s completely bad and you can predict he/she will be doing bad things. A Grey one is not predictable, he/she can surprise you doing bad/good things when you dont expect it.
@@jonshadewalker1105 you don't seem to understand. Grey characters have no clear morale hense either way they end up going wouldn't really be a surprise. Unlike a black or white character doing something slightly different from their charted characteristics

Anyone noticed that Bloodraven's time as Lord Commander lasted 13 years? 239-252. He mimicked the night's king archetype as well. He killed a brother he possibly loved (one brother he did love) and probably the Night's King did as well at some point.
I believe the story with the Night’s King revolves around his brother killing him actually, it’s a story Old Nan tells Bran about how the Night’s King could have been a Stark and was killed by his brother the Stark King she implies that the Night’s King’s name could have even been Bran. The records of the Night’s King were destroyed so that adds credence to the story.
They often portray thin characters as archers. In reality though size and strength are most important with the bow. Power depends on how hard you can pull back and greater size means greater draw length and therefore higher arrow speed. A faster heavier arrow not only has more power but also greater accuracy. English longbowmen were usually the tallest and most muscular people in the kingdom.
While you are part right you are also part wrong. Long lanky frames are better than shorter muscular frames for drawing the string. Skinny frame doesn't automatically mean weakness.
@@Blackhawk211 It does. Muscles take up a certain amount of volume so to get more strength you need more muscles. Though there is more to athetlic performance than just raw strength. The number of blood vessels is important for endurance and skill plays a big role. But with archery it's raw strength that's the most important. Also if the choice is between a long lanky person and a short strong one the short and strong one is better. Since a shorter bow can be drawn faster. That and also for archers speed and agility doesn't matter since they are not supposed to directly face their opponent. With melee soldiers agility matters a lot for sneaking in blows, deflecting them and moving around the battlefield. If he tried Gregor Claygane would have been one of the greatest archers Westeros had ever seen.
I’ve already buried a time capsule in my yard with the box set of season 1-7 for future generations to know what happened......wait...I’m not digging another hole.
'Sit in chair underneath the Weirwood tree, wait for Night King to slowly mince his way toward me, then get ninja sister to give him such a stabbing' Easy secret plan really.
[SPOILERS] 8:15 also in Samwell III, ASOS at the end of the chapter there is a raven that helps Sam and Gilly to escape from a group of wights, here an excerpt: He crept to the door. The air was so cold that it hurt to breathe, but such a fine sweet hurt. He ducked from the longhall. "Gilly?" he called. "Gilly, I killed it. Gil-" She stood with her back against the weirwood, the boy in her arms. The wights were all around her. There were a dozen of them, a score, more . . . some had been wildlings once, and still wore skins and hides . . . bot more had been his brothers. Sam saw Lark the Sisterman, Softfoot, Ryles. The wen on Chett's neck was black, his boils covered with a thin film ice. And that one looked like Hake, though it was hard to know for certain with half his head missing. They had torn the poor garron apart, and were pulling out her entrails with dripping red hands. Pale steam rose from her belly. Same made a whimpery sound. "It's not fair . . ." _"Fair."_ The raven landed on his shoulder. _"Fair, far, fear."_ It flapped its wings, and screamed along with Gilly. The wights were almost on her. He heard the dark red leaves of the weirwood rustling, whispering to one another in a tongue he did not know. The starlight itself seemed to stir, and all around them the trees groaned and cracked. Sam Tarly turned the colour of curdled milk, and his eyes went wide as plates. _Ravens!_ They were in the weirwood, hundreds of them, thousands, perched on the bone-white branches, peering between the leaves. He saw their beaks open as they screamed, saw them spread their black wings. Shrieking, flapping, they descended on the wights in angry clouds. They swarmed round Chett's face and pecked at his blñue eyes, they covered the Sisterman like flies, they plucked gobbets from inside Hake's shattered head. There were so many that when Sam looked up, he could not see the moon. _"Go,"_ said the bird on his shoulder. _"Go, go, go."_
I like to believe that, after learning about Aegon's Song of Ice and Fire and the Long Night Prophecy, in an attempt of stopping it he awakened the powers of Euron (or of someone who took up his body), and started a chain of events that will end up in Euron (the Bloodstone Emperor incarnation) starting the Long Night he tried to avoid in the first place. So, his plan for Bran and John is actually a desperate attempt, guided by guilt, to stop the apocalipse he started.
it's not about complexity, but more about a choice, see lord of the ring as super complex mythologie, but tolkien knew what it was leading to. it's the choice he made, also how do you know that the autor of GoT doesn't know exactly where he's going. (it might be true)
@@lucasbortoluzzi9369 i think that asoiaf is more complexe simply because of the more 3 dimentional characters even the others are not "eivil" but i agree with the choice part grrm was more intrested in the world building than actually ending the story

@@rocksfire4390 That's just stupid, Arya has her arc, she trained to get vengeance on people who did wrong to her or her family and she has a list to clear, Jon has his arc which was since the begging to defend and unite everyone against the White Walkers, he's a great swordsman probably as good as Jaime, a great leader and a good man, they build him up until this moment just to have Arya steal the kill because "it's unexpected", nonsense that throws GRRM lore thru the window, at least now I'm more hyped for the book since the show fucking stupidity is clear

Dude, if he's good with a longbow then he is Damn strong. A big misconception thanks to fantasy and historical games and films. Bowmen had to be strong, and Brynden would be strong af.
Awesome point, that I should have caught. I practice archery with one of my daughters and she mentioned this too. Basically, I'm 6'3 230lbs and shoot a 70lb compound. I can practice comfortably for half an hour. Old full size longbows had draw weights between 90 and 120lbs with no cams. If he was a bowman he'd have been tremendously strong.

I think the 3 eyed raven is the villain. The Night King only crossed the wall to go after the 3 eyed raven. It seemed very personal and there is something GOT is covering up.
The Quaithe extended-life/preserved-beauty thing is interesting because Quaithe's mask has the same symbolism that we are with Melesandre's necklace (this pattern is echoed with other red priests/priestesses as well)
Just watched the last episode, and could not stop thinking watching this video like months ago. Your analysis is so well thought that it feels like Bloodraven (Brynden Rivers) got what he really wanted by sitting on the Iron Throne at the end of the series. a small example of his master plan is that he is the one who tells Jon Snow, and Sansa (Arya) that he is a Targaryen leading to Dany and Jon off the table for Queen (murdered by Jon) or King (not accepted by the people because of killing Daynerys) at the end. This is an extremely smart move, something that even in your video isn't mentioned since it's so unexpected!! i mean even Martin didnt originally think that Bloodraven is the guy, he should really consider making this theory a reality.
It’s a lot more complicated than that. Einstein had a brain volume that was slightly lower than average. The male brain mass volume deteriorates after age 40, where as a on average the female brain shows little deterioration until much later in life. Women are also or more likely to be better multitaskers, which makes some evolutionary sense in that women had to take care of a multitude of things from, raising the kids, gathering certain types of food, cooking, cleaning, making clothes, doing repairs, dealing with tribal politics, and healing/medical concerns. Where as most of the men normally just needed to worry about hunting, village defense, and their masculinity. You could use the Encephalization Quotient. Brain volume v. Body mass. But that shows that women have about the same, if not slightly higher than average, EQ when compared to men. It also shows that dolphins and some whales have a larger comparative EQ to humans. At best, the brain volume issue might be a general predictor of an individual’s intelligence potential within there own species, if you use the EQ method and factor in a whole lot of other variables. At worse, it’s been a tool used to justify racial and gender superiority. In the end, it really comes down to brain capacity, complexity and density within certain regions of the brain v. age, genetic, education, experience and environmental factors of any given individual as to that individual’s intellectual potential or aptitude towards certain skill sets and reasoning, as opposed to that of their actual overall intelligence only being based on that individual’s brain volume, regardless of gender or ethnicity. So no, a woman’s brain volume on average is near irrelevant as to the way that you’re using it. And no, sorry but, “wamon ain’t stoopid”. Well, maybe just maybe, women are more complicated than men and some of us men can’t handle that. In which case it might be time for society to rethink the patriarchal system, because too many of us men seem to be either regressing or stagnating rather than evolving.
Loved the Bene Gesserit reference. Bloodraven's teaching to Bran?: I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Ice and Fire like black and white, north and south, duality between two opposition sides? in my opinion if Rhaegar had a dragon it be a white dragon with red eyes, like ghost and bloodraven?
whats your opinion if some fans made an AU fan animation episode where Rhaegar got a white silver dragon with red eyes, and i bet his name be specter just like ghost? Plus i bet Brandon would have been a better leader then ned, ned may joining the second sons like tyrion did be ironic, they are second born sons they joined the second sons?
This video is an example how the information of the books may be analyzed and how you may create at least not bad ending for the TV show. Everything seems logical and connected. The three main plots (rivalry between Starks and Lannisters, Targaryen rise, King of the Night) should have climaxed probably in the battle of light and darkness (including mystical and magical powers). Thank you for the video. Well done and very interesting.
This channel is one of my favourite to visit when I need some good GOT theories and content, it's probably because George takes FOREVER to finish the books,
Sometimes i forget how obscenely well written a song of ice and fire is (read the books quite some time ago)... I come here from time to time to remember that waiting this long for a book will probably be worth it
Azor Ahai is such a legend in the GoT universe that I can't help but be reminded of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Maybe this character and maybe some of his underlings are really just reincarnations of previous entities. Maybe John Snow is just the new Azor Ahai.
Although the show didn't go this deep into Bloodraven's history it does in retrospect make the end a bit more disturbing..........and less disappointing. Hopefully, Martin will flesh out this idea more whenever we get the last two books.
Didn't you hear? He's Azor Hotpie, the Pie that was promised! If not for him, Arya wouldn't have killed off the white walkers. And King Bobby is the reason Arya and Hotpie met, so it's all really well written. Indeed, indeed.
lol, by having his little assassin sister materialize out of thin air to take the night king down and his massive amount of white walkers in just 1 stabby action.
After watching this and not having finished the books, Bloodraven comes off as a total Odin reference, which I somehow didn't realize until now. Odin has his two crows, Huginn and Muginn, who scour the worlds finding secrets for him. Odin also sacrifices his eye in exchange for magic, and is said to see more with his one than he ever did with two. He also sees a prophecy for Ragnarok and tries to prevent it, but ends up setting up the dominoes for his own downfall. Euron seems like he's in a similar role to the wolf, Fenrir, the last thing Odin can see is his own death. Devoured by a great wolf. When it's revealed Loki has three monster children the gods take them back with them and Odin decides their fates. For the wolf child, Fenrir, Odin and the rest of the gods trick Fenrir and bind him with an unbreakable chain. Fenrir tells Odin that he could have been a friend to the gods, but now harbors hate towards them. Eventually when Fenrir breaks loose during Ragnarok, he devours the Sun and Moon as well Odin. This is before being slain by Odin's son, the god of vengeance, Vidarr. I definitely get similar vibes from your summary of Bloodraven to Odin with his whole "long-game stop the apocalypse" thing.
Something that gives me the shivers about Bloodraven is that his one red eye is described in a similar manner to the eyes of Melisandre and Lady Stoneheart. For all of them their eyes are like the most alive and powerful part of them at first glance. Catelyn literally looks dead now, but her eyes are described as powerful, red, kind of glowing and terrifying, very similar to Bloodraven. Could there be some connection between the powers of the Lord of Light and the powers of the old gods, despite Melisandre viewing the old gods as non-existent (when Bloodraven and the children of the forest explain otherwise), and their servants such as Bloodraven and Bran as servants of the Great Other? She's been known to misinterpret her visions. Also, through the show it is suggested that Melisandre is actually an old crone disguised by her glamour, with her ruby throat necklace thing. Perhaps the ruby does actually keep her young, not just change her appearance. When Jon spars with Mance, thinking its Rattleshirt, he notes that Rattleshirt is faster than he ought to be. We later realise it's because it isn't Rattleshirt. So Melisandre if she's just using a glamour should be as feeble as an old woman right? But she's not, so maybe she's using something else. Perhaps she is keeping herself young and an effect is the red eyes, similar to Bloodraven, who never technically died, just like her, but became akin somewhat to a wight just like Lady Stoneheart. And the wights of the Others have eyes described in a similar manner, just blue. Perhaps that could indicate the difference in the beings behind such powers. It will be very interesting to see what happens if Jon is resurrected in the books too. I doubt it will be like the show. He will be changed, physically and mentally. The question is how much? Lady Stoneheart seems to be so fucked up physically because she was rotting in a river for days, as for mentally, the time may have done it, but also she was resurrected using the life of Berick, who'd been a shadow of himself after six resurrections, struggling to remember his former life, and if I remember right, he didn't eat or sleep, just like Coldhands. The question is, if Melisandre resurrects Jon, how well is she going to do it? Is Jon going to be obviously dead like Catelyn? Or is he going to appear alive like Berick, but not truly be so? Is his death, the betrayal of it and all his years of pent up anger he's finally allowed to unleash on the Boltons and Lannisters (as death frees him from his oath) going to turn him into a monster? Will he still be able to Warg with ghost? That one is very important in my opinion. That will be another link between the old gods and R'hollor, as Brydnen despite his condition seems to still be able to skinchange. And also, will he be able to warg into Viserion?
Damn. This stands out as one of the best and most important GoT/ASOIAF commentsry vids ive ever seen. And honestly, ive seen farrrrrrr too many of them lol
We have had this guy for FIVE EPISODES ONLY in the show, way too little if you ask me (there were a lot of episodes in which we saw Bran & Co. travel (which was interesting to see and I really liked) while there are ONLY FIVE EPISODES where Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven actually interact :S). Ultimately, season 6 left me disappointed concerning Bran Stark's storyline, which was hyped beforehand but turned out to be very underwhelming (things could have been more interesting, at least that's what I hoped for/expected given the long build-up and created hype). Sure we got a couple interesting flashbacks and revelations (and of course the superb episode _The Door_ ) but a lot of questions were left unanswered (or answers were left implicit)... e.g.: Why did Bran have to come all the way up to the Three-Eyed Raven in the first place? What exactly did Bran learn from him and what are his powers now? What was the Three-Eyed Ravens overall plan/goal (concerning Bran and on a larger scale)? Ultimately, he (Bran) became the Three-Eyed Raven but what does this mean/entails exactly? (again, what are his powers/capabilities and what is his overall mission now?) In the end it became slightly more clear to me due to reading online/watching UA-cam videos, but based on the show itself it is rather confusing. So, let's hope Winds of Winter will be more interesting/insightful in this regard.
few more interesting questions : - why did TCOTF needed BR for ? what did he have that they didn't ? - what bran can do that BR couldn't ? - why TCOTF would sacrifice their lives for bran ? - how come BR didn't foresee the attack on his cave ?
Benjen tells Bran (and us - the audience) in S06E06 'You're the Three-Eyed Raven now' but the show does not make it clear/explicit what that means exactly (which causes my confusion to great extent). I had expected that the show would give us a lot more details in Brans Season 6 storyline; that the Three-Eyed Raven would really give detailed explanations (what he wants, where he needs Bran for, what he knows of the White Walkers etc.) and actual training to Bran (about magic, greensight, warging, etc.) (which I really had been looking forward to) but instead we only got those flashbacks (which were revealing and I really liked, but were overall not enough to leave me satisfied with Bran's storyline).
M dB you have 10 episodes(not including 7,8)per season which is not enough to show everything and you can easily somewhat understand what being three-eyed raven means
Can't get enough of these descriptions and narrations, espcially the part with Euron Greyjoy wanting to become a lovecraftian god or the different members in his crew.
I hoped that you might have shared some ideas about the fact that The Bloodraven strategically only showed Bran when Edaard Stark tried to save his sister but repeatedly prevented Bran from finding out Jon's true identity.
3 Eyed Raven is evil AF. He's the real villain IMO. Been using everybody to serve his purpose. They're like chess pieces to him. He wants Jon to fight Dany so they wipe each other out. Then it's easy pickings after it's over.
No no, he wants them to fight to create Azor Ahai. I almost think it was a bet between the 3 eyed raven and his lover/sister. That is why they are each on one continent and their actions are separate and almost conflict with each other. A Song of Ice and Fire, Ice being Jon Snow and Fire being Daneyrs. Neither is evil or good, they are only the ingredients to create Azor Ahai. However in the tv series they made Daneyrs go full bad guy, and shat the bed with the NK (which should have spread more throughout Westeros, and required greater combinations of forces + Euron Greyjoys collection of magic to actually defeat.) Imagine having to forcefully work with Euron to kill the NK after losing half of Westeros. It would have been much more epic. The tv series seems to be going "we are going classic, hero saves the day", and "other hero turn anti-hero that the real hero needs to stop" as the twist. I hope there is some mention in the final episode of Jon Snow being Azor Ahai. This is my theory.
This is way more interesting and more well thought out than what actually happens in the show.
Even the bad lame theories are better. 🙄
That’s why I’m constantly watching all of Alt X videos. Because his theories and explanation are much better than what D&D did to the show

"He pinky promised he wouldn't kill him, and then he totally kills him"
When a fan theory is actually better than the actual plot.
well this is mostly from the books, the show cuts like 70-80% of it. so even if we remove the fan theory from this video and leave only the facts from the books, it's still way better what what it ended to be in the show.
what we expected from him at the start was some real magical shit, something that can manipulate the world probably. seeing everything and maybe whispering and guiding the people to victory.

I hope to god GRRM's last book is better than the shite we had to sit through
GRR Martin may not have written WoW or DoS yet, but he's had 8 years to think about what he wants to put in there. I'm pretty sure it going to be amazing if he ever actually bothers to finish it.
Happens quite a lot.
"Drove a knife right through his eye"
"I killed the bastard, didn't I?"
"the gods sent the boar... sent to punish me,."
Also in a Clash of Kings Stannis says, "If someone said I had magicked myself into a boar to kill Robert, likely they would believe that as well."

James Gravil The three Frey pies.
James Gravil It was a joke.
A Warg is a specific type of skinchanger that controls a wolf, and ONLY skinchanging into a wolf is called warging

But it actually seems like it is true, and could be forcing Bran to see the dark side like Sansa and Arya. And it would be interesting to see how the stark children escape the dark as all of the (major ones) are currently less powerful than the people around them. Also all of them kinda signed up for this willingly.
LMAO

@@Blackhawk211 he's right your nitpicking get a life bro

8:15 also in Samwell III, ASOS at the end of the chapter there is a raven that helps Sam and Gilly to escape from a group of wights, here an excerpt:
He crept to the door. The air was so cold that it hurt to breathe, but such a fine sweet hurt. He ducked from the longhall. "Gilly?" he called. "Gilly, I killed it. Gil-"
She stood with her back against the weirwood, the boy in her arms.
"It's not fair . . ."
_"Fair."_ The raven landed on his shoulder.

The books are genuinely really good, the show sucked (unfortunately, great casting and acting for the most part).

So, his plan for Bran and John is actually a desperate attempt, guided by guilt, to stop the apocalipse he started.
Its so complex that even the author doesnt know how it ends
it's not about complexity, but more about a choice, see lord of the ring as super complex mythologie, but tolkien knew what it was leading to. it's the choice he made, also how do you know that the autor of GoT doesn't know exactly where he's going. (it might be true)

wamon are stoopit
You could use the
Encephalization Quotient.
Get the fuck outta here with that feminist bs. wamon are stoopit and they are only good for fucking, PERIOD (there is even a wamon joke for you there)

Man... I am so sorry the show has let you down! This video was more interesting that s08!
They should do a prequel, and do it right.
Already happening, 4 new shows have been confirmed by hbo
@@Ben.Hubble Really, that's awesome! I'm buying the books.
Ben Hubble LETS GOOO
Ben Hubble after what they did on Sunday, I can’t trust D&D to do well
So I’m out.
I heard something about a prequel "The Long Night"
Why the fuck would anyone want to watch that now?
I LOVE your editing style. The way everything flows so naturally makes things so much easier to keep up with
THE FINAL EPISODE MAKES SENSE NOW. THANK YOU.
Anyone hear about the theory that Hot Pie is Azor Ahai?
It rhymes at the very least!
Nah, Lommy my dude
Ridiculous, it's obviously Ser Pounce
Guys come on. It was always Young Griff
Come on. We all know that Jeyne Heddle is Azor Ahai.
Damn that was a good video (checks timecode). There's another FIFTEEN goddamn minutes!?
Exactly. This has so much quality content that other people would take 3-4 videos to get through it.
AM I the only one who think who writes these stuff? in such detail of these fictional characters...the creativity is unbeleivable
George RR Martin secretly watches these videos and laughs
You may be GRR Martin. How can we trust you?
He does
vaibhav bhatnagar whenever a good theory pops up and George sees it, HE INCORPORATES IT IN THE STORY, BUT THE OPPOSITE HAPPENS
I bet he does :)
vaibhav bhatnagar He's probably lapping it up as influence.
You're the reason I learned to read
LOL!
Loved the Bene Gesserit reference. Bloodraven's teaching to Bran?:
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Martin is too heavily into Easter Eggs
Brynden Rivers could be a great main character for a prequel series. Lots of untreaded ground to uncover for HBO.
So Bloodraven is a son of ice and fire like Jon Snow ?
Plus bloodraven looks like Ghost, Albino with red eyes
Ice and Fire like black and white, north and south, duality between two opposition sides?
in my opinion if Rhaegar had a dragon it be a white dragon with red eyes, like ghost and bloodraven?
soyon manlai makes sens
whats your opinion if some fans made an AU fan animation episode where Rhaegar got a white silver dragon with red eyes, and i bet his name be specter just like ghost?
Plus i bet Brandon would have been a better leader then ned, ned may joining the second sons like tyrion did be ironic, they are second born sons they joined the second sons?
soyon manlai Hell Yeah I would watch 😂
This video is an example how the information of the books may be analyzed and how you may create at least not bad ending for the TV show. Everything seems logical and connected. The three main plots (rivalry between Starks and Lannisters, Targaryen rise, King of the Night) should have climaxed probably in the battle of light and darkness (including mystical and magical powers).
Thank you for the video. Well done and very interesting.
True
6 seasons and so many sacrified character for absolutly nothing ! RIP Hodor
either quiet before the real storm, or a dud...
Turns out it's a dud
This just sold me the Jon is Azor Ahi. I no longer have doubts on that
It’s strange that the Mad King is Jon’s grandfather.
The Mad King is father and uncle to Jon's auntie gf.
His grandfather killed his other grandfather.
@@nunyabiznes33 that’s targaryean bloodlines for ya in a nutshell lol
This channel is one of my favourite to visit when I need some good GOT theories and content, it's probably because George takes FOREVER to finish the books,
D&D: lol wft is this nerdy shit? Just have Arya kill the bad guy and finish up here. Time for vacations!
And than arya poke night king with a pointy end
The puppeteer meme at 13:27 got me. It's the perfect description of the series
So when we getting a Brynden Rivers prequel trilogy. I’d settle for a Hodor stand alone film.
Hodor Cinematic Universe or nothing
Hodor? Hodor.
This is a prime example of quality content, great work, in this and all your videos.
Although the show didn't go this deep into Bloodraven's history it does in retrospect make the end a bit more disturbing..........and less disappointing. Hopefully, Martin will flesh out this idea more whenever we get the last two books.
How does King Robert puppeted Hot Pie? Now thats a theory Id like to see
Didn't you hear? He's Azor Hotpie, the Pie that was promised! If not for him, Arya wouldn't have killed off the white walkers. And King Bobby is the reason Arya and Hotpie met, so it's all really well written. Indeed, indeed.

lol, by having his little assassin sister materialize out of thin air to take the night king down and his massive amount of white walkers in just 1 stabby action.
It's a good thing Arya didn't ask Jaqen H'ghar to kill the Night King, because then there wouldn't have been any dramatic showdown at Winterfell.
Bloodraven gotta be one of the coolest names in the whole a song of ice and fire series.
One of the coolest characters. Wish someone would have covered it on screen!
Great story telling ! I really thank you for crediting the artists.
Sure we got a couple interesting flashbacks and revelations (and of course the superb episode _The Door_ ) but a lot of questions were left unanswered (or answers were left implicit)... e.g.:
Why did Bran have to come all the way up to the Three-Eyed Raven in the first place?
What exactly did Bran learn from him and what are his powers now?
What was the Three-Eyed Ravens overall plan/goal (concerning Bran and on a larger scale)?
Ultimately, he (Bran) became the Three-Eyed Raven but what does this mean/entails exactly? (again, what are his powers/capabilities and what is his overall mission now?)
In the end it became slightly more clear to me due to reading online/watching UA-cam videos, but based on the show itself it is rather confusing.
So, let's hope Winds of Winter will be more interesting/insightful in this regard.
few more interesting questions :
- why did TCOTF needed BR for ? what did he have that they didn't ?
- what bran can do that BR couldn't ?
- why TCOTF would sacrifice their lives for bran ?
- how come BR didn't foresee the attack on his cave ?
M dB for me it wasnt that much confusing
Bran learned to become the Three Eyed Raven the same way Arya learned to become a fighter capable of taking on Brienne of Tarth.
Convenience!

Bloodraven: "It makes for more dramatic TV."
Bran didn't sign up to become a tree boy, he signed up to become a tree BOI
Word up yo
This is my theory.
vikingjedi This is 100% correct
