    Trapped in the house with everything going on in the world and I thought, I might actually have all these ingredients in the house!! I did so I made this and it was amazing. Thanks for the inspiration. I know that I am going to make it again!! Adding the dried cherries that I have in the pantry to make this even more yummy!

      Be lucky to have a home. And your probably not living next to businesses with bars on their window and graffiti in the alleys😊 so ya....be lucky and grateful 🎉. Most people only see the world's problems and the filth of America on TV not in their own neighborhoods and definitely not in their own households🎉

    I made this last year right after I found your channel, and seriously, you have ruined me for any other granola. I store it in the snack pantry in half gallon mason jars, and it lasts quite a while. Thank you for all the great content you provide.

    Finally got around to making this recipe this morning since I was out of granola but miraculously had all the ingredients on hand to make this, sorta (replaced 1/3c honey with maple syrup since I only had 2/3c honey. It doesn't have the same crunch I'm used to with store bought granola, but it made a whopping 3 lbs 6oz of granola with ingredients I already had, so I'd definitely call that a win.

    Oh my goodness! I added golden raisins and cacao nips with almonds all together while baking. Still came out great. I did cut in half due to only 1/2 cup honey left

    Thanks for all you do. Fyi. Pure tupelo honey, doesn't crystallize, but it's the only honey I know of that won't.

    • @brilorify
      @brilorify 3 роки тому

      Honeys that don't crystallize that I use are Sage and Wild Flower. The most common honey at the grocery store is Clover honey and it definitely crystallizes. FYI, I don't like Tupelo honey, even though it the more expensive honey.

    Just tried it and came to this video so you would get a feedback. It is AMAZING, thank you so much Christine! I put more coconut and adjusted ratios for the dried fruits to have dates and almonds. Of course I had to make my own version for adjusted ratios in general but it still came out so great. I personally did not add any salt nor honey (just a squeeze of agave syrup) while I added a vanilla sugar packet (which you can find where I live) on top of the regular liquid vanilla. Didn't count the nutmeg nor the cinnamon, eyeballing was fine. I had one part granola with two spoons of *vegan* almond yogurt. Could not even tell it was vegan, although I have no specific diet.

    So let me get this right… I put each pan in for 7 minutes, one at a time. When pan 1 is done, take out and stir, add the second, bake 7 minutes, stir, then third. Then repeat this process again at 5 minutes each. But why not do the whole set of 3 for 7 minutes, stir, rotate the pans, then 5 minutes? Why do each pan one at a time? Just clarifying. I love all your content!

    My daughter is celiac and I've been buying the gluten free granola which costs a fortune and is hit and miss for yumminess. I finally tried this recipe tonight. I'll never buy granola again! Thanks so much! It really is delicious and customizable to her tastes.

    You reminded me of memories with my grandpa he is no longer with us. He had alot of bee gives and when I was little he would get his hat on in and go out past the huge garden and he said he planted bee's and I love the wax. I believed him for years it was always a joke with the family and this honey talk reminded me about that.. That looks awesome I may have to fix some but I don't need that much could you cut it in half by change? TFS,awesome recipe.. Blessings
