@dkcrawley9166 I did not clean before shooting, but I always inspect guns before I buy them to make sure they function like they should! It’s not necessary to clean a new gun and gun manufacturers also put break in grease on the gun. 124 grain is great for break in, but not 100% needed unless you have failures to feed? My understanding is that the springs come a little stiff on some of these from the factory and don’t like 115gr sometimes. You could probably alleviate the problem by leaving the slide locked open overnight.
If you have the slide back and a mag inserted, using the bolt release is always going to be the best option for chambering a round. When you pull the slide back and release, you always run the risk of it pulling forward some first and not getting a clean insertion. I almost never do a pull release.
You are correct and also its the fasts way to chamber! On the other hand there is nothing wrong doing it either way as long as you don't let your hand ride the side when its moving forward! CANIK'S slide release is super stiff if you try to use the the right side slide release!(AKA the side for lefties) I'm just saying I think its a good Idea to practice more then one way! Since I’ve bought this gun I’ve had the same issue I mean I love the look of it and when it actually shoots and really would hate to get rid of it so do you happen to have any advice that way I can keep this beauty.
It’s best to let the gun do all the work and send the round home using the slide release! Sometimes I rack the slide with my hand, but you got to be careful and make sure you don’t ride the slide. Practicing at home with dummy rounds is a good idea for everyone and I practice all the time to sharpen my skills for speed shooting! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask? Love my sc, got it all kitted out with a compensator, red dot, brass back strap, freedomsmith trigger and a laser/light
Sounds pretty sweet! You have any complaints on the freedom smith trigger?
What compensator did u install?

My understanding is that the springs come a little stiff on some of these from the factory and don’t like 115gr sometimes. You could probably alleviate the problem by leaving the slide locked open overnight.
Yes you are correct and I have a video talking about how I fixed mine that way! I have a lot of Caniks and videos on them at my home page.
@@pewpewswithmr.x awesome. I’ll check them out and give you a sub while I’m at it.
Just like you should practice shooting with both hands! I hope you stay in contact and Subscribe. Until next time and Thank you for Watching!

Have one in layaway!!! Bought the Mete MC9 few weeks ago!!! Go Canik!!!
Once I shot my MC9 I loved it, but to be honest I didn’t like the way it felt in my hand right away. Aluminium casing expands too much under the high pressure,if the loading chamber of the barrel properly supported aluminum casing causes to failure to eject mostly.

Mine has a huge chunk of the polymer coating missing off the right side rear rail tab in the frame. Has anyone else seen this and is it an issue? Worries me because the rails are integrated into the frame so if that part fails a whole new gun is the only solution. Been smearing a small dab of wheel bearing grease on that exposed section because im worried about rust. Please someone tell me this is normal? If not I think id rather just take a monetary hit and trade it in on a new one before a problem arises.
That’s a great question and my best advice is if/ you don’t feel safe shooting the gun then I wouldn’t! It’s hard to know exactly what you are talking about with out a picture or video? Nice, thanks for sharing. Honestly, I’ve been slacking. I have three and have only cleaned one of them. I’m about 200 - 300 rounds in on my SF elite and sc elite..... I may push them to see how long I can go without cleaning them. Great video bro....
Thank you, I love the gun! I was super impressed with everything the gun has to offer. It shoots amazing right out of the box, so I won't be running a red dot on mine! I just did that to my Taurus TX22 and posted the video yesterday on the results. I pushed around 700 rounds. My gun was extremely dirty, but 22 ammo is one of the dirtiest rounds you can shoot. Have you had any difficulty with malfunctions? I know it doesn’t like 115 grain ammo
I have not had any malfunctions at this point and the gun will run 115grain just fine after break in is complete.

I got mine pre own no box one mag for 376 tp9 elite 15 rounds trigger is Crisp I never used dummy rounds I always used fmj or hollow rounds on any my firearms what other mags can this gun take besides pro mag?

Is the slide stiff like the hellcat?
I cant remember off the top of my head, but i have time tomorrow to look in to that for you. I'll send you a follow up massage after I see what I think.
