I have the TX22 compact and I've put about 3,000 rounds through it so far without any issues other than the occasional fails to eject, which is not uncommon for .22LR. Just don't try to feed steel cased ammo through it, it will jam every time. It's cleaned about every 500 rounds or so and no issues so far. I love the lil guy, it is blast to shoot.

I have two of them. Both of them needed the mags cleaned out and lubed. Other than that, they work fine. But I will say, both are finicky about types of ammo.

After watching this video, I went ahead and bought the Tyrant and another brand name comp. I had no problems with the Tyrant. The second comp I bought was also flawless. The edge goes to the Tyrant because it does not require Loctite.

( Canik ) is notorious to be tight. Best thing to do is take you some 2000 or 1000 sandpiper and sand on the bottom little bit of a time little time until you get it where to slide in next time don’t go too far cause you go too far you rent your sidejust a little tail from a guy bought a mechanic a long time ago and found out the hard way that you can’t beat them on well I did but found out later on there’s a better way in it sanding

Why would you put a compensator on a 22lr? What optic are you running on the Compact?

They do come with a lifetime warranty and all firearms have a breakin period tp iron out bumps. My Kimber K6S that cost 3x the price of a GX4 went back to Kimber with a cylinder that locked solid after 357 magnum recoil.

I cleaned my TX -22 last evening and closer inspection the pistol chamber is filthy, it looked like clay in the corners of the chamber it was unreal. Looked like fine sand. I broak it down completely cleaned it completely and it should be good to go. My ammo must be nasty.

Thank you. My TX-22 Compact has become a fail-to-feed mess after 900 rounds. Unfortunately, it has a mechanical accuracy of ~24 MOA as well. Waiting on Taurus to decide the way ahead...

Why not just buy the 10mm version and you can shoot 40 for city and 10mm for forest? Well I guess thats why springfield got rid of the 40 s&w version cause I can't find it forsale anywhere anymore

You ever had any issues with the safety not engaging?

I have two of these pistols. I used a small washer to shim mine, I think I will re-do mine with the piece of credit card . I don’t know if the newer pistols have problems because mine are close to 20 years old. I have had no other problems with mine.

It appeared that the Smith M&P had noticably more muzzle jump than the Springfield. Was that the case?

I have the Heritage. Taking them out in bad weather will create lots of rust I've found. Now every time I re-blue it the rust keeps coming back. Part of the alloy world I suppose.

They are Garbage. We had one that had a barrel so loose that it shook. The ejector housing was screwed in so an employee thought the loose barrel was fine. Sent he back for a refund because spitting lead hit a kids cheek. Taurus said no refund. They are a piss.poor company

I’ve shot a lot of 115g silver tips. I had a 500 round case that lasted a long time. Never a malfunction through 6 different pistols. It’s your pistol most likely.

You should never use metal cleaning brushes on polymer/plastic/carbon fiber parts. That could create more burrs than you remove.

To clean those mags after cleaning just hold them under hot spraying water then shake them off and their all dry and clean! Same with the rest. You will be amazed how clean it will be! Once the metal gets how the water won't stick o it!! Spic and span!! Then lube it up! Been doing this over 50 years!!

I bought that Smith and Wesson 10mm 2.0. Haven’t shot it yet. I did order the 24# guide rod from Gallaway and extra power mag springs from Springer Precision. Did my homework. I also did purchase a Holosun 507c x2 gr. Can’t wait to run some ammo through it!

the string trick is the only thing that would work for getting the spring back in, i contemplated suicide like 3 times, by far the hardest lefty swap ive ever had to do
