Springfield just released new versions of the TRP, which are VERY NICE, this version is still available because it is Kommiefornia Legal. Now, is it still good? Absolutely, the ONLY thing I changed on mine was the 2 Piece Full Length Guide Rod, which I REALLY dislike!!

When you switch out the guide rod with standard spring plug, was there any notable difference in the action? I too am a fan of old school and looking to get me a stainless TRP.
NOT at all, I haven't used a Guide Rod in over 15 years, I use them when I first get the guns for the original Video, then, they come out quickly!!
