March Outturn - Cask 53.440 Metamorphosis, 12 years of Islay brilliance; nine years in an ex-bourbon hogshead, three years in a 1st fill Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead!
Absolutely divine - it's unmistakably a sweet peated whisky on the palate, the integration of sherry with peat is masterfully done. This cask will not last long on the website when it launches on the first Friday of March. Check out the full video for some insight into this beautiful cask.
Available to purchase on Friday, March 1st, midday AEDT. The full March Outturn is available to preview on the bar at Whisky & Alement in Melbourne, so swing past if you're around.
