My grandpa graduated in class of 1963, he remembered it very strongly the day on Nov 22 of 1963 when kennedy was killed in Dallas, at the time he was attending montana high school while also heading to his next class upstairs & at that exact moment while on his way the principal had made an overhead announcement stating that the president had been shot, everyone froze and stood in silence he told me. this song brings back memories, I'm 19, so I'm not talking about that, but when I was 17 I was a junior in high school and I had heard it, and I was singing it to myself quietly because it was caught in my head, and as Soon as I caught myself, there's this cute girl five feet away from me who caught me as well... named kennedy, and I think that was probably the first time I made a girl blush along with me while I was busy making an ass of myself. good times.
If I weren't a Republican and had been alive in 1960, this ad well may have brainwashed me in to voting for Kennedy. A truly brilliant ad. Score one for the other side. That being said, I think Kennedy was actually a pretty decent president. He genuinely loved America and stood up for what he believed was right, regardless of which party it aligned more closely with. That's a lesson that our leaders in Washington today need to learn.
kevin johnson Kennedy cut taxes and encouraged the passage of civil rights legislation, even if he dragged his feet on it. Johnson was a racist who used civil rights to get ahead politically.
@C caymer The laws were sent to congress by Kennedy but weren't approved because of the Republican majority. Johnson used Kennedy's death to convince congress to pass them when he became president. Johnson wasn't a civil rights activist and only got them passed because he wanted to convince other countries to be Democratic in order to win the Cold War.
@C caymer "Labor issues also gave Kennedy ample opportunity to stake out his position, although he had little sway over the Republican drafted legislation. Republicans, who controlled Congress, saw this as their opportunity to roll back many of the pro-union provisions that had been adopted during the Roosevelt era. The House passed an anti-union bill early in the 1947-1948 Congress championed by the chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, Fred Hartley from New Jersey." www.archives.gov/publications/prologue/2017/spring/jfk-congress

They fr brought this banger back for the super bowl
this song brings back memories, I'm 19, so I'm not talking about that, but when I was 17 I was a junior in high school and I had heard it, and I was singing it to myself quietly because it was caught in my head, and as Soon as I caught myself, there's this cute girl five feet away from me who caught me as well... named kennedy, and I think that was probably the first time I made a girl blush along with me while I was busy making an ass of myself. good times.
This brought back memories of two years prior? Ok..
Crashmaster Mike
Wait wher you in Mr. Stock’s Junior civics class?
what was his name
Greg Montagna lol, so a memory is invalid if it was only 2 years ago? where’s your point
You are now 23 congrats
One of the best political campaign songs ever.
ftsjr Agreed!
I’m not a Democrat by any means (I’m a centrist) but listening this makes me sad for a possible era that we were robbed of.
Not we have to chance to right the wrongs of the past: Vote for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr in 2024 for President!
Yep, the Super Bowl ad brought me here.
“ *I like your funny words magic man* ”
If I weren't a Republican and had been alive in 1960, this ad well may have brainwashed me in to voting for Kennedy.
+nice meme Thank you for speaking truth to power.
He would be considered a republican if thrown into modern day politics.
Here from the superbowl
This was the smartest campaign move of all time, the people who only get there news from tv are the same people who recognize the KENNEDY name
I really enjoyed this song, well mostly because it is a song about John F. Kennedy.
I enjoy John F. Kennedy, mostly because he was a great President and this song lol.
Yes
@@arianbehnami1050 how rude!
If Caroline ever decides to run for office, this should be re-worked as her campaign song.
Caroline Caroline Caroline Caroline Caroline Caroline For me!
Man this song is a real banger!
It really gets stuck in your head!
I love it! I WANT this song stuck in my head!
mind blowing ly awesome
Rfk jus recycled his uncles whole ad campaign 💀
Kennedy was an intelligent and courageous politician, who paid with his life for his convictions.
He was the best president
1917 - 1963
Kennedy is better in approval ratings though and better at attracting lots of young voters even though you say Trump is better Kennedy would destroy Trump in a election and some republicans might agree
@@arianbehnami1050 😂😂
@@arianbehnami1050 lmao
@@arianbehnami1050 yeah we do think ur joking
He’s definitely top five, but there are better (Lincoln, TR, FDR, and Jefferson).
Who's here from the Super Bowl? I couldn't have cared less about the game, but flew into the living room when I heard those first few notes.
Love this ad. I sure wish we can have campaign promo clips like this.
Saw it recreated during Super Bowl
Who’s here after they saw this on the superbowl commercial?!
I figured it had to be a take-off on a JFK ad. Amazing that they ran 2 minute political ads back then.
WE BE GOING TO THE MOON WITH THIS ONE🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯‼‼‼‼
Love it! No way in h311 we landed on the moon. Obviously a hollywoodhoax 🌚 😂 but it’s all about the spirit he embodied.. a dying breed these days 💯 🙌🏼
@@IruleKidsdrool
you actually don't believe we managed to get our first celestial body in a multi-staged tube stuffed with fuel with people at the top in a capsule????
but yeah his spirit be real strong
ngl This is my favorite campaign ad. It's so creative and the song goes hard not gonna lie. Here after the super bowl lol
I’d vote for him, and I’m not even a democrat. This song is amazing.
Honestly, he is probably one of the best Democrat Presidents ever. I know a lot of Republicans and Non-Democrats who love JFK.
@@lockheedmartin2112as JFK, thanks
Unfortunately he wound up doing LSD and screwing interns in the White House
Who’s here after Robert F. Kennedy played this as his 2024 Super Bowl ad?
I thought he was recycling his father's ad, only to come here and find out it was his uncle's.
This ad is surprisingly relevant again....62 years later, his nephew is now running.
His nephew has zero chances of winning though.
@@nschuehly Yes!
@@joedoesasmr7972 You mean "Yes!" in the sense of "He can win"?
@@nschuehlyNo, I said, “Yes!” in agreement with you. His nephew reused this ad in a Super Bowl commercial about 63 years later
Anyone here after the superbowl showed this campaign commercial?
Who's hear after the super bowl?
Nobody:
The thumbnail: *KEN*
His nedy flew out of the car
Anyone coming back to this after the new RFJ Jr. ad?
We might have another Kennedy running for 2024
I saw this in high school like 6 years ago and I still can't get this song out of my head
"Its strictly up to you"👌
ITS BACK 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The super bowl ad💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️
