  • Vedanta class taught by Swami Tadatmananda at Arsha Bodha Center.
    Videos of all classes taught so far are available here: • Upadesha Sahasri - One...
    Text with Swami Tadatmananda's translation available here: arshabodha.org/teachings/upad...
    Vedanta is not a subject matter, a spiritual doctrine, or a philosophy - it is a method of self-inquiry (atma-vichara) based on the wisdom (vidya) of the ancient rishis, as found in the Upanishads, a part of the sacred Vedic scriptures. This method can lead you to discover your true, divine nature (sat-chit-ananda atma) and gain moksha, freedom from suffering.
    Swami Tadatmananda is a traditionally-trained teacher of Advaita Vedanta, meditation, and Sanskrit. For more information, please see: www.arshabodha.org/

    Thank you Swamiji for another profound lesson from witty Shankaracharya. Hypothesis was amazing and special, and so important as it clearly shows that it is not the transformation that we have to go through but recognition of ourselves as Brahman. Blessings! Om Shanti! 🙏

      I'm rewatching this now and still picking up new things 😂 I also rewatched the Dakshinamurti Stotra video Swamiji has on his channel. I picked up a keyword there that I forgot in this journey that sealed it for me. "Non-Dual" Brahman. I forgot that it's non-dual and there's no need for transformation indeed, as I already AM! 🙏 The video can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/uDr1S4jvylk/v-deo.html

    The logic is impeccable. It is "higher reasoning" of the highest order. It is like an invisible bridge that lifts us from the finite to the infinite ... where we always were, to begin with.😂

    You are becoming what you are.

    • @alukuhito
      @alukuhito 5 місяців тому

      Who's the "you" that's becoming "you" though? They're not the same. The "you" that's seemingly becoming is Jiva, but you are not Jiva.

      @@alukuhito There is no progressing/becoming in such a case. Becoming suggests you are not what you are.
      A car cannot approach a street it’s already on.
      Can I turn 5 when I’m already 5 (years old)? In such a case, there’s no “turning”.
      The only thing to do is realize/acknowledge.

      @@ant_heartSo, why did you use the word "becoming"?

    • @ant_heart
      @ant_heart 5 місяців тому

      @@alukuhito because part of the message was speaking on becoming.

    Humble thought- enlightened person has nothing to do any karma, leave alone nicdhe dhyasan. The person already did whatever to be done once enlightened. I remember what Saint Sadasiva Brahma Indral said. Other enlightened and Upanishads also mentioned. Am I missing anything, Swamiji .?
