Vedanta is not a subject matter, a spiritual doctrine, or a philosophy - it is a method of self-inquiry (atma-vichara) based on the wisdom (vidya) of the ancient rishis, as found in the Upanishads, a part of the sacred Vedic scriptures. This method can lead you to discover your true, divine nature (sat-chit-ananda atma) and gain moksha, freedom from suffering.
Swami Tadatmananda is a traditionally-trained teacher of Advaita Vedanta, meditation, and Sanskrit. For more information, please see: www.arshabodha...
Salutations, Guruji! Thanks so much for a wonderful session with life lessons of today to complement Sri Shankara’s timeless words of wisdom. Om Shanti 🙏🏼
Wow, we are lucky that at least some of the scriptures are still available for all of us.
And punyaatmaaen like swamy still help us understand what great sages envisioned thousands of years ago
Pranam Swami ji
🙏 Thank you Swamiji.
I love this lesson also because I understand misdeeds of my youth, mistakes, etc have not polluted me. I am not sinful 😊
I am delighted that you see it that way 🙏 self-acceptance ➡ Self-realization. True-Self simply can not discriminate. As Swamiji says, it's all junk Float in water now my friend 🙏
That's a feel-good class Swamiji 🙏 Thank you for this lesson 💜
Swamiji I feel so good when these classes come on time. I know you are well. Jai Gurudev. Stay healthy always.
Thank you, Swami-ji. 🙏
Namaste 🙏
thank you!!!
I have an interesting thought about 49:00. This lesson explains how we can love everyone. When faced with a person who commits sinful deeds and lets hateful thoughts come out as foul words, we can love them. This is because the atma in them is not polluted by their thoughts or deeds. The imposter ego is NOT who they are. Atma is always pure and worthy of worship/service/love. We need to see who they really are. The actions and thoughts (good or bad) aren’t them.
Edited for clarity
Namaskar Swamiji. Thank you for another wonderful lesson. I never agreed with teachings who claim that ahankara have to be destroyed. How can you even destroy something that came from the Source? As you've said it has a functional purpose in this world. And in highest stage of enlightenment it simply merges back into Brahman. 🙏
The peepal tree, also called Ficus religiosa, belonging to the family Moraceae, is a variation of the fig tree known as the bodhi tree. The word 'Ficus' in Latin refers to 'fig', the fruit of the tree and the word 'Religiosa' refers to 'religion', as it is sacred in both Buddhism and Hinduism
Rūpa

When Jiva experiences pen, Jiva doesn't become a pen ✅
But when Jiva experiences sadness, why does Jiva become sad? 🤔
