Vedanta is not a subject matter, a spiritual doctrine, or a philosophy - it is a method of self-inquiry (atma-vichara) based on the wisdom (vidya) of the ancient rishis, as found in the Upanishads, a part of the sacred Vedic scriptures. This method can lead you to discover your true, divine nature (sat-chit-ananda atma) and gain moksha, freedom from suffering.
Swami Tadatmananda is a traditionally-trained teacher of Advaita Vedanta, meditation, and Sanskrit. For more information, please see: www.arshabodha...

Thank you, Swamiji!
Pranam Guruji❤🙏
wonderful
*CRUCIAL FOR VEDANTA TO WORK*
10:19 - To make sure that it isn't left as a concept. The unchanging consciousness that we are talking about, is the consciousness that reveals the activities of the mind right now.
Concept destroys the effectiveness of Vedanta.
Ground it in the reality of our experience right now.
Thank you, Swamiji 🙏 You couldn't have made that clearer 🙏
🙏
Salutations, Guruji. Thank you for the wonderful class focusing on deha vasana and the all important I-thought. Om Shanti 🙏🏼
Pranam Guruji 🙏
Great lesson Swamiji. Interesting, earlier today when meditating, I started with contemplation on deha vasana. And then tuned into a lesson which was about deha vasana. Fantastic synchronicity. The root of deha vasana is I am, ahankara and it is a very stubborn root, but it is dissolving steadily and slowly by constant practice. Consistency is the key, you need same when exercising to lose weight. Lol. But it is true.... It works like that. 🙏
Hello friend, what is the difference between Jiva and Ahankara? 🙏 I'm not confident that I know the difference
@@dangem5022 Hi! Excellent question. To be honest "I think" I know the difference but am not confident as you yourself said. It would be great if Swami could answer that question. 🙏
@@makingofmandala7264 🙏 Thank you friend 🙂 I'll email Swamiji about it. This question has been on my post-it note for weeks now. On one week I think that "I think" I know then the following week I'm not so sure 😂
thank you for the funny joke at the end!
42:07 🤣🙏 Pivot point is unchanging, the rest is "seemingly" ever-changing 🙏
