I just run 40k models and use their lore. OPR is slowly building their own universe but 40k has so many untold stories

One of the things I like about Jay is that he never neglects the balls.
I love One Page Rules. Gives me the freedom with my Tau (DAO Union) that GW doesn't give me. They fix the Tau's lack of close combat options by giving battlesuits close combat weapons. I have a team of BattleSuits with flamers, shields, and plasma swords. I used PiperMakes Koi battlesuits for them. They look FANTASTIC.

So stoked to see you getting into OPR. I've always loved GW minis but the game never grabbed me. I found OPR a year ago and it's revitalised the hobby for me. Now collecting and working my way through a big Guard army ATM. Keep up the good work

I am simple man. I see One page rules - I upvote. (OPR fixed EVERYTHING worng with 40k. Warhammer has edge only on vast lore, but OPR is cathing on that also)

Pro Tip for extra speed when you really don't have the time:
Do everything twice as fast. IThat way you only need half the time!
For example, I played this video on double speed and you finished in just ONE DAY (or 6 minutes)! :)

Firefight is so cool and quick to do. At 300 points, a game is usually over in 45 minutes. Less if one of you have bad dice rolls

I still adore OPR, but not enough people want to give it a chance. It's a great game that you can use any models and your imagination has no limits.
Cheap out to muzzle burn acrylic hack: Aged brozened gold, color shift flash purple.

I actually kinda liked one page rules grimdark future. It was almost like pre-10th edition
For those who don’t know, you can play OPR as an alternative to 40K, AOS, killteam, Warcry, battle fleet gothic, and warhammer fantasy battles, so if you have any models from those ranges, you should be able to make an army for OPR 👍👍

At the end you airbrushed some blue over the snow to give it a colder look. Do you think you could get a similar effect without the airbrush by mixing a drop of a blue wash or contrast paint into the snow and gloss medium mix?
I use ink mixed with flow improver as a wash and it works.
Blue should't be a problem unless the snow soaks paint.
I really really hope you go over what you think about opr in the next models and memories. I've been subscribed to their patreon for well over a year now but haven't got the chance to play it because it's been really tough to even consider trying to convince my already war hammer playing friends to try literally anything else. But All the same. I really want to know what you think about it because I was respect your opinion on war game stuff
One page rules flows really well and is a great intro to AoS or 40k. Nice to see GW copied some things for 10th edition from them too
considering that the first two models were done with an even lazier version of slapchop they look damn nice as a tabletop ready model, just needs some simple highlights and glows

Hey Jay, how are your nuln oil washes so matte? Whenever I wash, it looks glossy and sticky 😅
Make sure to shake the bottles really really well! Maybe cut off some sprue bits to ensure it's mixing up anything that's settled to the bottom
This happened to me with my nuln oil, I think the mediums must separate out sitting in the store for so long
Iirc Jay's mentioned that GW changed their nuln oil and agrax earthshade. He still has a bunch of the old formula so maybe you have the new?
