Breathing new life into this Beethoven masterpiece is something he would have loved. I hope Benedetti and Grynyuk perform the whole piece. Benedetti may be the greatest living violinist, also the most intelligent.
I played on In Tune twice years ago with my string quartet, and I found it the most unconducive situation to play! I found it hard to believe that there were people listening live to us from this small basement room. It just felt too surreal to me! Obviously Nicola is much more experienced and used to this situation than me, she looks completely at ease.
Great playing! What kind of shoulder rest is that? How is it attached to the violin? It doesn't appear to have "lips" that grab the edge of the violin like a Kun rest does.

She is more beautiful than her strad... okay, okay... lovely playing as well! Sweet tone, laudable lightness of touch, refined intonation, nice interpretation, etc. Agree with previous comment re: her beautiful and fullsome vibrato! BTW, what do people think about her instrument? As she has said, it is not the loudness but certainly has an appealing sweetness and evenness of tone. Imho though, I have come across $400 semi-factory made copies that don't sound in any way inferior... Sorry about not being PC on several fronts... mea culpa!
Exquisitely beautiful performance by both musicians. Thank you for sharing.
This “comm Union” and discussion between the 2 players are just fantastic! Thanks for sharing this moment with the public!
Nice bow hand pictures of Nicola Benedetti’s right arm! Great to freeze frame.
Bravo!!!!! Excellent performance for both two players, WOW this is much more than expected, especially amazing piano playing
Great performance. I like that she also looks very relaxed, in casual clothing and complete command of her instrument.
Excellent playing, including the violinist.

she is so cool, the way she keeps the violin with her chin.... what a talent and beatiful woman.

Hank Zauderer yes it is great
what a lovely interpretation
She has a fantastic arm vibrato.
She is fantastic but certainly doesn't have a arm vibrato.
Hi Raoul! I think it's actually an arm vibrato (you can see how it starts at her elbow), but what would you call it?
Woaw ))))) What a stunning performance by both of you 🎻🎹👌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏻Bravo)))) Incredible finger picking on the violin 🎻. Jaw dropping ))))))
Heaven to me!
Divine! Glorious!

so coool. What a Bird! And oh yeah - she really flyes! :)
non vedete come tutto è più bello accanto alle sue vibrazioni?
I wish that I had lessons from you!
not to reduce a great performance to such a small detail, but those were some impressive trills at 1:10
