Dude, insanely underated the story telling data editing narrating professionalism. I clicked on this video expecting over 10k subs for sure, Keep going man your going places.
I think that the most important thing in raw accel is to adjust and try the curve for yourself individually and not just copy from anyone. For example, a very good friend of mine uses the curve type "motivity" with an acceleration of 0.075 and a twenty offset, and an outputcap at 1.9, while I use a "natural" curve with 0.1 acceleration, 3.2 cap and no offset. In-game we both use 120 edpi as starting sensitivity, but even though my acceleration curve increases more and the cap is higher, his senserivity feels too high for me.
Honestly, I can’t believe I had to be told to try mouse accel instead of thinking of it myself. It seems like such an obvious thing to try especially since I’ve always been on very low sense and have been wanted a compromise between high and low without giving up my accuracy forever.
I've been using mouse accel for 10+ years and just would like to point out one takeaway from that time which will explain why it is almost ready for public consumption, but not quite. Let's just quickly start with what you will be trading off; True that you will get the "compromise between high and low without giving up my accuracy forever", but you will be trading this for an increased time to build that muscle memory. If you are not the type of player that is planning on putting in a high amount of hours training your sensitivity relative to non-accel players, then mouse accel is absolutely not for you. However, if you do put in those hours, you will eventually catch up to non-accel players by the time you reach the plateaus of your limits. Once you hit this point, the effects are amazing. I want to include a video of me at my peak with mouse accel, because there are not many out there showcasing its potential superiority. ua-cam.com/video/y-1BuKoGSsI/v-deo.html . I set the link to play at 0:48 so you can see the most extreme showcase; a 180 flick shot. Though realize to get to this level, I had almost exclusively been playing call of duty since CoD 1, using the in-game command cl_mouseaccel (allowing me to maintain the same accel curve through multiple games), and was training 70 hours a week at this peak. So again, the mastery time is the real trade off; I was able to have top tier precision aiming, but when it came to fast-motion hand movements, the mouse acceleration was making my top speed faster than almost anyone else. Now, how does this all tie into why I think mouse accel is almost ready for public consumption, but not quite? +The amount of videos/posts on mouse accel that actually explain the trade off that I previously stated: NOT THAT GOOD +The way I was able to maintain my accel curve by almost only playing CoD and Quake (which had the same cl_mouseaccel command and curve), you can now do with drivers such as InterGui and RawAccel: VERY GOOD, but missing a specific tweak that will aid your brain in memorizing your acceleration curve. These drivers along with sensitivity conversion tools have been a blessing in allowing you to maintain your mouse accel memory from game to game. But, you still have the curse of unlearning your muscle memory every time you are moving your mouse outside of a game. I have yet to see any videos/posts addressing this issue, and it makes me believe that either no one is considering the issue, or people think the issue is already addressed by the InterGui/RawAccel drivers adding the curve. It's not though, not until you match your desktop sensitivity to your fov sensitivity in-game. This is a tweak that can aid both accel and non-accel players, but from experience I can tell you that muscle memory for mouse accel is even more delicate. Only when this is all widespread knowledge will mouse accel be ready for public consumption. It can be used for what you said, to give a "compromise between high and low without giving up accuracy", but if you don't tackle the trade off sufficiently, you won't be able to achieve this. Under mouse accel's full potential, you can further have superiority in high or low sensitivity (depending on your curve). So in summary, you need to be using it over a long period of time, including a period of relatively high hours once you near your peak. You then also need to use sensitivity conversion tools to maintain your cm360 sensitivity/fov sensitivity/fov between all games and the icing on the cake, to match your in-game fov sensitivity to your desktop sensitivity.
very good work sir, west's vid was informative but i couldn't grasp all the things he was talking about. Your vid should be called a part 2 of his, its that good
Nice vid, man! I've been using mouse accel for 4 years, and yeah this method to building your curve (at least your first curve) is great, although I personally really dislike Input Offset, as it just feels way off when the accel finally kicks in (and with high enough Power you achieve pretty much the same result considering the sensitivity change in the beginning of the curve is almost unnoticeable)
RawAccel definitely takes some getting used to but it gives you the best of both worlds, a low sensitivity for consistency and micro adjustments, that can also give you a high sensitivity when you're needing to flick or clear corners fast. Headshot percentage used to be 15-17%, now it's 24-26%. I still need to adjust my offset because I find myself over correcting when micro adjusting, even with the low sensitivity that I have, but I'll never go back to playing without RawAccel.
Raw Accel made me aim so well that i felt like i was cheating, when i disabled it i stopped placing #1 in most games of CS, when i enabled it again i'm consistently #1 on my team. I legit go from very average to cracked, does that mean it's cheating?
Ok, so I didn't go through this whole process of recording, but watching your video I was able to figure out how to get a good curve for myself. I had tried to use this in the past but guides or suggested settings just didn't work for me. I'm a high sens player but I really needed something to help my small adjustments be more accurate and I think I've been able to get something that works for me. went into the range and just flicking between bots on their head it feels freaking amazing and I can still turn around quickly like I could before.
If you get a chance to use Custom Curve or the pro version, this mouse accel program includes a recording feature to allow a more accurate reading of min/max speed, ability to adjust the curve on the graph instead of doing all the math, quite a few other features that raw accel doesn't have and just overall a bit easier to use IMO.
No way you have under 1k subs. I thought atleast 20k subs. Your editing is good, your story telling is awesome. Im telling you bro, your gonna make it big

3:30 I use 10K DPI on a normal basis for gaming and general work and what not. What do i put in " sens multipler " if since i have to double my sens to 20k dpi
SALVOBEATS you are probably struggling with aim and are looking at this because 10,000 dpi is way too high, even if you have your in-game sensitivity set to 0.1 that is still a lot faster than what the majority of good players use, a common sensitivity thats a little fast is 800 dpi on 0.5 sensitivity so you should give that a try and see if you like it imo
I love how raw accel allows me to run a very low sens but sill feel versitile in clearing. As far as comfort goes i need gain off. Have an aggressive curve that caps out at aprox double my sens and stays there and the consistency of that is great. Its quicker to get used to than i thought. But i will say that it makes me perform very well in valorant but terribly in many aim training scenarios... Its a rabbit gole though as you might be tempted to make constant changes to your curve if you have a bad game. My advice to anyone would be to get a curve thats comforable and stick with it for a while.
Honestly I feel like the rotation is probably the best thing on there for newer people as it helps them keep head level when using their mouse, for me I’ve learnt and it’s basically like breathing to keep the mouse straight when moving it so if I went to paint it would still look straight
Even when I turn acceleration off completely and disable it, my sens is still super fast. Shutting down the program completely also doesn’t fix it. How can I go back
I would also suggest playing around with sens settings along with mouse accel outside of the game. I have a question i have seen people use OBS but do i need it in order to use raw accel or is it just because there are content creators making videos about it?
Mouse accel imo is pretty broken if you already have decent mouse control. Especially if your someone, like me, that literally switches their sense every single game and can’t decide on one, you kinda can get the best of both worlds with accel if you have the right curve.
It's really not bro, especially changing ur settings left and right that's not good, you’ll become inconsistent. Your brain is just tricking you into thinking it's good (aka placebo)

For someone with much less tac fps shooters is this something you’d recommend? My aim is HORRIBLE. I’ve only started playing KBM for around a year, but have played fps since I was six or seven (currently 20) my game sense because of this is really strong but I think my aim holds me back so recently I’ve tried to improve it. Is this something for beginners or would you recommend I get more comfortable?

Very interesting. I seem to be similiar in that I am skeptical as someone who has played cs for years at a good level on a static sens. I just stared Valorant this act and my aim could be better, I am currently sitting at around 30% hs percentage. I think just grinding the game will help me but this does interest me. Do you currently still use the accel and would you recommend trying it for someone in my position?
@@Cosmicmoralesit’s impossible for rawaccel to interact with your windows system in a way that would cause that unless you have the gui open. The driver uses pretty much 0 ram. Yes, that's the issue with the program, the inconsistency will have you going round and round like a yo yo changing different sensitivities and response curves, top of that the program eats ur CPU especially when u have it open running in the background, you can check it out in the task manager yourself.
this is a great video but at the end of the day mouse accel is just adding another variable to your aim. Even though you might improve in some areas, you're lacking in other areas just because of accel. The program is worth a try, but like you said in the video, if it works for you it works. You showed me something that might be interesting which was turning off gain which will basically just give you 2 sensitivities, your normal sens for aiming/tracking then jumping to a high sens for 180s, but even then, it's just another variable I'll have to find numbers to make it good.
You might not want an offset, it seems counterproductive and I too used to think it was a necessity but the more I play around with my curve the more it seems like the offset even hurts me.
You need offset if your starting sensitivity is "universal" (for precise shots and tracking) then at some crucial point the acceleration kick's in at flicking speed so you will get extra space on your mouse pad. It's like dividing your usual constant sens by two states. But different curves can work better or worse depending the game genre.
@@noble_lemon Note I said might, it seems unintuitive and I ended up going back to an offset but I feel like it's too one dimentional to say you need to use one.
Great vid - earned a sub, I’m immo and was thinking of picking up raw accel for the same reason as you, reaching a peak with aim. It’s been a few weeks since you uploaded - are you still using it? What’s the verdict now?

they stay there u don’t have to do it every time
This is fucking crazy cuz I just watched the same video today and decided to give it a try awsome video!
Thank you! :)
INSANW VIDEO THANK YOU
can i get your valorant crosshair?
is it safe
what res do u use?
crystal clear is a nice drink
love this
ive been using raw accel for about a month now and have been adjusting my settings alot. i use motivity and my sixshot aimlabs scores has improved alot, from 60k average to 90k now and 100k peak now, my gridshot scores however have gotten worse. i probobly just meed to adjust it again til i find the right setting.
Yes, that's the issue with the program, the inconsistency will have you going round and round like a yo yo changing different sensitivities and response curves, top of that the program eats ur CPU especially when u have it open running in the background, you can check it out in the task manager yourself.
@@Cosmicmorales you don't need the whole program running to use the accel
thanks man
this is a great video but at the end of the day mouse accel is just adding another variable to your aim. Even though you might improve in some areas, you're lacking in other areas just because of accel. The program is worth a try, but like you said in the video, if it works for you it works. You showed me something that might be interesting which was turning off gain which will basically just give you 2 sensitivities, your normal sens for aiming/tracking then jumping to a high sens for 180s, but even then, it's just another variable I'll have to find numbers to make it good.
im 3200dpi and sensevty in game 4 ineed setting
mw2
Good vid but I will not use it cause I want to play with higher sens
@@Chelsea_2001 no you can build many different types of curves even without offset. Depends what goals you want to achieve.
speed cap will slow your mouse cursor speed, its a gimmick variable
Great vid - earned a sub, I’m immo and was thinking of picking up raw accel for the same reason as you, reaching a peak with aim.
It’s been a few weeks since you uploaded - are you still using it? What’s the verdict now?
Will raw accel affect muscle memory ?
Yes
is it bannable?
I post valorant videos too so Ik how hard it can be but keep it up I liked and subscribed to ur channel !
I appreciate it!
bro i just started raw accell and this shit is INSANE. I have the microadjustments of low sens but the flickability of having high sens. Literally aim assist
I've been really enjoying it these past few days!
@@SignalTheWolf I think my curve is at like 80% rn but I started two days ago. I don’t think I can go back to a straight sens. My only concern is playing kovaaks if I practice with or without accel
@@GshockBeats Practice with accel
@@SignalTheWolf are you still using it?
@@GshockBeats wdym “80%”?
Very interesting
u guys need to sub to him bruh
It's the weed
Cheap mouse(that spins out) + raw accel = able to flick at low sens without the mouse spinning out
yo wanna play?
only tweak the offset everything else leave it
Is raw accel bannable
nope! It's widely accepted and used :)
