"Love Bites," does an absolutely incredible live version of a great Halloween song, called "Eagle Fly Free." It's definitely worth seeing. Helloween is a very talented, Spiritual band. Thanks for checking this out. 🤘👽
Just FYI the music video version cuts out the majority of the guitar work. I think if you saw the live version of this song from the Pumpkins United video, you may like it a bit more.
And that's why I like to watch your reviews Hurm, you just don't go around the bush. You like it, you like it! You don't, you don't! Helloween grows in you. The song gets long and it's true, but still, Helloween grows in you. The whole album it's a jewel for sure. Helloween's music it's very particular because it has a hidden beauty, but you have to discover it gradually. I appreciate your honesty Hurm!!! Check out Victime of Fate from the album Walls of Jericho. It will gradually blow your head at first listen!!
Thanks for reactin to this and please do more Helloween. This is a song that takes a few listens to really get in to. Best halloween song ever :D I think that in every long song there has to be something that makes you want to listen to it again even if you don't "get it" the first time, and for me in this song it was at the end after the last chorus when the short but fast guitar part starts, chills every time. That made me wanna listen this over and over again in my teens :P
Now this is the quintessential Halloween song. An epic song IMO. Be sure to check out the full 13 minute video on your own. Sorry you were not into it, but always be honest with your reactions. Us metal heads like it though. I would not recommend the short version of this, it cuts down the guitar solos, which I know you love. Happy Halloween.
Birth of Helloween should be attributed to Iron Fucking Maiden. Even though Helloween does have their own talent and personality as well. Their unique style stands out once Andi Deris joined the band.
One of my favourite Helloween songs, but you should have reacted the live version from Pumpkins United which is the current line up of Helloween (3 guitarists and 3 vocalist) as it the best version.
This track is a fan fave amongst Helloween fans... the edited video version left out quite a few progressions of the song, so it sounded incomplete (to me). Personally, I loved the song when I heard it in high school... I think this (and the epic track 'Keeper of the Seven Keys') was their attempt at making something like Iron Maiden's 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'... but Helloween's songs are mostly concise. Dio was the godfather of power metal, and Helloween was definitely the template of the genre... so many clones emerged in Europe from their sound in the 80's and 90's. U could check out other Helloween songs - 'Eagle fly free' ... 'Push'... 'Ride the sky'... 'I can'... 'Open your life'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥🎃
I absolutely love Helloween but I honestly don't even think this is one of their better songs, I really hope you give more of their stuff A shot because they have some amazing music.
Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 1 and Part 2 (2 separate albums) are in my opinion 2 of the best metal albums ever released by Helloween. You really should check them both out.
I agree Hurm try Keeper of the seven keys part 2 find the live version with this singer and the newer singer, they both sing in the band now and its amazing. Glad you did some Helloween on Halloween :)
this song is last on the album, and they knows why is it there, entire album is fantastic, but is much much better listen completely, they are preparing you all record for that last song .. *(which is very complex and unusual) btw the vocals are unmatchable of any vocalist, and Michael was only 20 years old _)
Thanks a lot for you incorruptible, straight, open and honest opinion. That is why I watch your reactions and became a subscriber. You opinion inspires me to check mine. Maybe you prefer "Keeper of the seven keys" (Helloween). The studio recording or some live act. The studio recording sounds more precisely (imo), any live act is much more vivid and powerful. 😁 Enjoy! 😊
The edited version is awful and should not even exist in my opinion. I agree that there is maybe too little going on in this song for it's length. That's why I always preferred "Keeper Of The Seven Keys", their next 13 plus minutes song.

Fun song! Some nice guitar work going on throughout! Their double guitar leads sound really unique! Kia Hansen is a metal god!
Just FYI the music video version cuts out the majority of the guitar work. I think if you saw the live version of this song from the Pumpkins United video, you may like it a bit more.
There is a full length music video, just FYI.
Do a reaction of “keeper of the seven keys” the self titled song from their 2017 pumpkins united tour! You won’t be disappointed!
And that's why I like to watch your reviews Hurm, you just don't go around the bush.

Agree Libero.

Maybe you should try their early works with Kai Hansen on vocals. The 1st Album 'Walls of Jerico" and the EP 'Helloween'.
This is a iconic power metal song, for me is a real masterpiece l love it......to begining to the end.

The tablets of the law of power metal
2 of my favorite bands, Helloween and Maiden, I’d recommend Keeper of the seven keys as your next Helloween outing
Great album micheal kiskes voice is combined to bruce dickinsons rob halfred and geoff tate
I like helloween is amazing. I think I a little too busy. Musicianship is excellent.
I think you would enjoy other songs from them much more - Eagle fly free, March of time, Dr Stein, Power... to name a few.
Greetings and Love from Germany again. Great,, german Metal rules, hehe...today no Maiden?

I'm a fan of Helloween but this song has never "done it" for me.
The edited version is awful and should not even exist in my opinion.

Totally agree it is the full version or nothing as the short radio edit version butchered the song.
Right of the bet: I don’t like this one.
Please check: Time of the Oath & The Dark Ride.
Its a hard song to get into the band with. You havnt heard eagle fly free or keeper of the 7 keys
I think, you just need some relistening.
