You know, when I was a teenager, I used to listen to Helloween a lot, the singer was already Andi Deris, and many people would say they preferred Kiske, because those were the golden years for the band, and because Andi sometimes would have a hard time singing Michael's songs by himself (which I totally understand, cause I do too when I try) and I would always say I loved them both, 'cause the songs from the Deris era are amazing too. When I first heard Kiske was not only coming back to the band, but also Deris was staying AND Kai Hansen, which is the guitarrist and first Helloween singer, that blew my mind. Then I saw an Andi interview, where he says they didn't know each other and they had to meet first to see if it worked. They spent a week or sth like that getting to know each other better and they became very good friends which, as we can see, adds a lot to the chemistry on stage. My teenage self inside of me was filled with joy, cause we can see in rock and metal such huge egos here and there, that even in my wildest dreams I would imagine this working so perfectly. When you mentioned not hearing the vocal backups, they are definitely there, it's just hard to tell without knowing what you're listening for - Kai Hansen is an absolute legend and has an extremely distinctive voice, you'll be able to pick him out of a crowd any day as soon as you know it's there and what he sounds like. Give anything by Gamma Ray a try, or for my personal suggestion, try "Temple of Hate" live by Edu Falaschi with him from the Temple of Shadows DVD that came out last year. I promise there is a 0% chance you'll be disappointed.
Helloween is an event not just a concert. The drummer is outstanding to be able to keep driving the band for so long Most bands would love to draw a crowd like they do. Metal fans are the best and the most loyal. I might add the friendliest bunch of people you will ever meet.
Growing up. Many people would ask me how I could listen to "This Nosie". Metal is just as much as an art as any other genre of music that has ever been made. I really appreciate when a outsider (not a metalhead) really stops and listens with the ears, and open mind to be able to capture I love about this music style. Thank you!
For more Helloween: A young Kiske would be interesting. They filmed a show in London in the early 90s (92, I think), which might be on UA-cam. *A Tale That Wasn't Right* is my recommendation for that one. It's a ballad and shows Kiske in terrific form. Also, hearing Kai Hansen, their original vocalist, sing might be interesting. He improved a lot from his early days in Helloween to his later singing in Gamma Ray. For A Helloween Kai song: *Ride the Sky* (never listen to that one in the car. You WILL break the speed limit!). For a Gamma Ray song with him I'd recommend *Rebellion in Dreamland* . There's a great live version of that one on youtube. Other Helloween songs with Kiske: *Save Us* - a less well known song and nobody ever recommends it, but I think it's awesome. His highs on that one are crazy! *Twilight of the Gods* *Eagle Fly Free* Other Helloween songs with Deris: *Perfect Gentleman* - a super fun and slightly silly number :) *The Dark Ride* - Probably best to pick the album version. There's live footage of that one but from what I remember the band wasn't on top form there. Again, a song, and album, that many people tend to overlook. Personally, I think it's one of their best. Slightly darker than what we're used to from the band
I'm not a singer, but I've heard of 'When the Sinner' (from Chameleon) is one of most difficult song to sing, in terms of technic (I don't know if is true, sorry)
This band was always good, in every phase, but when they decided to put both singers togheter they went to a new level. The amount of work in the vocals is impressive. I went to see them, they were openning for Scorpions, and my wife went because of Scorpions. The openning act made her a Helloween fan right away. Is a must go concert.
Oh yes, love this song. Saw Helloween in London on the keeper pt2 tour ( 1987/88ish). It was possibly the best gig I've ever seen. Young Michael was unbelievable.
He still is. It's amazing how he's kept his form through the years while other 80's vocalists can barely answer a phone call. Pumpkins United tour was extremely special.
@@peterlane6895 If we're going fully honest, he does not sound the "same" as 1987-88, anyone claiming this is either writting/saying without being objective or is just not listening, while he is still a top performer, he singing has changed thru the years and i don't mean this as a bad thing, just as a fact, he sounds different, more mature (obviously) and adds a lot more vibrato. The whole tour had the songs for all 3 singers convenience tuned 1/2 step down, have no doubt he can sing the songs in the original tuning, after all, he did that with Unisonic, March Of Time is particularly a breath taking song and he did amazing with that one, but those were shorter shows. In a way we should be thankful he "retired" when he parted ways with the pumpkins in 93 because that helped him a lot to keep his voice almost intact for us to be blown with his voice again in the "modern" age. And to be clear this is not bashing him, i'm a Kiske fanboy myself, just keeping it real.
Only having 10k likes to this video shows exactly how sad it is that so few people still know about this amazing band. Thank you for reigniting my love for them.
the fun part is figuring out who's singing the top line and who's singing the harmony, because they're trading places all over the place. what's cray, is deries has been singing all the top lines on this live for almost 20 yrs (it's originally a kiske song), and he's completely relearned and rearranged the parts he's been singing all this time for this new line up.
Helloween was 20 years to early out with their music,if they had come out in the 2000 they had blew the roof of all houses. The same with Dizzy miss lizzy who come out in 1986 but the music world wasent ready,so they got really big in 2001 instead
Deris and Kiske were meant to singer together forever. Both of them have great voices and are very different from each other. It's a perfect mix. Kiske has that angelical thing on his voice. Deris is more aggressive and has a deeper tune. Andi is my favourite and I think that's why he's still in the band after 27 years. He doesn't pretend to be Kiske. That's a very common mistake singers do when they have to step into someone's shoes.
Hi Elizabeth, this is my first time listening to this song, and I loved the performance. The Kiske/Deris duo on lead vocals w/ Kai Hansen on backup vocals was amazing, and Kai's guitar solo was fantastic. The drum mix was incredible, and it was great to see all the musicians having fun on the same stage. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! 💙
This is oldschool, and one of the best bands EVER. I saw them live in my hometown with this setup, and it was so cool. I like both Kiske and Deris, i think they're both amazing. I basicly grew up on their music. Amazing!
Seeing and hearing this entire breakdown, with all of the appreciation and recognition for the vocal and instrumental talent, makes me want to go back in time to the early 1980s into the 1990s, and tell all the people (ie: my Dad, teachers, clergy, PMRC, etc) who mocked me for being a fan of metal/thrash metal/etc, and dismissed the musicians as talentless hacks, and tell them all to: "SUCK IT!!" Watching this UA-cam channel, and the many metal song reactionms, is kinda like vindication for me. 😂 Thank You. ❤
If you enjoy Michael Kiske's voice, I wonder if you'd like the project he's in with Amanda Somerville, Kiske/Somerville, as well. My absolute favourite track is 'Silence', but most of the songs on the two albums they've released so far are pretty solid and they just sound splendid together, I really love the harmonies they create 🥰
I first saw Helloween on the Hell On Wheels tour in 1987, with Grim Reaper and Armored Saint. It seemed like most of the crowd were not into Helloween, but I was enthralled. I never heard anything like them at that time. The musicianship was amazing. Michael sounds exactly the same now as he did 35 years ago. There's a man who knows how to use his voice.
I love how this performance shows how respectful Andi is toward the older material and how much he has listened to Kiske's versions, picking up all his mannerisms and stylistic choices like the slight pitch bends and matching his vibrato.
Well i am addict for Elizabeths videos now. Her facial expressions when she hears something exciting is so cute and Attractive. More King Diamond, more Helloween and please look into Devil Doll from Slovenia. Devil Doll Sacreligium is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written.
I normally don’t watch vocal coaches on UA-cam because they tend to focus only On the vocals and not the performance. HOWEVER, you are different which is a great surprise I’m glad you enjoy everything about the performance I love Helloween is my second favorite band in the world. Loved this reaction I’m subscribing ! :)
Watching again. These two (along with James LaBrie) are my favorite singers ever. I am really glad you got to appreciate Andi in this song a little more. The guy is a vocal prodigy.
Kai Hansen, the guitarist wearing the long black coat, was once the lead singer in the band (early days), so you might be hearing him backing up Michael and Andi in many cases here. This band is in top form here…many decades after they came onto the scene! Thank you for this!!
Mankind from the same show would be great as well, as he had a single voice crack which is super rare on Kiske, also Your Turn as well as he also gets a couple notes wrong on the guitar and his reaction to both mistakes are priceless
I saw a live Helloween vid from 1987 and Kiske was like incredible in it. I don't think many people have heard that concert. The audio quality is bad though. But Kiske sings Guardians on it and it sounds really cool.
I was there and it was even more incredible than what can be seen and heard in the video. Seeing musicians play together for the first time playing songs from when I was a teenager ... amazing! Many thanks for your reaction & analysis Elisabeth. Always a pleasure to see and learn with your videos
6:40 My exact thoughts when I heard this song for the first time like 20 years ago. Such great songwriting, I'll never get tired of it. Truly magic and they did a great performance after all these years. My favorite part is that amazing twin guitar solo in the end.
It's amazing how much MORE I love ♥Helloween from watching the enthusiasm & joy it gives to the Vocal Coach / Opera Singer! :Þ So glad to grow up in the '90s & being introduced to such bands back then!!
I'm So impressed by their endurance, that is such a long time to be belting high notes. 'Hold my beer' Helloween - I Want out @ 3:55 ua-cam.com/video/FjV8SHjHvHk/v-deo.html
I'm old enough to have listened to Keeper of the Seven Keys when it came out. I was never a big fan of theirs, I've only got Keeper 1 &2. But when I watched that show, I realized how good they really were.
I love your excitement in seeing these guys play & sing together. It really is a special thing to see them all come together, so well, in this new combination of the band & just to be enjoying it so much! A total JOY :)
I saw Helloween on this tour, it was truly a great gig! There are actually three voices in the band, as solo-guitarist Kai Hansen was the bands original singer. When I saw them he did a couple of songs from their first EP and full length album, plus backup vocals throughout. Michael Kiske was recruited for their second album "Keeper of the seven keys part 1", which this song is on. All three vocalists are featured on the self-titled album Helloween released this summer, with some pretty awesome vocal harmonies prominently featuring all three voices. I´d also suggest you check out Kai Hansen's second band Gamma Ray with original vocalist Ralph Scheepers, Kai Hansen later took over the vocal duties in that band as Ralph Scheepers was recruited by Primal Fear. That guy also has an amazing voice, reminiscent of Rob Halford's. Kai Hansen is more of an acquired taste vocally speaking.
I can't listen to Helloween anymore.... It was one of my favorites but every time I listen to them now I start singing along and utterly destroying my vocalchords for the next 3 days. Actually managing to go up and hitting the notes is the worst part of it lol.. They are so good, loving it. Love watching your videos. Watching you react to music that makes you happy is just infectiously contagious and I can't help smiling while listening.
We REALLY need your reaction to Kai's Hansen Medley of the same show! His voice is such an important part on Helloween's history. Cheers from Argentina!
Helloween amazing and I love how Elizabeth gives another perspective in her analysis that when you listen to the song next the appreciation is so much more than when I heard this as kid and now as an adult totally different. Beautiful 💛
Thanks for also pointing this out! Now there are (at least) three people including myself who have mentioned this, but considering the sheer amount of comments, I'm afraid this information might still get easily overlooked. Hopefully, more people will mention this, so she will eventually take notice of it. Edit: Pleased to see she did!
Hi Elizabeth. I suggested that you do a reaction to this song a few months ago. I'm glad you're enjoying this incredible band, they're one of my favorites, since the 80's...
Who wants to see Elizabeth react to studio version of Helloween's We Got the Right and analyze it??? I think that song is one of the most impressive and most difficult vocals recorded of all time by any singer
Fan-tas-tic. There it is. Fantastic reaction to a fantastic song, which still keeps me focused, even if I´ve been enjoying this masterpiece from the very beginning. Andi and Michael together with three guitars makes this even better than original version. At the moment Helloween may be the best thing, especially live, what comes to heavy music. Keep 'em comin' , there´s plenty to choose. How Many Tears next, maybe ?
I loved the reaction to the high note sooo original! Also I will suggest it again and will keep doing it because I think you are missing out on one of the most unique voices in metal Nevermore.
Another epic music piece for the month of spookyness and creepyness: Dark Moor - Devil in the Tower Neoclassic/symphonic metal straight from Spain and an amazing one minute middle section of this very song which is very much Elizabeth's guilty pleasure of all time!! Dark Moor is one of those European Neoclassic/symphonic metal bands who are criminally underrated and almost forgotten. Their high time were the late 90s and 2000s years.
Excelente eleccion! Gran cancion y una banda poco valorada, seria interesante ver a Elizabeth descubriendo a Elisa C. Martin ya que hablamos de DM tambien.
Never thought about Dark Moor as something creepy or spooky, otherwise they sound triumphal. Great group and i would like to see them on this channel anyway
Please listen to: - Queen of the Reich by Queensryche - Cry of the Blackbirds by Amon Amarth (if you like vikings, you'll LOVE these guys) - The Sign of the Southern Cross by Black Sabbath - Abigail by King Diamond - Up All Night by Slaughter - The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden - Still Loving You by The Scorpions - Freak on a Leash by Korn - I, Caligula by Ex Deo
The solo parts you thought sounded like they were taken straight out of a Beethoven concerto are actually excerpts from the Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms, though sped up and obviously alienated. (Helloween also mentioned this themselves in an interview back in 1987.) The part starting at 27:37 sounds somewhat similar to the beginning of Hungarian Dance no. 5.
Watching how you react to the entire video is so cool. I grew up with these types of bands so it's great seeing someone who didn't have the experiences react to these guys. You make me laugh and smile seeing your true enjoyment of music.
Loved how you noted the Dickinson influence and you commenting on singing over blastbeats, although this is a power metal song, I've always thought that the more aggressive the music the more aggressive the vocals so it just makes sense that when you get to death metal, vocals turn to growls. Your reaction to the high notes in the chorus was great and I loved it too. Since you reacted to Iron Maiden's Writing on the Wall, it would be nice if you react to Helloween's Skyfall. Although it's a shame that the video is an edited "short" version compared to the album's original, I think you'll like the sci-fi element in it, you'll get a chance to hear Kai Hansen sing on it too and it's just a great song. Also, I'd recommend listening to some Rhapsody or Angra to listen to Fabio Lione, I think he's a great singer that often goes overlooked in reaction channels.
All those requests are great, have asked myself, but I'd say for Lione, we skip his Angra stuff in favor of Rhapsody or even Turilli/ Lione. For Angra, if we can have it (Shaman was taken down for copyright), Edu or André. 😉😉
When i hear this song, i am almost speechless, it is a masterpiece in my opinion. And wow they are so amazing live and all of those high notes, i can never get enough of high notes. It is funny, the only version i had heard before hearing the original version of this song, it was actually a cover from a band called Reinxeed, which is a swedish band co-founded by Tommy Johansson from Sabaton and his other band Majestica. That cover is amazing as well, because Tommy can do it all so damn well. Low notes no problem, high notes easy and all of the other in between as well. :)
During the video I was thinking of how much fun it must be for you during a rock concert like this. Awesome! When I was a kid, I studied music for 6 years and then one day I just quitted.. I've been watching your reacts, and I'm having so much fun by the way that you talk about music and reacts with expertise and creativeness (I love how you have fun during the reacts) that I'm starting to think I'm in love with music again *-* I guess it's time to take the dust out of the eletric piano once more Also it must be really cool to have you on a video game party, lol.
I loved this band when I was a teen and still listen to them to this day. I truly thought when I was young that I was the only person alive who heard of them. Great band and great analysis by you!
You need to listen to Amorphis: The Bee (an amazing composition), Among Stars (together with Anneke van Giersbergen, just wonderful!), Death of A King,... Just to name a few...

Hi! I really like the way you analyze performers, my favorite performers. I would like to hear your analysis of Candlemass, Nightfall (1987), tracks 1. Gothic Stone and 2. The Well of Souls - they are connected. They are performed simply by the amazing vocalist Messiah Marcolin.
Helloween is one of the finest heavy metal bands in the world. Especially those "Keeper"-albums were absolutely fantastic. Thank you for your reaction.

For a Gamma Ray song with him I'd recommend *Rebellion in Dreamland* . There's a great live version of that one on youtube.
Other Helloween songs with Kiske:
*Save Us* - a less well known song and nobody ever recommends it, but I think it's awesome. His highs on that one are crazy!
*Twilight of the Gods*
*Eagle Fly Free*
Other Helloween songs with Deris:
*Perfect Gentleman* - a super fun and slightly silly number :)
*The Dark Ride* - Probably best to pick the album version. There's live footage of that one but from what I remember the band wasn't on top form there. Again, a song, and album, that many people tend to overlook. Personally, I think it's one of their best. Slightly darker than what we're used to from the band
Last before the Storm (wacken) and Gardens of the sinners are great live performances as well. Best thing when Kai left Helloween, was Gamma Ray!
King of a thousand years, Perfect gentlemen....
I'm not a singer, but I've heard of 'When the Sinner' (from Chameleon) is one of most difficult song to sing, in terms of technic (I don't know if is true, sorry)
Dark Ride ftw
Absolutely agree with this! Favorite song.
Kiske is THE VOICE of Metal. His voice adds brightness to any song.
Kiske is "The Voice"!
Just remember that this guys made this song and others very complete and complex when they were like 19Yo. Amazing!
Kiske is Power House ! best Metal vocalist today ..
Going to see Helloween here in New York City in May. Cannot wait.🎃
Michi and Andi together bring this great songs to another level. How many Tears is definitly one you should listen to.
Headbangers Ball tour with Anthrax & Exodus? I saw them on that in 89.
Only having 10k likes to this video shows exactly how sad it is that so few people still know about this amazing band. Thank you for reigniting my love for them.
I've watched some interviews with Kiske, and he absolutely loves Deris. He thinks of him like a soulmate or something. The bond is real.
The one with chris Jerico is awesome
I speak with Deris after the first show in Monterrey , México (Deris speak spanish) in that time they are not friends yet .... :p the band are divited
@@antoniocarlin5026 The tour was an experiment if they could get along, and they did. It's explained on the Jericho interview
@@alancamarena3061 Yes I got the triple dvd on the bonus speak about It
the fun part is figuring out who's singing the top line and who's singing the harmony, because they're trading places all over the place. what's cray, is deries has been singing all the top lines on this live for almost 20 yrs (it's originally a kiske song), and he's completely relearned and rearranged the parts he's been singing all this time for this new line up.
That’s because we all know kiske sounds better lol
Absolute masterpiece!! I've been listening to this song since the 80s and it never gets old. So many change ups and unbelievable vocals 🎃🎃🎃
Helloween was 20 years to early out with their music,if they had come out in the 2000 they had blew the roof of all houses. The same with Dizzy miss lizzy who come out in 1986 but the music world wasent ready,so they got really big in 2001 instead
@@jensenmekk they were before their time. My parents thought I was insane listening to them when I was 8 years old!!
Kirby, I can't recomend the live album this is taken off highly enough. A future collector piece!
Glad you enjoyed it too! Their performace is one of a kind, really. Thank you Kirby, as always! ❤
Kiske with his high clean voice, and Deris with all the unique sound techniques
This is oldschool, and one of the best bands EVER. I saw them live in my hometown with this setup, and it was so cool. I like both Kiske and Deris, i think they're both amazing. I basicly grew up on their music. Amazing!
Seeing and hearing this entire breakdown, with all of the appreciation and recognition for the vocal and instrumental talent, makes me want to go back in time to the early 1980s into the 1990s, and tell all the people (ie: my Dad, teachers, clergy, PMRC, etc) who mocked me for being a fan of metal/thrash metal/etc, and dismissed the musicians as talentless hacks, and tell them all to: "SUCK IT!!"
Watching this UA-cam channel, and the many metal song reactionms, is kinda like vindication for me.
Up
She really should check out Amanda Somerville for sure
@@switchboardrevelry4275 she's definitely one the best !
YES!! An analysis of Silence, by Kiske/Somerville!!
Totally agree, Amanda/ Kiske duet s both albums are incredible, needs to check out Amanda's Trillium solo albums
Fantastically done!
Simp. She is already married dude.
I normally don’t watch vocal coaches on UA-cam because they tend to focus only
On the vocals and not the performance. HOWEVER, you are different which is a great surprise I’m glad you enjoy everything about the performance I love Helloween is my second favorite band in the world. Loved this reaction I’m subscribing ! :)
Their voices combined are so good! Really took the band to another level! Can't wait to see them live again!
Watching again. These two (along with James LaBrie) are my favorite singers ever. I am really glad you got to appreciate Andi in this song a little more. The guy is a vocal prodigy.
First time I've heard of this song and heard of this band, love it. Also lead singer reminds a lot of Rob Halford , great voice!
Kai Hansen, the guitarist wearing the long black coat, was once the lead singer in the band (early days), so you might be hearing him backing up Michael and Andi in many cases here. This band is in top form here…many decades after they came onto the scene! Thank you for this!!
Next Helloween's song that showcases Kiske's amazing voice should be A Tale That Wasnt Right in 1992
Next year this time ;)
Her wearing not only panda ears, but also the panda tail (that wasn't right) today might be foreshadowing....
oh yes, this Song and from from the past
Mankind from the same show would be great as well, as he had a single voice crack which is super rare on Kiske, also Your Turn as well as he also gets a couple notes wrong on the guitar and his reaction to both mistakes are priceless
I saw a live Helloween vid from 1987 and Kiske was like incredible in it. I don't think many people have heard that concert. The audio quality is bad though. But Kiske sings Guardians on it and it sounds really cool.
Helloween is an underappreciated band, I loved seeing you react to them!
Love your enthusiasm for different kinds of music. It's so infectious and just adorable. Keep up the excellent work!
I’ve gotten to see Helloween twice in concert. Once with Kiski in 1989, and once with Andy Deris 20 years later. Both are great live
I am extremly happy to see your second reaction on Helloween. I cannot wait until tomorrow.
One of the few bands that give you a 15 min song and at the end you want more 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was there and it was even more incredible than what can be seen and heard in the video.
'Hold my beer'

Probably the coolest reaction vid I've seen you do yet...
Such an amazing band..
Thank you!
I'm old enough to have listened to Keeper of the Seven Keys when it came out. I was never a big fan of theirs, I've only got Keeper 1 &2. But when I watched that show, I realized how good they really were.
How versatile Deris is❤️ but Kai Hansen deserves a reaction that guy sang crazy at tha show❤️
Моя любимая группа. С неё начинал слушать рок в 1989 году и продолжаю до сих пор. Браво мужики👏👏👏 так держать!!!👍👍👍
Ralph's other bands; Tyran Pace & Primal Fear are no slouches either.
What a live performance by the band. Kiske's voice is still amazing.
And I love the enthusiasm of the reviewer. Brilliant to watch.
Hahaha loved your comment
I listened to that song for 30 years now and still gives me tears in my eyes... thanks
Beautiful 💛
The melody Elizabeth pointed out as coming out of a Beethoven concerto is actually from Brahms Hungarian Dance #5.
@@MissLoonasSpeech Not only her. I shall be picking it up, actually thought I had it.
Thanks!
I agreee… we got the right is phenomenal!!!
Elizabeth the way you watch a video reminds me of a child at Christmas amazement and wonder you have a fan for life
Fan-tas-tic.
Absolutely and undoubtedly : How many Tears should be next
I saw Helloween live in Warszawa on 2018. I was blow away.
I loved the reaction to the high note sooo original! Also I will suggest it again and will keep doing it because I think you are missing out on one of the most unique voices in metal Nevermore.
Another epic music piece for the month of spookyness and creepyness:
Dark Moor - Devil in the Tower
Neoclassic/symphonic metal straight from Spain and an amazing one minute middle section of this very song which is very much
Elizabeth's guilty pleasure of all time!!
Dark Moor is one of those European Neoclassic/symphonic metal bands who are criminally underrated and almost forgotten.
Their high time were the late 90s and 2000s years.
Excellent song nice
Excelente eleccion! Gran cancion y una banda poco valorada, seria interesante ver a Elizabeth descubriendo a Elisa C. Martin ya que hablamos de DM tambien.
I think I sugested them once a long time ago, great choice! 🤘🤘
ya que hablan de Metal de España sería un sueño una reaccion de Opera Magna - Edgar Alain Poe del directo!
Never thought about Dark Moor as something creepy or spooky, otherwise they sound triumphal. Great group and i would like to see them on this channel anyway
GREATEST REACTION 😭😭😭😭😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍👍 Sooooooo professional. So PRO Thanks for share.
Please listen to:

- Abigail by King Diamond
- Up All Night by Slaughter
- The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden
- Still Loving You by The Scorpions
- Freak on a Leash by Korn
- I, Caligula by Ex Deo
Queen of the Reich by Queensryche, yes please
Sign of the Southern Cross! Why? Because Ronnie James Dio is on vocals!
I sure would love to see Elizabeth discover King Diamond
or if we want to stay with halloween them Dream warriors by Dokken or feed my Frankenstein by Alice Cooper

The live on 3 continents version is a masterpiece
The solo parts you thought sounded like they were taken straight out of a Beethoven concerto are actually excerpts from the Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms, though sped up and obviously alienated. (Helloween also mentioned this themselves in an interview back in 1987.) The part starting at 27:37 sounds somewhat similar to the beginning of Hungarian Dance no. 5.
I rate this song as one of the best songs in metal period. Loved your reaction.
if you know Kai Hansen's voice you can clearly hear it when he's doing backing vocals
I was thinking exactly that. He has a very unique voice and once you know it it's very easy to pick out.
You are right lione is amazing
@@Hyey0711 he is!
yeah, but as a dickinson fanboy here, i have to admit these 2 sing CIRCLES around bruce.
@@cbr9914 there are probably dozens of singers better than Dickinson now but I think his influence (like Halford's, like Dio's...) can't be denied.
All those requests are great, have asked myself, but I'd say for Lione, we skip his Angra stuff in favor of Rhapsody or even Turilli/ Lione. For Angra, if we can have it (Shaman was taken down for copyright), Edu or André. 😉😉
It couldn't be more perfect! Both the live performance and the reaction. Pumpkins united, we are!
I am sure you were told this before but thank you for taking the time to apreciate and analyze this music, realy like your videos
This girl is perfect.

During the video I was thinking of how much fun it must be for you during a rock concert like this. Awesome!
