I got jumpscared by a steel eel today. I was trying to activate my Booyah Bomb and it splatted me… and then another one knocked me backward while I was trying to launch an egg in one of the Big Shot’s cannons.
Those moments when you’re attacking a steelhead and a steel eel phases through it, or two steel eels combine (mostly on marooners bay) and form an extra long one
Every time I hear them i go in fight or flight mode and look for them in every direction imaginable. If it's targeting me, I run for my life praying that my teammates will splat it.

That's exactly how I'm feeling too. They always appear out of nowhere at the most inconvenient time possible
they are especially creepy when they sneak up on you durring fog
Despite being large, long, and loud metal vehicles, they always somehow manage to sneak up on you undetected.
Because the flyfish and fishsticks are always louder so they can perfectly sneak up on you 🥲

The worst is at 0:40, on that map and at that spot, specifically. It feels like you'll make it, but steel head bumps you then splats you.
You should never be at that spot on that map. There's legit zero reasons to ever be there. Stay on the higher part.
