- In this video - I show how to install the Aux switch on your 2022.5+ Chevy Silverado ZR2.
These instructions will be the same for the 1500 and the 2500 - but the 1500 has 3 additional pins that need to be ran. The 2500 should have these pins already installed. Also note - the 2500 will have the switches - but the firewall power line, and the auxillary fuse box will not be installed. They are simple to run through the firewall and back behind the hvac box.

I have no problem tearing an engine down to the block and rebuilding it, but electrical scares the heck out of me. You have brought me a bit closer to having the courage to attempt this. DS 1480 - there is a "plug and play" solution for the wiring for those missing pins. I am going to wrap up that video this weekend - and post it next week.
Now I say plug and play - I had to extend the harness that I bought by 3 feet! Sucks cutting up a new harness - but the truck is almost done and back together.
