I am not doing a full goblin run. But my first army with zathan is full goblin, one mage, backstabber and an artillery piece. Those little green guys can get so overpowered with all the buffs stacked on them. It's crazy to see goblins that fight to the death like unbreakable dwarves. And god forbid you build a full stack of blunderbusses and fire glaives if the enemy cannot overwhelmed you with numbers, by the time they reach you, they will be charcoal for the forges. Apparently their chaos realm campaign is different and you can claim some really strong artifacts that would buff gobos even more, like 5 melee attack and defense and like 20% phys resistance.

Your macro and campaign strategy is next level. One thing I will suggest when declaring war. Check to see what factions the “Enemy” is at war with. Join that factions war against the enemy. You get major brownie points, you can get agreements or just straight up money. Overlooked tactic.
I'd love to watch a Slaaneshi X Only playthrough, mainly because I want an excuse to watch you try out their diplomacy mechanics, but also because I'm sure there's going to be a really big challenge with them as a faction which would be great to watch

Well to his surprise, I swept the land with my lil Gits and purged the lands. once I could afford another army I would max out in like 2 turns. clusters of 3 armies together heading in every direction. Think we beat the campaign and I had 17 armies. Lose an army? No problem! Rank 9 gits on the way! Also armaments just became a trade resource for labor and nothing else.
I just want everyone reading this to know that in my Northern Provinces campaign(still ongoing), every time I kicked Deathmaster Snikch's butt I said "Snikches get Stitches".
I think it would be interesting to see a blunderbuss only playthrough before they get nerfed. BTW most underrated channel on Yt keep making these videos please!
Somewhat. It's fun, but the management can be a lot of work when you're expanding quickly. Also there aren't any unique mechanics for each LL, which is a bit of a shame.
@@BrilliantStupidity yeah like the difference between zhatan and drazoath is starting location and slightly worse convoys, not really huge changes, the management can also be awful if you don't steam roll, also it's annoying there isn't some kind of building to give you passive labour or lower the labour casualties
@@zcritten i managed an excess of passive labour by just building a couple stacks of goblin labourers and sending them away to raid some rich provinces that werent immediately on my warpath.
@@zcritten if you ever need labour, just create 20 stacks of laborers with an overlord for upkeep reduction and raid zharr nagrund. They'll never war declare and you get about 400-600 labour per turn per stack as well as a couple hundred gold per turn rebate.

On the lord selection part, 20% chance of **stealing** a magic item means the enemy army has to have an item for you to have 20% of getting it. The other option GENERATES a magic item at end of battle. So yeah it's better in all cases.
Recently I tried playing total war warhammer 1, failed miserably, i dont have enough brainpower to play this kind of game, and watching these videos i feel marveled!! Lol
I'd love to see a peasants only Cathay playthrough, even if it's a shorter campaign because of the lack of variety, or would you wait for more units to release before trying that?
I'll definitely try it - I've had the thumbnail ready to go for like 2 months now lol. Just don't want to do it too close to the Brettonian Peasant campaign.

Will we get a flying unit only campaign ? Probably with Emrik for Legendary dragons stack or Rakarth for harpy stack in early game, manticore mid game and dragons end game ? You had not played the elves for now so it could be a challenge for them ?
They do have some pretty good bonuses, but I'm not using heroes (other that Gorduz) so I think the magic is slightly more valuable here. I will probably recruit 1 of them in the next episode just for some variety.

Tip: You can use the gate settlements of cathay to store surplus labour since they dont have public order
