- This is solely my opinion, based on different spark plugs , with my tune backed up with physical results, and metrics. My intention is not to persuade any one , only to give you an overview, all plugs were gapped and recapped the same, and new when I bought them,New Instagram, just started @brucecustoms

For the critics apr k04 alone puts me at 363-375 hp

.Ko4 turbo : 363hp APR V3.1 (100 octane Race Map tune) Link below for tune specs
.Injen intake: 12hp (More air flow cooler and , denser air, cone is rotes to the bottom grill
.snow performance water meth : 55-60hp (80/20 methanol) mix at 80% water at 20%
.Exhaust : 15hp cat, single to dual muffler, and 2 resonators
.Bosch s3 fuel Injectors: 10 hp (allows more air fuel to accomidate the air mixture, with out these I was running lean, and not getting all my potential power
.gfb diverter valve 17 torque (helps to hold Boost)
.APR turbo muffler delete 2 hp ( more of turbo sounds, not much power
.Sprint booster better throttle response (Helps with throttle to computer Lag, quicker 0 to 60, and higher revs, quicker

Audi r8 coils ( helps with More efficent Spark,(hotter) there is a difference, You have to get one coded under a Audi R8 vin Dealership only, Look up a random Audi R8 on line, if you buy one from online, it will be the same part different color.

Just got the NGK 8s on my A5 made the car feel so much more responsive. I’m getting the car tuned right now it’s in the shop I’m so excited for tomorrow!
MrCurtis yeh they have a smooth, and better idle, but I got more torque and throttle response out of my ngk 7’s I bought them both new, so that I wouldn’t mistake it for , responsiveness, just from getting new spark plugs vs my old ones. Main can’t wait let me know how your tune goes, and if you’re savy, mechanically, try the 7’s new. What tune are you going with,
I’m getting a custom K-TAG tune. Never heard of it before but I trust my mechanic and he says he can do a better job than me getting APR stage 2 so we will see

Try the Brisk Silver. 3 ranges colder. Works great for my 2.0 w gtx3071r and straight methanol. 👍

Did you run these plugs when you were APR stage 3 tuned? APR specs out that cooler NGK iridium . I'm APR stage 3 tuned with basically everything you have on your car except the IE intake.

Hey man nice video congrats. I have a Seat Leon Cupra 2tfsi stage 2+ around 360-370hp and the ngk bkr8eix. Do you think i should go ngk r too? My cold starts are very rough, almost like a cammed car and then after 2 Minutes it settles down and runs good. Only have this problem when cold starting. Do you thing it could be the plugs? Maybe gapped like shit from the pre owner?😂

i’m apr stage 1 with high flow cat on 2.0t, any idea why i keep misfiring with r8 red coils? i tried bkr7 with different gaps and still misfired and running rich. i put the stock coils back on, and seems to be doing fine so far. i checked the serial on r8 coils, and they match oem.
Could be a bad set is it any specific coil or cylinder misfiring, and some time you have to push them hard to get them in? Let me know, and some people will put serial numbers to scam you
@@brucecustommotors it says it’s misfiring on all 4 cyclinders, and other times it just says “random / multiple cyclinder misfire”. i ordered a set of ngk r plugs, going to see if that makes a difference. if not, i guess my stock coils will have to do.

Im confused cause the NGK R got to be the laser platinum and not as u mentioned “double platinum” im i missing something?

@@Majdyakan00 basically regardless if it’s called double platinum or platinum depending on the seller, could be confusing sometimes, it’s basically our factory spec one, so if you go to the realtor auto arts store it matches your vin

You never ran straight copper plugs?. I do and change them every time I do my oils change every 4K miles.

Every 8000km, or 4-5000 miles. The earlier the better

Lost torque? Poor combustion. I'm using RS7 sparks.
