Right now, if you are a key worker like me, you need to keep your vehicle in a good condition to get to work and back safely. This is a very easy and simple way to complete an oil change at home!
With minimal tools, you could change the oil in your own car!!
    Filming stuff
    iPhone XR - amzn.to/3tOqqaV
    Gimbal - amzn.to/2QIQ0zn
    Mic - amzn.to/3eepQfQ
I am changing the oil in my L322 3.6 TDV8 Range Rover Vogue. If you want to change the oil in a different car, the process is similar except the oil filter may be in a different location. Always check to make sure you use the correct filters and oil for your car!
    Enjoy!

Why not drain from the sump? Access is easy at raised height. There is also a second sump for the turbo that can clog if not drained regularly and starve the turbos of oil.

Unless you use jacks and a secondary safety, you should never go under the vehicle 🚗 this is how cars are now serviced at JLR service centres (confirmed) no more drip trays

Turbos fail on the 3.6 due to the clogging of the EGR. This causes excess soot build up on the VNT mechanism. The egr should be replaced or cleaned on or around 100k miles to prevent turbo failure however this was never disclosed to be a maintenance item on this engine

@@scousejt I worked at an lr dealership and still do it the old fashioned way esp having two sump plugs as the second one is next to the oil pickup

@@darrensmith2141 I did too, it’s changed a bit since then mate 👍🏻 yes it’s good practice, however this guide (or rather a video showing you how I did it) is how the vehicles are serviced at this time
