TAKE. MY. MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After watching SV Delos, SV La Vagabonde, Monday Never, Chasing The Story, Untie The Lines, and more - you've just come in and changed the game in under 15 minutes. To be able to tell a story, VISUALLY, without words is simply astounding! Keep up the good work, and get on Patreon!! EDIT: Nevermind. I'm your 10th patron!
Totally agree, it is refreshing to see this, top quality, wish I had that much tallent with film editing to tell a story. Captivating...without the 'bikinis'!!!
I've spent the last couple years drinking beer and watching youtube sailing videos in the evenings after work. I don't think there's a sailing series out there I haven't seen, but this is definitely one of my favourites. Well done. I especially love the little four-legged dude.
Jason Masters yep same my mind was BLOWN when I accidently clicked video number 3 and I was blown away at the amazing production quality of these couple of guys starting from the begging now
Well done, lads. My 1953 Dutch-built steel girl is still sitting on the hard, awaiting more welds to her hull and paint on her deck. The relentless summer heat is yielding to autumn's brisk approach, and the work readying her for Mother Ocean (was once a Marine) is less demanding in the cool air on the brow, but more urgent in the heart. It is a pleasure to open a brew on deck in an asphalt sea, after a long day of shipwright's work, to get a little inspiration from those who want to share with me that it can indeed be done. Fair winds and following seas to you all.
So wonderful to watch this! Wow. My dad, three friends and their dog, Scupper, sailed around the world together on a 3 masted schooner from 1949 to 1953. One of his friends, William Ward Vickers, wrote a book about it, On Wits and Wind.
Little to no words... just sea, wind, ocean... you make me feel like I'm there with you. Your story telling is truly wonderful. Thank you for this great vibe I have inside me now.
Mad mad skills gents. I am just awe struck by the production quality of this. Incredible. So well rounded visually. You show instead of tell and leave the imagination to connect points in the story line. Thank you.
i really don't think anyone could have said it better. freaking wow to the enth degree! talk about skyrocketing production value! i have never seen such a masterpiece of work not even needing narration. well done!
I'm surprised this video doesn't have more views already. What beautiful cinematography. Also, I'm happy to see a crew with a pup on board :) Fair winds and following seas, gentlemen.
These videos are mesmerising, really. This is art, you guys are really talented. And you are real sailors who work on their boat and fix things. Hats off to you!
At last some sailing footage, not all from a GoPro and the babble commentary of presenters who cannot present, but with a lightness, a finesse that shows a real understanding of the subject matter and the mastery of editing. Well done.
Love your movies guys. Extremly good, professional filming. Don't miss at all, all the unnessesary talking that you normally find in this kind of films. Thanks a lot. Safe sailing.
These videos literally trump ever cruising related channel I've found to date, and that poetic monologue of sorts at the beginning and end was amazing. Is that original content or the work of another great creator? Good shit guys keep it up.
😊❤ Scotty, you stop by last night to see me.. And this pops up today on my phone..😊 It was so nice to see you and Kenny.. So happy for the both of you. Keep a wonderful heart and a smile on your face. Be safe in your adventures wherever they may take you. ❤⛵⛵⛵⛵❤
Man, I had to watch this twice because I could not believe the level of video skills and creative angles in which everything was shot! Your blowing my mind right now! I have seen a crap load of youtube sailing channels and this one takes the cake! I had to google your names and look up your bio's on your site. filmmakers! I knew it had to be something like that.
Wow, just wow. Started at Episode 3 and was floored. The production quality of your videos is a step above all the others. I loved the actual sailing footage as well. Keep it up!
Keep coming back to this video. Words to live by from the fisherman in the modest white boat. If we all just took only what we needed how great would this world be?
A deeply felt thanks to you all. Your beautiful vistas and thoughtful words inspire me to create some more adventures of my own. P.S: stellar choice of music.
Simply amazing. Truly in awe!!! This is my third watch of them all. Just found about this today from my Daughter's Facebook post...this is maybe the best kept secret on the internet!! Can't wait for more...and definitely going to be sharing these everywhere I can....everyone must experience this wonderful journey you have all let us peak in on. Much love and light to you all on your adventure. Hug the pup, enjoy your journey....and more please!
Really appreciate it Heidi, so glad you like them! We will keep them coming :) please give your daughter a big kiss from all of us (but especially Andrew)
So, so incredibly well done. The cinematography, editing, just everything was perfect. I subscribe to about 2 dozen cruiser vlogs but this managed to become my favorite in a single video. Oh, the soundtrack too! Seu Jorge, Desmond Dekker... amazing! Blown away!
Right on guys! As a photographer, I find your work simply fantastic! It's nice to see someone put some thought into creating stunning visuals without all the shakiness and bad editing. Subscribed and looking for more.
Loved the raw feel of these vids, you guys must either be very tolerant or have a very strong bond/love for each other... the 'Eternity' quote clip sounded very like famous British bible teacher... Derek Prince. Thanks for your work. Be Blessed.
Agree with Christopher.. just when you think 'another sailing thingy on UA-cam'YouGuys come along. Love the narration (remember I come from episode 3 where you actually talk at times ;-) and the vid. stumbled in on episode three and back to 1 i went immediately. hope there is more to come, we'll see and let that be a surprise.. I see you're film makers, explains the great vid a camera work (it's not fair ;-) we want MORE.. thanks guys, game changer !!
By FAR the best produced videos I have seen on UA-cam, I don't know what kind of camera you guys are using but Damn, stunning visuals. You guys should have millions of viewers, Started with Video #3, and have now watched them all. I'd pay to see a travel documentary made by you guys any day
So it's all been said already... really high quality videos, as good or better than any of the sailing channels. On Feb 3 next year I'm retiring and soon after we're heading out the Golden Gate and sailing to Mexico. I've been preparing the boat for quite awhile now. Can't wait. Your videos are truly inspiring, not that I really needed any more inspiration.
Wow... you guys rock with your adventure and videos... I hoping you keep the videos coming because I can't get enough... best sailing production on youtube yet...
This is the dream - we've just taken up sailing and long to one day take our beagle, Marley with us!!!! thanks so much for sharing and proving to us that this is possible one day!!! Subscribed for more!
i started with vid no 3 but now i will watch all and man its just joy to watch your adventure since many of us will never be able to do such adventure, well atleast on sea :-P Sail safe and have fun... Greetings from Türkey
You guys are going to make sailing great again. LOL! Seriously, though... you are changing the game. While your videos are technically beautiful and amazing, the main thing is that you guys are real fuckin' sailors. Can't wait to see where cruising takes you... and where you take cruising!
Tim McDonald yup I agree... they have a sense of that sailing vibe that I've been missing. Theirs so many sailing vlogs anymore, and for some odd resone they seem to have lost their charm to me :( I had high hopes for the ( all hands on deck ) crew -sailing vlogs but they have been slowed down big time.. from what I know he's heading back to his boat soon here.. anyways he has a nice salty sailor vibe to him, and I hope he starts putting out his adventure. Looking forward to seeing more from these guys.. maybe a bit about the boat, crew, and even a little about the bigger picture of their dreams
This is poetry for the eyes and ears! This is beautifully made and edited, I only really wish there were more clips to enjoy. Please upload more soon! I too for sure would be a patreon!!!!
Great videography! I am so glad I found this channel and will be allowed to “sea” the change. You guys have added a new edge to cinematography and set the bar high for everyone to follow! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming! To create something like this personifies the commitment to excellence and I do not think people realize the forethought and work that goes into a product like these videos. One day I can look back and say…..I was there at the beginning; I was subscriber #9.
So kind of you to say, Idk Sailing! I just read your comment to the crew and we're smiling from ear to ear. We have been working our butts off on these videos and it's very nice to hear it's not going unnoticed.
To put it in perspective, I have seen thousands of sailing videos and visited hundreds of channels. Sea Change is a different genre all in its own right. Your final products (videos) are on a different level. The right balanced catalyst between sailing, capturing a moment and sharing a moment is portrayed in your series. Most channels produce videos in volume and lack quality, given your circumstances, location etc. I am very surprised (impressed) you managed to produce these productions in the time frame allotted. I have no experience in videography or even sailing, but I know a good product when I see one. Do not despair, some critics will say, “well if I had that kind of equipment, I could produce those kinds of videos”, in reality; no….no they cannot. Very rarely am I intrigued to the point where I am waiting to see in anticipation how you can top the next video; you have set the bar very high. My best advice….link your videos to other major channels. Currently, when I click on your videos, there are random “not topic specific” video suggestions to the right. Using key words and suggestions you can broaden your audience. You guys need to share this work with others, so people can see what is worthy of a Patreon support. Your by-product, you may inspire others to Pay It Forward in a variety of ways. Whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it. Your hard work is not going un-noticed; your hard work is not being exported correctly to the masses. I have high hopes for your channel, and I cannot wait to see what is in your future. “If you dare to dream, be prepared to live that dream” (unknown). Keep up the great work! IDK Sailing, #9
Awesome! New favourite sailing channel. What you guys lack in bikini girls you make up in story telling skill. Looking forward to more, thanks for sharing.
I subbed. Remember me. Best videos of sailing yet. Girls don"t want to see other girls in bikinis getting drunk on sailboats talking shallow thoughts and brain dead. We want to watch real sailing, learn and soon sail, meet men who sail for the right reasons, the seas, nature, love and adventure, looking for humanity and intellectually stimulating thoughts. Peanut is so cute, he was a captain in his other life for sure. Your editing and camera skills are going to be noted by Oliver Stone and crew soon.
I like their music and philosophy....I've sailed coastal waters in a Corsair 24... Florida, and Alaska (Misty Fjords), but always with an Island or reef on the windward side protecting me from the seas, except at Dixon entrance.... single handing, ready for a bigger Corsair and the Abacos... but open ocean? Not me....
Hi guy.. what haveppened to you? you made such a good job! I now how hard is living together in such a tight space..sailor say that a couple that live two years together on a boat can live the whole life together... just friends is much harder...is that the cause of your desapearing?? I hope you are all doing well I spect start sailing withing tree years...wiht a little luck!! thanks for this good work very encouraging!
This was awesome! I was inspired to sail awhile back but you guys have lighted a fire under my ass to act faster than ever to start my journey. Cant wait to watch the rest of your channel.
wow we just found your channel amazing !!!! we love the story so far we also noticed you guys were in the same marina we are making a restoration project. We are anxious to see more, fair winds cheers
Great videos guys! Keep it up. Hey Brandon, saw the write up on you in the Hownikan paper today. I'm also a member of the CItizen Band Potawatomi and am also a sailor here in Kansas. I had already seen a couple of your videos before I saw the write up. Nice piece.

Ditto!
Agreed with what Christopher said... WOW FACTOR...
Agree. Great job. Just found you guys!!!

How come we all started on Episode 3, figured out this is seriously different and whooped it to Ep.1? Lol.
And another the same.
Well done, lads. My 1953 Dutch-built steel girl is still sitting on the hard, awaiting more welds to her hull and paint on her deck. A real pleasure to watch. Some of the best sailing footage I have seen. That underwater shot of the boat under sail was amazing.
Mad mad skills gents. I am just awe struck by the production quality of this. Incredible. So well rounded visually. You show instead of tell and leave the imagination to connect points in the story line. Thank you.
Great to watch you doing the same things I have done for the last 50 years. The good part is still living on our boat. Our home.
Thank you for poignantly reminding me how I'm wasting my life with my 9-5 job. Give me a little while and I'll see you there.

It does say they are 3 filmmakers. These guys are pros and it shows. Nice job! Amazing, really!
I'm surprised this video doesn't have more views already. What beautiful cinematography.
Also, I'm happy to see a crew with a pup on board :)
Fair winds and following seas, gentlemen.
Wow guys, this is some high quality videography! Like seriously. This is work to be proud of.

I thoroughly agree with all the complimentary comments but want to add; that puppy is too cute for words.
You are both cinematographers and poets ! Very much enjoyed watching these episodes. Thanks for putting this out.
Saw this and #3. Rich storytelling--you gentlemen are expert at sharing the beauty of your universe.
Man, I had to watch this twice because I could not believe the level of video skills and creative angles in which everything was shot! Your blowing my mind right now!
