Until they "investigate" or whateva they do. If insurance is involved injury claims & such, nothing will b resolved until the Ins company closes the case. Then Lyfts ppl gotta investigate. A Whole lot of "who shot john" BS & Dont waste yr time contacting them been there done it. I gave Lyft a piece of my mind tho
BTW, I had a somewhat similar passenger in 2018. She was obviously distressed after breaking up with her boyfriend. She had a fishy stinking smell that I had to open the windows. At the end of the trip, she demanded me making an illegal u-turn, because she “lives here and everyone is doing this.” I refused to break the law, dropped her off across the street, gave her a one star rating, and wrote to Lyft that she was demanding an illegal u-turn.
Later, I discovered that she gave me a one star rating and complained about me to Lyft, something about me being rude to her.
Lyft did not deactivate my account because when she complained, Lyft already knew my side of the story.
I would take them to court as well as contact the media. They would have a field day.

How does Lyft's Safety Team absolutely ignore their own rating system as part of their so called investigations of rider's allegations. If the driver is rated 4.9 - 5.0 stars with many compliment badges & frequent tips, that OBVIOUSLY means the driver is DOING A GOOD JOB & treating the customers well & also an ASSET TO THE COMPANY. How do they overlook their OWN rating system???

SUE the girl, name Lyft as a co-conspirator, for damages (real damages, compensation for emotional distress - emotional pain and suffering, punitive damages)
If you don’t find a lawyer that agrees to take it on contingency, take it YOURSELF to Small Claims court for $10K in damages.

I would sue Lyft and the girl for everything I can get. I guarantee you an attorney would take this case just for the media coverage alone. But why would he ever wanna be activated for such a piece of crap company that would do that to him. But I guess that’s why they pay us the big bucks. 😂😂😂

No one cares I have and unique deactivation story from Lyft. No one could care about the driver even when it’s totally not my fault or unique circumstances it’s a F joke

Damn this sucks. He really needs to take her to civil court. Because he’s lost thousands of dollars because she lied on him. She also needs her account suspended. And going forward this guy definitely needs a dash cam.
But what about the driver who denied the cat being in his vehicle? I read he was “temporarily” deactivated. Never heard anything more after that. Does anyone know?

I thought Prop 22 was supposed to prevent this sort of thing. I didn't even have Prop 22 when I was deactivated from Lyft. I don't know why it seems worse trying to defend yourself as a driver even now. As for the cat carrier, how would you not have noticed your rider not carrying the cat out the car? Ridiculous. Have found sunglasses and maybe a hat, some Airpods. I used to try and contact people. They disabled that feature in Uber now.

Easy, figure out the trip that the item was lost, then click the question mark, the app will walk you through or the pax will get in touch with you through the app
Amazing on how quick Lyft respond re Tux but they can't be quick to resolve this gentleman reactivation!
