My father died many years ago and was an avid collector,I’ve now taken to collecting myself.I find it great fun and it’s free when you noodle.great channel and a lot of fun😊
Really love the energy of this video Thompson’s coins, the exuberance almost adds an extra vibrancy to the colour of these coins! The honey bee was my favourite, imagine if you accidentally put one of them in a vending machine, you’d sure have a bit of egg on your face Cheers
What the heck?Matt, this is the 3rd video I've found lately that I haven't seen. Hmm! You wouldn't be doin business without me ...... would you? 🥴 Just kidding. Another great video Matt thankyou AND thankyou soooo very much for another coin delivery that came buy and once again the packaging was out of this world ....... I've never seen care taken like that before! The box was great, the coins were happy having a little party inside when I opened BUT as soon as they saw me ...... well they just played dead! .. o.k. Matt. Again thankyou and if you see this tomorrow, please let me know about the 2020 $2 I was asking about. Thankyou again! Matt is good Matt is wise Matt only wants us to be happy! 🇭🇲🤗
Thank you for this video ! I started collecting coins years ago when I worked as a check out chick and I would find the colourful $2 coins and take them home (don’t worry I would always replace the money I took with my own !) But I have started collecting the limited edition books that have come out and I really want to expand my collection. Hope to see more videos from you !
Thanks for sharing your story Holly! I feel like that's a really common starting point for so many collectors and often leads to such a rewarding a fun journey into collecting :) Thanks for watching too!
Matt, my story is a little interesting. I had a close relationship with Justin from downies in 2016/2017 with the licensed Post Office Group (LPOG) He talked me into buying the planetary set for $170 dollars. He knew i had a soft spot for anything planetary.
Justin is a lovely guy! I used to work with him and it's always great to catch up with him :) Those sets are so incredibly popular now it looks like your interest in the planets has really taken care of you! Thanks for watching! 😄
Great video Matt! Can you please make a video about the RAM 1oz kangaroo silver coins in blisters and proof coins? Do you think that they have potential? Love the different designs!
Hey Max! Sure I will definitely do a video on these and have a chat about them. I agree there are certainly some wonderful designs which have been produced over the years :) Thanks for watching!
Great question! I made a video highlighting some neat accessories and my website has a range of suitable storage options. Above all else, make sure to keep your coins in a cool/dry space out of direct sunlight and you'll be heading in the right direction :) Thanks for watching!
Hahaha thank you very much I really appreciate the support! I try to keep the two worlds somewhat separate but there's always bound to be some crossover :)
Hiya Matt! Got your video recommended by YT. I didn’t know you have your own channel after seeing your videos at Bullion Now. Great information in this video and I do love collecting the $2 coloured coins although they are nearly impossible to come by here in Singapore! Keep on uploading your videos. Will try to watch as many as I can. Showing my support by subbing! Cheers and have a wonderful weekend 👍🏻😊
Thank you so much for the kind words! Hopefully I'll be able to showcase many more interesting coins which you may not otherwise get to see :) Thanks for watching and subscribing I really appreciate it!
Hi, I have a set of the 2018 30th anniversary $2 coin set. Do you know if this set will sky rocket even more down the track they are selling over $1000 on ebay atm.
Thanks for watching! I believe it is, I think there was some confusion created by a media report on the C mintmarked coins being a limited mintage (some people thought the small mintage was to be the entire mintage) but it would be very unusual for the mint to go to all the effort of a coloured $2 coin without issuing it for circulation too.
A nice short video that explains coin collecting for beginners. Thankyou.

I love the two dollar coloured coins. It’s great to see them in circulation 👍😎🌸
There really is something special about getting one in your change when you don't expect to see a little bit of colour in your hand! :)
That bee coin is un-BEE-lievable!
There's been quite a lot of BUZZ around it too Ryan!

Great video! How would you recommend storing coins preserved in their protective folders? Or I guess keeping them all together?

Nice video. I am new to coin collecting. I subbed. Do all banks sell coin rolls?
I always think of a PNC as meaning postage & Coin
But each to their own.
Thanks for the video. Is the honey bee coin also going into general circulation?
Thanks for watching!

Sounds like a recipe to make money to me. Mint a $2.00 coin and sell it for $10.00. Are we gullible or not!!
